Jungle Lore Birding Lodge

Birding Lodge and Jungle Lore truly lives up to its name. You wake up to the chirping of birds and nothing can be more peaceful than that. The lodge has been designed in such a way that preserves the natural habitat and the surroundings have many birds that one can enjoy either from the balcony or while taking a stroll in the lodge itself. There is a bird hide that one can sit to enjoy and photograph the birds . All the staff are very helpful and they make sure that one is comfortable . Food is very nice . One can take Kundan as a birders guide . He is knowledgeable and makes sure that your birding is satisfied. Overall a place that one must stay if visiting at Pangot Remember you only enjoy nature there . Mobile network is not there except Jio.. You do get a wifi to have your basic needs fulfilled .

Jungle Lore Birding Lodge is a welcoming and comforting place from which to explore the amazing birds of Pangot and surrounding areas. The staff are thoughtful and kind; the food fresh and delicious; the accommodation cosy; and above all, the location can't be beat. The lodge property itself is excellent for birding and admiring the forest. It is also in a prime location for accessing the broader area of Nainatal to view birds, mammals and incredible views of the Himalaya. Highly recommend!

Serene and quite place to wind down in the lap of nature and reserved forests. There are lots of birds as it is in the middle of a bird sanctuary. The place in itself is quite rustic with a very welcoming touch. Must visit if you like a slow life away from the city .

Waking up to the sound of colorful birds and falling asleep under a sky full of stars is an experience like no other at Jungle Lore Lodge. We have gone through Nainital many times but Pangot and India’s first birding lodge Jungle Lore was an excellent find. What not to love about this place - greenery all around, mist covered mountains, cute cottages - Cheer and Marten, lovely home-cooked meals and fantastic people! Jagjivan “Jaggi” the naturalist, Bhuwan the storyteller, Kundan, Telpalji, Mahesh the cook created an unforgettable experience - already planning to return as soon as we can!

Waking up to the chirping sound of birds is an amazing experience.We stayed here for 2 nights.Food is awesome.Staff are helpful and always try to make you feel comfortable with a smile.This place is serene and an absolute bliss.Being a birding enthusiast this is a must visit place full of greenery.One can see as many as 20 odd different species of birds just by roaming inside the lodge premises.Away from the hustle and bustle of city life this is a best place to spend weekend in the lap of mother nature.A special thanks to Mr Mahesh Rajpoot for guiding us nicely and make our stay comfortable.
