The sanitation is OK. The bathroom and shower room are separated, but there is no place to put clothes. It is very inconvenient to wear clothes outside. The waiter does not take the customer's questions seriously and is perfunctory. When asked about the way to the Six Dynasties Museum, it is obviously nearby, but he gave the wrong way. It was a waste of a kilometer in the hot weather. The refrigerator is Oriental Leaves, and the drinking water is Jingtian purified water, which is different from other Atour hotels. It is convenient to wash clothes. Except for the location, it is a hotel with low cost performance.

The smart room was surprisingly worth it considering the price. At first glance the design concept is questionable but it kind of makes sense in an interesting way. Only downside is the shower glass;maybe some privacy glass should be added as well, not only couples will book the room. Service was perfect, location spot on. Overall it was worth it .

The hotel is quite nice. The room was quiet. The location is okay but it’s a little bit far from the metro. There’s a supermarket downstairs and a restaurant. The only issue was the staff were quite unhelpful. We were on the 26th floor and ordered delivery. They have a robot which delivers items to the rooms but they robot won’t take food or drinks. There are several staff members downstairs but nobody to take items upstairs in place of the robot. Staff seem quite lazy and ingenious. You can probably find better hotels with better trained and more competent staff.

Awesome location and extraordinary services!! Especially when we need to change the room from our first booking to second booking (with different family members so we have 3 different bookings), REN JUN DANIEL provided extraordinary services!! This hotel is the first Hilton (changed to Grand Metro now) in Nanjing, 10 minute from Zhong Shan Landmarks, close to every where. Although not brand new, but the services and location make up every thing. Buffet breakfast has all kinds of different style gourmet, and changing every day. Beautiful view from the window!

I loved my stay at this hostel🙌🏾 First time to stay in a hostel and was pretty anxious about it all. But when I got there, all of it went away. The staff helped me carry my luggage, they were are friendly, no check-in trouble just perfect. The place is so tidy and clean hence well managed. Cleaning staff is always active. The hostels are very clean too and comfortable, you will sleep well there. The environment is so vibrant and very good for being socializing others. The big thing I loved about here is the friendliness of everyone there, you socialize with new people everyday, play games like pingpong, billiards, card games and more. There are music instruments like a grand piano, guitar, small African drum and mics too to showcase your talents at the Karaoke Stage. There are cozy areas where you can chill too if you want some privacy. A bar is also located inside as well. Honestly I didn’t want to leave, I kept on extending my days there🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂 Just 2 downsides, it’s just a little difficult to locate since you expect to see Douyuan Youth Hostel but it’s themed Moreland Youth Hostel. Then it’s on the 3rd floor but the elevator doesn’t work. Hope these get fixed soon…

The hotel is a rather old-fashioned one, despite the room design, the staff were super duper nice and friendly. It would be better if the hotel can provide room service until midnight. There were not much meituan food choices after 1100, it would be great if the hotel can provide some refreshing room service food at night. On the other hand, we thought it would be an good idea if the hotel can use roborts to deliver the take aways ( meituan ) to the rooms. it was pretty cold and kinda insecure for customers to get down stairs and take their orders at the entrance. Lastly, we really wanna thanks the staff as we forgot to bring our cards down stairs, it was more than delighted when the staff arranged a supplemental card for us. In a forseable future, this hotel will always be my first priority when visitng Namjing.

Warm service, good location, quality toiletries and amenities, bright and comfortable room. I would give it a 6 star. GGuest UserLocation - good, nearby to Nanjing train station, but need to know how to walk to hotel, go to the right exit (i went wrong exit and had to walk on road for approx 15mins). Local train/subway at doorstep. Approx 1 hour to airport by taxi. Easy to get taxi on Didi (walk to main road next to convenience shop, then book taxi) Nearby F&B - has lots of small restaurants, and a Burger King within walking distance. Also has a couple of small convenience shops around. Service - excellent and friendly front desk staff. Gave me a free breakfast upon knowing that i booked room without breakfast :). Upon check in they served a small warm cup of lemon water. Upon check out, they offer a small bottle mineral water. Room - nice layout, sink is outside bathroom and open area. As per other reviews, the cleanliness is acceptable but not 100% (not for OCD people). Amenities - toothbrush, handsoap, body wash, shampoo, etc all available Drink availability - has kettle and some tea leaves to make tea Laundry - free washer and dryer on 3rd floor to DIY your laundry Security - key card entry into hotel floor, has a security on 1st floor. Breakfast - nice small spread of local food. Has also some limited international selection like toast & eggs, and fruits. Has coffee machine and can takeaway coffee. Overall, i would use this hotel for the location and their friendly staff as well as free laundry.

DDanielBest hotel in Nanjing! This is our second time at Central Hotel (we also stayed here back in 2019). Both of our stays have been fantastic. The hotel's location is great, it's only a few minutes walk to the Xinjiekou (新街口) metro station where you can then go straight to Mingxiaoling scenic area (明孝陵景区)and Mochouhu park (莫愁湖公园)via metro line 2 or Zhonghuamen Gate (中华门)and Fuzimiao (夫子庙)via metro line 1. You can also go to Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Area (南京牛首山文化旅游区) by taking metro line 1 to Tianlongsi metro station (天隆寺地铁站) and then take the 712 or 755 bus to the Niushoushan bus stop. The hotel's location in Xinjiekou also makes it a convenient spot to go shopping, as there are many malls and restaurants within walking distance. We also had a great experience with the hotel's service. The staff were all courteous and friendly. They were able to assist us with all our needs in a prompt and helpful manner. For example, we felt our AC wasn't strong enough, so we called the front desk (the AC works properly, it's just that we are used to cooler temperatures indoors when living in the United States). Ms. Meijuan Wang, the Housekeeping Supervisor, and a technician immediately assisted us and resolved our request. Ms. Meijuan Wang also sent us a very helpful brochure with all the best spots in Nanjing. Thanks to this, we learned about Fengfu Road (丰富路)and enjoyed a lot of delicious street food there. We also had breakfast in the hotel twice during our stay - we initially didn't book breakfast when reserving the room on Trip.com, but we gave it a try and found it quite nice and decided to have breakfast at the hotel again the following day. There's a variety of foods to choose from, and the breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet style with multiple Nanjing local cuisine. Overall, we loved our stay in this beautiful and well-maintained hotel and will definitely come back again!

ZZiyoufeixiangdeganjuezhenhaoAfter all, Golden Wheel Courtyard is still a brand of Marriott Group. The overall stay experience is still very comfortable, simple and clean. Before check-in, I was fortunate to have the administrative manager Shelia contact in advance to upgrade to an executive room. The experience of the executive floor is still good. There are executive light meals and executive lounges in the evening, which are plus points! The room is very comfortable, the bed is just the right hardness, the room space is still relatively large (forgot to take a photo), and the breakfast service is also good. Again, a small recommendation👍

EEric John GrahamStaying at the Jumeirah Nanjing is a ”must” experience for all travelers to the city. The hotel has a perfect location, being only 5min from the olympic stadium area and the Nanjing eye scenic area. The hotel staff are polite, friendly, and speak perfect english. The hotel rooms, whether city view or river view, are all sublime. Spacious room with spacious bathroom and complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge, the holiday feeling when you enter the room is immediate. The hotel has is home to a number of restaurants that offer a range of meals. Additionally, the hotel buffet is great (cost approx 350CNY) and includes a variety of meal options from seafood to steak to vegetarian options. I stay at this hotel once or twice per year and i thoroughly enjoy the stay each time.

WWONGEdwinOur trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June. 1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great. I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette. 2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by. 3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people. 4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' . 5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming. All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors. However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it. Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet. This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining. I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

PPatrickeblevinsMy wife and I are trying our best to have children but it has been very challenging. We needed a place close the hospital and decided to try Qingmu hotel because it was conveniently located and looked comfortable from the outside and had mostly positive reviews on trip.com. As a foreigner who speaks very little mandarin I was concerned about communication with the hotel staff. But I was pleasantly surprised with how efficiently they handled this problem. We were able to chat with help of WeChat and google translate. They also knew more English than I thought they would. Soon we were very friendly and found a productive way to communicate my needs and get the best room possible. They also helped with our travel bags and provided water and a snack. I felt very happy and comfortable with their services and they made this feel like a home more than a hotel stay. The room was very inviting and smelled freshly cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and my wife has had back pain but said that the bed was perfect for her. It was nice that they were able to store our medication in a temperature controlled fridge while we continued to work towards conception. We had a wonderful view of the city and the bathroom had essentials to aid in freshening up between sessions. The shower had hot water and a removable head and could fit two people. We had access to a microwave oven to warm our lunch and a laundry center to catch up on our travel clothing cleaning needs. The hotel is located close to the subway and is surrounded by many restaurants and other forms of entertainment. Staying here during the Chinese New Year you could feel the festivities all around you, with brightly colored decorations and music. The hotel was also pleasantly decorated with flowers in our rooms as well as in the lobby. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great stay, for an even better price, my wife and I will definitely return here. I attached some photos of my stay below.
