Hotels Near Zhuoshui Station in Nantou

The surrounding environment is really great! Like in the forest, I booked a promotional room with two beds. I was worried that the single bed was too small, but it turned out to be two large beds. There is also a small wooden bathtub in the room, which is very comfortable. There are green trees and air outside the hotel. It's very fresh and great. Although the facilities inside are simple, they have everything you need. Except for the fact that there are no disposable daily necessities according to the regulations, the space is very large. The room on the third floor is really comfortable with the morning sunlight and fresh air! It also comes with breakfast for two guests, which is simple but clean and tidy, which is great!

Great location near the XiTou Forest & Nature Preserve. The comforter has heater, good for cold weather, and two big beds are comfortable. Interior decos are very basic and neat, but not equipped with a pen. Be prepared to climb the stairs for staying at University Building, but is still a nice place to stay for visiting XiTou. They provide good food at the buffet dining.

I visited in May 2024. I am Japanese. There were no staff members who could speak Japanese, but they guided me carefully in English and Chinese. Is this a recently completed hotel? Location: You cannot see Sun Moon Lake from the hotel, but the location is good because the bus stop connecting Sun Moon Lake and Taichung Station is nearby. Room: Smart home technology is progressing, and you can easily adjust the lights and play music. The downside is that the wall separating the room and the toilet is glass, and it is not a closed room, so it is a little awkward if you are with friends... Breakfast: It is not all-you-can-eat, but there are many items and they were all delicious.

All the staff were very accommodating, even going out of their personal way to make my travel around the area easy. Public transportation is passing by the area, you do not have to go to the centre to get a ride back yo Taichung

Supplementary comment~The scenery is too beautiful🥺 We checked in because we were celebrating an anniversary! The hotel also helped with the decoration and provided a bottle of red wine which was very thoughtful☺️ I didn’t go anywhere, just stayed in the hotel and it was so relaxing☺️ There are so many different styles of dinner, but it’s a pity that people with small stomachs can’t hold so many things..😂 After eating, you can go to the play area to move around and throw a basketball to digest... I was so full that I played darts and pool 😂😂 It was so fun 😁 There was some incident at breakfast the next day that I won’t go into details~ But the hotel's handling method is very good. It takes our feelings into consideration! Tea was originally given to us as a gift, but we did not accept it at the moment. But when we checked out, the hotel staff personally gave us handmade bread from the hotel’s baking department and insisted that we accept it😀 I will still choose here next time I go to Nantou for vacation^_^

Clean and nice room. Amazing and we love the view 🪟😍 . The toilet is very good and clean. Reception and staff are very friendly and kind. Walking distance to nearby food, shop and amenities. Breakfast by the hotel is good too.

Excellent view from my room, hotel is in a great location and the staff seem friendly. The breakfast selection is good. The downside of this hotel is the cleanliness. There is dirt in the corners of the rooms and too much mould in the bathroom for the price of the hotel. Needs a deep clean in the bathrooms.

Cleanliness and privacy are issues here. The bathtub was not thoroughly clean or sanitized prior to stay. If you pay attention to the openings of the wooden slats between the backrest, you’ll notice they are stained = full of bacteria. Also, housekeeping pays no attention when the DND light is on. You will be disturbed! Outlets are few and outdated, and the mood lighting is low quality... Pls clean up your act!

I am 1/25 staying in the double room on 606 and smelled a very strong smell of smoke as soon as I entered it. It was like the smell of smoke in KTV. The good thing is that the hotel is strategically located right by the lake on the edge of the village. There is a floating dock with a location on it, where you can enjoy the view while drinking. It is a five-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and other living facilities in Yuchi Township. The hotel looks very beautiful, made of wood, the walls and ceilings of the room are also made of wood, there is a very warm and attractive feeling. Free wireless Internet is available. On the poor side, our room was obviously dirty. Several obvious spots on the beige carpet had a few large, uncomfortable-looking stains. There was a used wet towel on the floor of the shower room, which indicated that the cleanliness of the room and the level of preparation of the room were not high. We weren’t surprised to be staying in room 303 because we stayed for one night and didn’t expect the best room they could give us. The good side of the room is that the lake view is very beautiful (not all rooms can see the lake view), the bad room is that the room is just next to the lobby, so it is very noisy. The front desk kept music and heard it clearly in the room (I think there was a loudspeaker on one wall in the room). After a few hours I told the front desk staff if they would mind turning the volume down a little bit, and they agreed. We could hear it though the business wasn't that loud. Another group gathered in the lobby before setting off, and the noise of their talking and laughing was loud in the room. So if you are staying at this hotel, I suggest you want a room a little further from the front desk. There is an indoor pool downstairs which is great if the water is warm. The water in the same jacuzzi is also very cold. This time of year this place is quite cold, especially at night, so it would be great if you could swim or soak in warm water. We didn't see a person swimming when we lived there. Now talk about breakfast: breakfast should have been from 7 to 9:30. We arrived at the restaurant at 9 o'clock and saw a smileless lady. She took our breakfast coupon and didn't say a word, and then we were the air. There was another employee at that time. A young male waiter. There were a lot of empty tables, but the tableware was not set. After a while we found that we had to do it ourselves, we looked around and found some tableware mats and knives and forks and arranged the table ourselves. Then we went to get something to eat. Although they are still half an hour away from their service, it is obvious that they will not add anything more, and now how much is how much. Because of this, we have to eat several times, like fresh fruit, juice and scrambled eggs. I walked towards the two employees, who were at a table in the corner, far from the guests, and I asked if they would add more to their meal. When you are looking forward to the general breakfast experience at a Taiwanese hotel - friendly welcome, lead you to the table, ask if you want coffee, thoughtful service, thank you when you leave, etc. - then Sun Moon Lake Lushan Forest International Hall is really funny compared to that. My wife and I have been constantly feeling the friendship and enthusiasm of the Taiwanese people during our two-week trip to Taiwan, and we are impressed and happy with this, so we will not be less impressed by Taiwan because of this unpleasant experience. However, if you want to feel the hospitality of Taiwan, I suggest you try other hotels. (Fortunately, we didn't have dinner in the hotel restaurant before, otherwise we would be disappointed twice. We went to the Regal Resort B&B 50 yards away and had a very interesting and enjoyable dinner in a garden lit by candles. The place also has guest rooms, full of artwork and tourist souvenirs. This one might also be a good choice in the area.)
