The good thing is that the hotel is strategically located right by the lake on the edge of the village. There is a floating dock with a location on it, where you can enjoy the view while drinking. After a few hours I told the front desk staff if they would mind turning the volume down a little bit, and they agreed. We could hear it though the business wasn't that loud. Another group gathered in the lobby before setting off, and the noise of their talking and laughing was loud in the room. So if you are staying at this hotel, I suggest you want a room a little further from the front desk. There is an indoor pool downstairs which is great if the water is warm. The water in the same jacuzzi is also very cold. This time of year this place is quite cold, especially at night, so it would be great if you could swim or soak in warm water. We didn't see a person swimming when we lived there. Now talk about breakfast: breakfast should have been from 7 to 9:30. We arrived at the restaurant at 9 o'clock and saw a smileless lady. She took our breakfast coupon and didn't say a word, and then we were the air. There was another employee at that time. A young male waiter. There were a lot of empty tables, but the tableware was not set. After a while we found that we had to do it ourselves, we looked around and found some tableware mats and knives and forks and arranged the table ourselves. Then we went to get something to eat. Although they are still half an hour away from their service, it is obvious that they will not add anything more, and now how much is how much. Because of this, we have to eat several times, like fresh fruit, juice and scrambled eggs. I walked towards the two employees, who were at a table in the corner, far from the guests, and I asked if they would add more to their meal. The lady was still indifferent, and the male waiter looked blank. I motioned for him to come with me, led him to the food table, showed him the juice maker and scrambled egg plates were empty. He nodded, then disappeared into the kitchen, and after a while he brought a glass of juice over, which I drank with my wife. Five minutes later he brought us an egg for two of us to eat. At 9:25, the lady frowned as we left. The male waiter was invisible. When you are looking forward to the general breakfast experience at a Taiwanese hotel - friendly welcome, lead you to the table, ask if you want coffee, thoughtful service, thank you when you leave, etc. - then Sun Moon Lake Lushan Forest International Hall is really funny compared to that. My wife and I have been constantly feeling the friendship and enthusiasm of the Taiwanese people during our two-week trip to Taiwan, and we are impressed and happy with this, so we will not be less impressed by Taiwan because of this unpleasant experience. However, if you want to feel the hospitality of Taiwan, I suggest you try other hotels. (Fortunately, we didn't have dinner in the hotel restaurant before, otherwise we would be disappointed twice. We went to the Regal Resort B&B 50 yards away and had a very interesting and enjoyable dinner in a garden lit by candles. The place also has guest rooms, full of artwork and tourist souvenirs. This one might also be a good choice in the area.)

I would like to stay here again when I come to Sun Moon Lake. Location: You cannot see Sun Moon Lake from the hotel, but the location is good because the bus stop connecting Sun Moon Lake and Taichung Station is nearby. Room: Smart home technology is progressing, and you can easily adjust the lights and play music. The downside is that the wall separating the room and the toilet is glass, and it is not a closed room, so it is a little awkward if you are with friends... Breakfast: It is not all-you-can-eat, but there are many items and they were all delicious.

The hotel also helped with the decoration and provided a bottle of red wine which was very thoughtful☺️ I didn’t go anywhere, just stayed in the hotel and it was so relaxing☺️ There are so many different styles of dinner, but it’s a pity that people with small stomachs can’t hold so many things..😂 After eating, you can go to the play area to move around and throw a basketball to digest... I was so full that I played darts and pool 😂😂 It was so fun 😁 There was some incident at breakfast the next day that I won’t go into details~ But the hotel's handling method is very good. It takes our feelings into consideration! Tea was originally given to us as a gift, but we did not accept it at the moment. But when we checked out, the hotel staff personally gave us handmade bread from the hotel’s baking department and insisted that we accept it😀 I will still choose here next time I go to Nantou for vacation^_^

Stayed in the Tree House Villa for two nights. It was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The front desk service is enthusiastic, and the breakfast and dinner are also delicious and of a high standard. The slide is very fast, and the two children are very satisfied. Even the 40-year-old boy finds it very fun. The only thing is that it requires a hard landing when it reaches the ground. It is recommended that the bottom section should be changed into a buffer zone. The bathroom is very large, and the double massage room faces the uninhabited hillside along the pool window. The surrounding environment is really great! Like in the forest, I booked a promotional room with two beds. I was worried that the single bed was too small, but it turned out to be two large beds. Although the facilities inside are simple, they have everything you need. Except for the fact that there are no disposable daily necessities according to the regulations, the space is very large. The room on the third floor is really comfortable with the morning sunlight and fresh air! It also comes with breakfast for two guests, which is simple but clean and tidy, which is great!

Although it is on the roadside, the sound insulation is very good. The room is large and very comfortable. I didn't expect that I could make tea leisurely in the room. There is a free snack bar provided in a beautiful and comfortable environment. Super praise!

Location is short throw from nantou bus stop. Slight walking distance to 7-Eleven. Has hotpot restaurant at the hotel lobby. Good mountain scenic view from hotel. Only down side was that there are no road light outside. If wanna grab thing from 7-Eleven at night, hotel can lend a torchlight for u to walk there.

Have been to this property and it was an amazing stay for one night. Hotel looks are like European cottages made of wood. Rooms are also nice. Location is just 2 min walk to Swiss garden and really convenient as there is a 7eleven around and also shuttle bus stop. Cleanliness: Hotel rooms and the whole place is quite neet and clean. Service: Awesome, staff was really helpful with everything and they even allow us early checkin which was much appreciated as we were travelling with a 2 year old. Food: Nice breakfast and they even cooked some vegetarian food for lunch. Have happy hour where serve tea and snacks which will be enough for dinner. Overall this property is owned by The Old England Manor which is another best hotels in town and they maintain the same service here as well. This should be a 4 star hotel instead of 3 star.
