The view is very good. We stayed on the 16th floor this time. The soundproofing is good and it is very quiet. The breakfast is average and you can eat it or not. The service is very good. I give a thumbs up to the front desk. When I left, I gave four big bags of things to compensate for the knock on the door in the middle of the night when the front desk wrote the wrong room number.

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

I took my kids on a winter vacation trip and used Nanchang as a transit point. I stayed a day to taste Jiangxi cuisine. There is also a place for children to play on the first floor. When I left, I was given a small gift. I will choose this place next time I come to Nanchang. Staying at the Royal Platinum Hotel is a good experience.

The room is also very spacious, especially the bathroom. I personally like a wider bathroom. It's a pity that I can't see Tengwang Pavilion in the booked city view family room☹️But the pet-friendly experience was realized when I checked in. I met 2 other families with dogs, and the room also prepared pet beds. A little bug: The socket design of the room is unreasonable. There are no sockets on both sides of the big bed. The small bed is close to the bar. There are a total of 5 sockets on the wall and the inside of the bar. The mobile phones of the family can only be charged here. It is too unfriendly for modern people who are used to charging their mobile phones before going to bed. The revolving restaurant on the top floor of the hotel has a rich variety of buffet breakfasts, and there are also some local characteristics, such as Nanchang mixed noodles and crock pot soup, but they are all average. The preserved egg and meatball soup was not obtained. I don’t know if it was not done well. The tableware was not standardized. The plates, chopsticks and spoons had various patterns and colors, and were mixed together. Some were broken and not exquisite. 💦 Tengwang Pavilion can be seen from the restaurant in the distance.
