Nanjing Hotels with Bars

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

Great view from the room (28th F). Very satisfied with the stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. An only complaint would be the dinner menu a la carte which was disappointing.

The hotel is a rather old-fashioned one, despite the room design, the staff were super duper nice and friendly. It would be better if the hotel can provide room service until midnight. There were not much meituan food choices after 1100, it would be great if the hotel can provide some refreshing room service food at night. On the other hand, we thought it would be an good idea if the hotel can use roborts to deliver the take aways ( meituan ) to the rooms. it was pretty cold and kinda insecure for customers to get down stairs and take their orders at the entrance. Lastly, we really wanna thanks the staff as we forgot to bring our cards down stairs, it was more than delighted when the staff arranged a supplemental card for us. In a forseable future, this hotel will always be my first priority when visitng Namjing.

We really enjoyed live there. First we were little surprise that personal hosted manager introduce us every thing which might be interested to us. He is a very warm and kind person. When we asked him about a museum. He used his own break time to get all information we need. We highly recommend this RitzCarlton. The executive lounge is also great，food and view. Services were excellent.

Staying at the Jumeirah Nanjing is a ”must” experience for all travelers to the city. The hotel has a perfect location, being only 5min from the olympic stadium area and the Nanjing eye scenic area. The hotel staff are polite, friendly, and speak perfect english. The hotel rooms, whether city view or river view, are all sublime. Spacious room with spacious bathroom and complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge, the holiday feeling when you enter the room is immediate. The hotel has is home to a number of restaurants that offer a range of meals. Additionally, the hotel buffet is great (cost approx 350CNY) and includes a variety of meal options from seafood to steak to vegetarian options. I stay at this hotel once or twice per year and i thoroughly enjoy the stay each time.

Great location, just behind the Nanjing Eye Pedestrian Walk and Nanjing Olympic Museum. Transportation is also very convenient to get to the city center by bus or metro. The scenery around the hotel is spectacular during the day and night, kids enjoy their time here. This hotel is new and the best part was the room, my daughters love it so much!! When I checked out I got a gift for my daughter, a very cute teddy bear for her,😁. The front desk is also very good and fast to check in, 👍 Definitely will check in again next time..

I stay at this hotel every time I need to catch an early flight. This hotel is very conveniently located to both Terminal 1 and 2, either can be reached in just a few minutes of walking. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. I can't say much about the breakfast as I always leave to too early in the morning to enjoy, however the room service meals are quite good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very well located, near almost everything you want to do downtown. However, as it is near everything, get ready to be awake early by either the noise from the street or people in the corridor, as the walls are thin. The hotel's parking lot is big enough so that you will have no trouble parking your car. The receptionists are very kind, even though they do not speak any English. The TV turns on without reason from time to time, so you better unplug it. As you can see from the pictures, the shower is not the most comfortable, yet it is good enough for a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the room's cleanliness is fine.

Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel, judging from the environment, should also be a well-known old hotel. It covers a large area, the hotel's exterior environment is not bad, and the 20th floor has a wide view. The room is Chinese style, with complete basic facilities, clean and tidy, and the services are warm and thoughtful.

The worst check-in experience of this trip. Starting from the check-in in the lobby, there were three front desks for check-in. Guests queued up to wait. After the three front desks finished checking in, none of the three front desks took the initiative to prompt the next customer. Is it possible to handle it when there are other guests standing? Customers have to ask themselves! Unfortunately, I ran into a situation where my front desk clerk, who was the only one in front of me, finished handling the business piled up in front of her after all the 4, 5, and 6 people behind me had finished checking in. After checking in, I went upstairs to open the door. That was the beginning of my disappointment. The carpet was full of stains. There was a door to the room next door. Although the door was closed, it was really not soundproof. The children next door were very noisy! I took out my mobile phone and took a look. The Ctrip rating was 4.1, which was petrified. I decided to book it when I was feeling depressed. I thought it was a Sheraton, but it was at the level of a guest house! The Sheraton where I stayed in Hefei the day before yesterday was almost different from the feeling of several express hotels. The shock is not over yet. I take a shower at night and find that the shower head is fixed and cannot move. So no matter how strong you are, when the shower head turns on, you have nowhere to hide in the small shower room. Take a cold shower first! The standard of the room is not even three-star, and even if the children watch TV, it will be covered with snowflakes! In short, I will never stay at Nanjing Kingsley Sheraton again in this life! Also, can Ctrip recommend some reliable ones? After booking so many hotels, why can’t we make targeted recommendations based on customers’ preferences? Would you rank such a shabby hotel in the top 5 for me?
