Best Pet friendly Hotels in Nagahama

I chose Daiwa because of its location is by the lake location and not too far away from Kurokabe distance. Daiwa is famous for good price performance ratio, meaning not expensive room rate yet providing quality room and service. The hotel lobby is grand, and you pick up the bathroom amenities at lobby yourselves. Check in was smooth but you have to bring your own luggage to your room. The hotel charge you Yen 500 for parking per night but give you Yen 500 voucher in return which you can spend in the hotel, not a bad deal. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the Nagahama station for hotel guests if you are not driving. Even taking a taxi from the station to hotel is not more than 5 minutes. The station is just a few minutes walks to the famous Kurokabe Plaza and its surrounding waling streets. Yukata is available on each floor lobby where you pick your selection and size. We were allocated at the corner room which is very spacious, overlooking the lake and the pier, with windows on two sides, and therefore, very bright when the weather is sunny. We reserved a dinner in the booking with the hotel. The dinner is served in the function. It was a multi course dinner with various cooking method of Omi beef, including stew, hot pot and grill, plus a variety of other dishes such as sashimi. Server is very good and the staff are trying hard to communicate with us in English. The onsen on the ground floor is not very big, but the two nights we stayed are Friday and Saturday, so there were extremely many people. There is a souvenir shop which opens until 9pm, a bit early. After we checked out the hotel, we walked around the Nagahama Castle Park which is five minutes walk away from hotel. The castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the sixteen century but the current castle is a re-built. We dined at the hotel lobby tea lounge for lunch. But the meal was probably the worst meal I have ever had in Japan over the years. I think a tea should be fine with a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel, and the service quality makes an ideal choice when staying in Nagahama.

The original appearance of the old squat house is retained outside. When I walked in, I found that the decoration was not old-fashioned, elegant and exquisite. It was a Japanese-style old hotel with a very good aesthetic. The toilet and bathroom decoration is also modern, the equipment is new, very shocking, well maintained, even more than many Japanese business hotels I have stayed in. There is a small courtyard outside the Japanese-style room where I live, and there is no cave. The breakfast at the hotel is also quite rich, with a wide variety, many are also local ingredients in Wuhu, the taste is also good, it is highly recommended ～ The point is here! The host and hostess of Sangu Hotel is super warm and courteous! After learning that I am a foreigner, I also take care of it! When I went to Changbin Wharf and Datong Temple, the owner took the initiative to lead the way. On the way, he also introduced the famous things of Changbin. The male owner's hair was a bit white but full of vitality. He must be very fond of the customs of Changbin. Before leaving, the two shopkeepers also sent me a set of postcards for the Changbin Lushan Festival. What a lovely couple of people 😄 I was traveling alone and chose this hotel by mistake. I never thought it was the biggest surprise of this trip. I stayed in Nagahama for a short time. It was a day and a night, and the sky was not beautiful, and it was mostly raining. But fortunately, I met the Sangu Hotel, and the memory of Nagabin is the warmth of spring rain. On the day of the fireworks festival in August, all the inn within walking distance of Nagahama station was full and stayed here. Anyway, I think it is a hotel that is not suitable for sightseeing in the black wall district at least. The single room with double bed was renovated and large and comfortable, but when you pull out the key card, all power is out, so you can't keep the room cooled. Check out at 10 o'clock is also a business hotel. If you take a season fee, I would like you to remind me that you will take a shuttle bus to the station or at least when you go out, you will not be able to secure your return leg.

All rooms are equipped with open-air baths. The bath is large toward the lake and uses care when the ship is out, but there is an open feeling for the view. Heating is necessary but you can enter at any time. There was a yogibo cushion and massage chair in the room. The room meal was normal but delicious. The employees were also polite and comfortable. It is not bitten at the time when mosquitoes start to appear, but it may have been better to borrow mosquito incense at the inn. Generally, there is no gorgeous or luxurious such as Arima Onsen, but it is a good inn for Cospa if you think of a room with an open-air bath.
