We traveled to Nagoya Sakae for five days, staying at Travelodge as a family of three—me, my wife, and our toddler.
We stayed on their Superior Queen Room, which is amply spaced for a Japanese hotel. Even with its small footprint, it was surprising that it has its own fridge, movable table for eating or work, and an ensuite toilet and bath. I also love that it has a window overlooking Mirai Tower.
It has a gym, laundromat, and a co-working space that's also used in the morning for buffet breakfast (optional). I love that all guests are given access to free soda and juice dispenser.
Location is also very good, about five-minute by foot to Nagoya Tower, and surrounded all around by convenience stores, restaurants, and bars—really vibrant during the weekends.
And if you're into walking, most of Nagoya's tourist spots is walkable from the hotel, including Nagoya Castle and the Science Museum.

We spended a night in a triple room, which was clean and queit, on the 12th floor. This was our second time staying here so we're pretty much getting around easily. The staff was helpful and allowed us to store our luggage before check-in time. The amenities were all you need plus iron and board stored in the hallway's wall. Breakfast starts at 7am and has variety of food. Recommend staying!!

The building is undeniably old, but the rooms and unit baths were clean and comfortable. Not only the amenities in the room, but also the shampoo bar, floss, cotton swab, emulsion lotion and so on at the front desk. I think women will be happy with welcome coffee. It's safe because disinfectant alcohol is installed in front of the entrance front elevator. I was able to spend a good time from check-in to check-out with a smile.

We stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier from May 17th to May 20th, 2024, in a moderate double room, and had a wonderful experience.
Location and Accessibility:
Perfectly located in central Nagoya, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transport.
Room:
The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough.
Service and Facilities:
The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded.
Overall Impression:
Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. It is located near Nagoya station. When we opted our room not to be cleaned, they provided with eye mask which is very thoughtful, apart from being sustainable. Overall a pleasant stay here.

small room but decent, got everything you need. High floor rooms make it worth more if you want to have a decent view. Great that it provides small disposable towels and bath salt for showering. Overall I am happy with my stay here. Ps as you probably know the Nagoya station is big. This is on the shingansen side so when you walk to the airport station it make take up to 10-15 minutes. But not much staircase to bear, so it’s all good.

[Impression] Overview In Nagoya, it is only a newly built luxury hotel for the first time in almost a quarter of a century, and the overall facilities are wonderful. Because I am a common person, I don't stay at luxury hotels in various places, so I don't know the evaluation of the obese person, but there was no scene that felt cheap during my stay. It is convinced even 50000 ～ per night. As a luxury hotel handled by a wedding vendor In particular, I honestly didn't expect this hotel because it was the first luxury hotel handled by a local wedding vendor called ”Love Group”. I think it is the perfection that betrays it. Since it is a member of Marriott, I think it is a hotel that was built after consulting firmly based on domestic and foreign trends. I think it is a Nagoya Castle or a tourist hotel in terms of history and formality, but it is not the best hotel in Nagoya in terms of luxury and high sensitivity. Also, because it is a hotel of a wedding company, wedding banquet facilities tend to be the main. However, I liked the fact that the hotel here was completely separated from the entrance of 1F from the guests, the wedding facilities and the conductor. It is difficult to see the drunken guests in the hotel lobby after the reception, and the guests may be able to stay quiet and calm. GGuest UserCompetitively priced, good quality, and convenient location. This hotel is a couple of streets away from the main Nagoya station with access to JR, Meitetsu, subway, an Aonami lines, which should cover most of the major sights and coming from/going to the airport. It is also very close to the pick up point for many day tours. One minor issue is that if you approach from one side of the hotel, its name sign is obscured by a tree, which could make finding it difficult the first time you visit. There is actually another Via Inn a couple of streets away and if you pop in to ask them where this hotel is, they will help show you the way. Hotel room is about standard size for Japanese business hotels and clean. Air con takes a little while to start up but is certainly adequate and much appreciated during the hot summer. Staff are friendly and efficient when checking in and out. They are happy for you to leave your luggage there after checking out as long as you pick it up the same day. Tea bags and drip coffee are complimentary, with self-serve refills on the ground floor. Ice machine is on the second floor as are four washing machines, although these are very popular and usually fully utilised with a queue of people waiting too. Guest mix is mainly mainland Chinese and Hong Kongers with the occasional Japanese. There are many places to eat in the surrounding streets, including izakayas, Korean BBQ, Chinese, and many Indian/Nepali places. The restaurants/pubs can be quite lively at night with people spilling into the streets to eat/drink/chat with their friends. In addition to the big malls above the JR station, there is a Bic Camera and 100 yen store down the street from the hotel, many convenience stores, and a 24-hour supermarket and drugstore a short walk away.

AAnonymous UserI personally appreciate the location, it was easier than any other options we had around Nagoya since we’re traveling with a young child. Smoking in all rooms is prohibited as well. I noticed it’s harder to look for this feature in hotels in Nagoya. I have my son in tow and this is an absolute NO for us. The room was really small. We can hardly walk around the room. It was extremely challenging to takeout and pack our things because we didn’t have any space to fully open our luggages. Though as mother, I’m glad their walls are thicker than most hotels in Japan. We’re not troubled with the noise from the next rooms. It gives me peace of mind too that we’re not disturbing other guests in case. The breakfast was enjoyable at Yoshinoya. The branch is a heart beat away. It’s way better than my experience at another hotel nearby. We enjoyed the many pillows they offer. In terms of cleanliness, this could be well improved. For Japanese hotels I think the situation at this hotel is lower. I could see the dusts hanging by the wall and the bathroom door. It’s not helping that I’m one of those people who observes these things. I appreciate that they allowed us to deposit our luggage when we left for another city and got it when we checked back in. Saved us so much trouble. I will still stay at this hotel.

Legoland is my favorite theme park because there isn't a queue or a crowd. That means you can totally enjoy the park and literally go on your favorite rides many times!
The staff at the park is super friendly and they make the rides, arcade games and shopping memorable. Apple fries is a must have! Breaded apple slices with cinnamon dipped in whipped cream is such a treat on a winter day.
Although the parks opening hours are 10am to 5pm, it's more than enough time to enjoy the park and even sit down for a meal or snack.
Lego Hotel is amazing with big rooms and theme amenities. There is a children makers park near by with glass, pottery and even an animal zoo for children to enjoy. Of course, there are many eateries- Korean, Kyoto beef Katsu, Ramen, ********* Bubble tea and shops. There is a beautiful night fountain with lights, song and movement to enjoy.
Highly recommend making the trip to Nagoya Legoland and staying at Legoland Hotel.

The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough.
My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome!
I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough!
I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel!
A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that.
Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s .
Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!!
If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own.
I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! A mom right at 60 years old out of her comfort zone from Alaska!

RRobThe room was just nice for one person. It was very clean and quiet, which were my top priorities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Amenities wise, I enjoyed the onsen. It was also closed to a variety of food options. I liked the restaurant across the small street from the hotel for the Misokatsu, a must try in Nagoya, as the sauce was rich and tastier. The subway entrance is also right around the corner.

Kkazmi777We stayed for one night on Monday, March. I chose this hotel with a high reputation for value in Nagoya as a place to stay on a business trip. I booked three weeks ago with an early discount of 14 days ago, but I couldn't cancel from the net after 14 days ago. I was surprised because this was the first time. It was troublesome to call and cancel directly, so I stayed as it was, but it might have been to prevent the price of accommodation from collapse. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Sakae Station of the subway. It is in the middle of downtown but there is no danger. There are many convenience stores and restaurants, and there is no inconvenience. The hotel is new and the room is clean and there is no problem at all. I don't say if I can cancel the hotel from the net, but I think it's a negative point that I can't cope with a sudden schedule change. I might stay if I have the next opportunity.

❄❄️baoxue❄️The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, and the facilities are relatively new. The only drawback is that it is a little far from the subway. The supermarket is also near the subway station, which takes about 5-8 minutes to walk. It is quite good to get a bottle of water at the front desk every day, and the breakfast is also good.

GGuest UserThe check-in desk was well staffed when I arrived & my lack of Japanese & decent IT skills wasn’t an issue.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the only thing I didn’t love about the design of the dormitory was the steps to the upper bunks - they prevented wheeled bags being pushed easily past them (for unpacking & repacking). In other capsule hotels, the steps are built in to the front of the capsules, the don’t lean against them and take up floor space.
On departure day (10 am check-out), I checked out at around 9.40 and made myself a Noodle Pot to eat at one of the tables opposite the desk, before leaving for an 11.06 Shinkansen. Nobody questioned this but all of the Japanese-speaking guests who checked out after me appeared to be told that they couldn’t stay, even for a coffee - they had to go and stand outside.
