The hotel is located at the foot of Zhongshan Scenic Area. The hotel is located on Junlin Zijin Commercial Street. The restaurants and restaurants downstairs are particularly rich in snacks. It is very close to Xiamafang subway station and has convenient transportation. It is suitable for travel and vacation food. Our family of three stayed in the largest family room in the hotel. , I felt very comfortable and it was a very happy trip to Nanjing.

It's okay. The hotel and the room are generally quite clean, and the sound insulation effect is also good. The nearby transportation is also very convenient. It's not far from the bus station and subway station. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is also nearby. The scenery is good, but the sheets and quilts are covered. I always feel a little wet, and the shower in the bathroom is not flowing smoothly. If you take a bath and wash your hair together, the water will easily flow out if it takes a little longer 😂 Also, you have to pay for the parking fee, which is capped at 18 yuan, although it is not much. , but I always feel a little disconnected in my heart😅

I booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

This economy hotel is very good. It seems that it has been renovated not long ago. The environment is clean, the facilities are complete, the room is spacious and bright, and the service is warm and thoughtful.

Hotel's location is perfect. You can go from hotel to Fuzimiao or turistic places by walk. Also hotel is clean and cheap. But there is one disadvantage. No window in the room

I loved my stay at this hostel🙌🏾 First time to stay in a hostel and was pretty anxious about it all. But when I got there, all of it went away. The staff helped me carry my luggage, they were are friendly, no check-in trouble just perfect. The place is so tidy and clean hence well managed. Cleaning staff is always active. The hostels are very clean too and comfortable, you will sleep well there. The environment is so vibrant and very good for being socializing others. The big thing I loved about here is the friendliness of everyone there, you socialize with new people everyday, play games like pingpong, billiards, card games and more. There are music instruments like a grand piano, guitar, small African drum and mics too to showcase your talents at the Karaoke Stage. There are cozy areas where you can chill too if you want some privacy. A bar is also located inside as well. Honestly I didn’t want to leave, I kept on extending my days there🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂 Just 2 downsides, it’s just a little difficult to locate since you expect to see Douyuan Youth Hostel but it’s themed Moreland Youth Hostel. Then it’s on the 3rd floor but the elevator doesn’t work. Hope these get fixed soon…

The hotel is close to Xuanwu Lake, and the MRT is close by. But other than that, the surrounding area seems rather quiet in terms of shopping and eateries. The hotel does have a well known chinese restaurant on the ground floor and you won't be disappointed with the fine offering there. Although the hotel is rather dated, it is well maintained and everything works well. Cleanliness was good and the staff were helpful. Buffet breakfast spread was good, although certain food sections could be improved - like better fried eggs ( I have seen better fried eggs at other hotel buffets) and offering cook on demand omelette. I would stay here again as I believe it is good value for money

During our stay, the front desk was very active in helping us answer questions and provide many practical travel suggestions, so that we can better experience the charm of Nanjing. Several front desk check-in procedures are efficient and professional, and they patiently answer every question we have. The main thing is that they respect us very much and can see that they are really serving. The room service is also excellent. The staff can tidy up the room for us in time and replenish the necessary items, so that our room is always clean and tidy. Geographical location: The hotel has a superior geographical location and convenient surrounding transportation. There is a subway station entrance of Line 1 within a 5-minute walk. Travel is convenient and fast, and many popular places can be reached directly. There is also Yiwu Small Commodity City near the hotel. That area is very lively and the things are delicious, which satisfies our desire to shop and taste food. In short, we are very satisfied with this accommodation experience. Next time we come to Nanjing, we will choose here again!
