I was happy with the breakfast and welcome drink.
It would be great if there was a large public bath for women as well.
However, I heard footsteps from above several times during the night, which was disappointing as I couldn't get a good night's sleep.

It's about a 40-minute walk from Nagano Station, so it's not that easy to get to. The smoking room smells pretty bad, so it might be tough for non-smokers. The hotel staff were very accommodating.

The large public bath is in a separate building, so it will be cold in the winter. There is a roof over the pedestrian walkway, though. If you book through the official website, it is the cheapest.
