The hotel room is very comfortable, the floor is high, the view outside is also good, and there is a lake view around. When I went to Haimen Factory, I found this hotel for the first time. It had good reviews and I booked it to give it a try. The hygiene is indeed very good and the mattress is comfortable. When I walked in, the service guy handed me water, bowed, and greeted me with a smile. It felt good. The breakfast is rich for a budget hotel. The only drawback is that there is a farmer's wholesale market behind it, which is a bit noisy in the morning. Very good value for money.

Check the bathroom and indoor hygiene after check-in. Obvious urine stains were found on the toilet seat. Call the front desk immediately and ask to change rooms. The front desk said that there was no room available and they would not change it. Later, under strong request, he sent a police officer to come up for inspection. I found that the toilet was really dirty. Just changed the room. The service quality at the front desk is also poor. No more to say

The first time I came to Dieshiqiao, I saw that this rating was very good, I chose this one, the front desk clerk was very attentive, the room was cleaned and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep, the aunt was also very polite, and I had breakfast in the morning. The facilities are very complete. The room is much larger than expected and quite quiet. The gym is open 24 hours a day and you can enter by swiping your card. The breakfast is also very rich. I would like to praise the front desk staff. The service is very professional. If you have any questions, they are very enthusiastic to help you. They also informed me of the opening hours of breakfast and gym when I checked in. The takeaway was also delivered to me by robot in a timely manner đđť

CChrisHaven't been impressed with a hotel this cheap in years. Where do I start? Lots of shops and restaurants around. Newly built metro line with a station (Nantong University) within walking distance and as of the writing of this post free to use. Lobby was large and impressive. The in-room balcony was also beautiful, too bad it was too cold to really use it. The big windows gave nice views of Nantong University and I can only assume saves the company loads on energy consumption. The bed was softer than most Chinese mattresses so I slept great. The smart TV allowed me to cast videos from my phone. Robotic deliveries should be the law and this property had one. Some of the deliveries were slow, they could use at least one more robot butler. Although I didn't interact with the staff much they were great and actually seemed like they enjoyed working there.
The mirror is really cool but trying to sleep with that bright was impossible so I covered it up with some little stacked boxes. I couldn't figure out how to turn if off, other than removing the keycard. Wish this place allowed pets: the balcony, flooring, and cheap furniture would make this an ideal facility to stay with a furry bud.
This place is ranked #1 for Nantong on the app and I can see why: Whether you're a budget or luxury traveller, make a reservation here! Hope this is a chain and if I see one in my next destination that's where I'm staying

However, the hotel really doesn't cater to Western couples - it seems like everyone else staying in the hotel was a Chinese couple with young children. There was little information in the hotel about what the hotel had to offer, and there were a lot of things that were unavailable - the pool was closed, the two Western restaurants were closed, the bar was closed (and looked like it had never been open), and a lot of the eating places around the hotel were closed too. The hotel was very busy and noisy with all the families, and maintenance of the garden and outside areas of the hotel was not a priority at all - things were falling apart and they looked a mess. Having said all of this, it was nice to be able to walk on the beach and see the ocean. However, couples looking for a nice getaway where they can relax should look at going somewhere else.

MmeltemirocksI chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset!
Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

SSTEPHANIE MONIQUEThis hotel is the best in Nantong as far as service, views and food. Letâs start with the service. Upon arrival which was very late, we were greeted by the front desk staff. These ladies were so kind and helpful. They helped my husband and I get settled up and settled in. We were told all the different areas of the hotel including the beautiful pool. The next morning we arrived at the main building for breakfast. It was amazing the options that were available. Western style breakfast was provided. Even cold cereal. Chinese breakfast is also provided. The restaurant has amazing views of the grounds which you can enjoy while having breakfast , lunch or dinner. After breakfast we were given a tour of the upstairs area where you can see the entire hotel and then some. The service person who gave us the tour is a very nice man who also gave us a shuttle ride to the restaurant. Did I say that the staff is amazing? They are the best!!! Our room was upgraded and it has a tub in the bathroom. The views from our room was spectacular. We stayed in the villa suite. It has a living area and a separate bedroom. More than enough room for two people. The hotel is walking distance to Lang Shan mountain/ temple and a lovely park by the river. You can also rent a bike for a ride. The grounds remind me of suburbia USA. Loved it. You can walk forever in the beautiful naturalistic surroundings which include little brooks and ponds. Peaceful and surreal. The architecture of the villas are so beautiful. I felt at home. Our room also had a somewhat of a wrap around balcony to have your morning coffee on. I could on and on about this hotel but you should go see for yourself. You wonât be disappointed. We will definitely go back again and again.

JJazzaThis is not our first time staying at the island. Itâs also not our first time staying in a cabin. We keep coming back because of the fantastic service and friendly welcome inside the cabin. There is a fridge and a kettle. However, I do recommend bringing your own cutlery and crockery and cooking utensils if you plan to use the barbecue facilities. I also recommend that you take all the food that you wish to eat while youâre there with you as other than breakfast. There isnât much choice in terms of vendors other than some drinks and snacks. There are plenty of things to do each day, some of which will cost you money, some are free. My family, particularly enjoy the big rainbow slide and the play park, which welcomes you with two big red windmills and a very friendly staff member. Overall a fantastic little getaway and somewhere I would definitely recommend for those who are outdoorsy.

GGuest UserI came here on a business trip and randomly selected a B&B online. When I walked in, it was completely beyond my expectation. The room was very cozy and the owner was very nice. It is very convenient to the beach and the food street. I will book with the owner next time.
