Stayed at Osprey quite a few times during 2022 on business and decided to try elsewhere due to problems with rooms, staff and breakfast. WOW what a difference in 2024 the hotels process's, staff ‘customer’ interaction has had such a turn around it’s like a different hotel 😃 The hotel is much more family focused and there is attention to detail putting the customer/family first. The lovely checkin welcome, complimentary drinks vouchers to the children’s activity packs in the room was a great start. The main reason I’m writing this review is the lovely lady Moira (who is hotel staff) working hard during breakfast. I remembered Moira from the crazy mornings in 2022 how she handled peoples menu orders with such grace and professionalism. It was lovely to see her still here being part of a revolutionary change! Such a lovely lady so important for the younger working generation to learn from her. Thank you for such a lovely stay. Keep doing what you’re doing. The hospitality gig is not an easy one but when it’s done right it’s a great feeling for customers and staff. The vibe in the Osprey is excellent 👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love your Irish Hotel Awards .. congratulations especially The Family Hotel Award. Thank you The Heasley Family 🧑🧑🧒🧒

Very disappointed with our stay to the Osprey Hotel. We checked into our room & there was a leak in the ceiling. We were then moved to another room where the hotel staff added in a pull up bed. I rang reception again to complain as the rate of the room was expensive we were basically moved into another room with a pull up bed which was tiny and my son ended up sleeping on the floor. The room was also freezing and we were given a plug in heater to heat the room. We woke up Sunday morning to a freezing room. To be honest it's probably the worst hotel stay we have ever had. Very disappointed as we went away as a family for a midterm stay. Would not recommend to a friend or family to stay here.

My friend and I really enjoyed our recent stay in Osprey. Lovely spacious rooms. We were greeted with smiles from everyone. Big shout out to Moira and the girls in the breakfast room. Lovely lady. So helpful. Great leisure centre and pool. We will be back again.

Thumbs up to Fiona Doyle our swimming instructor. Fiona had great patience and enthusiasm and is a hands on coach. She demonstrated everything we needed to do which made it easier for us to learn We had great fun An overall enjoyable experience Thank you Fiona

Wonderful experience Room absolutely massive, comfortable beds, Big bathroom. Staff all lovely and attentive. Enjoyed treatments in the spa from Debbie and Paris. Very attentive and professional. Would highly recommend the hotel and spa.

Stayed here for 1 night. The room was fab and spacious and had a balcony. The only negative was the water fountain outside. The noise of it all evening and early morning wasnt too pleasant. We had a fab back, shoulder and neck massage and spent 30 mins in the sauna, steam room before it. I wouldnt recommend going here for the spa alone, would of liked an outdoor plunge pool. We had a main course as part of our package and it was lovely. We were notified early evening that our bedroom door was wide open and a member of staff closed it. When we went back up to our room at 9.20pm we found the door open again which was very strange. We notified staff who checked out the room . We were given no explanation as to what may have happened. We are still waiting on a phone call from the Manager, nearly a week later. Breakfast was lovely and fresh.

I regularly stay in this hotel for business trips. Really nice staff that always make me feel welcome especially Maura who services breakfast and is so kind and friendly. What an asses to the hotel and one of the main reasons I choose to stay in this hotel

Great reception and conference team. We are holding a number of training events in The Osprey and staying there. The service from Danielle in preparing the training rooms is exceptional. The star of the show though is Moira in the Restaurant, her personality and friendly banter with the guests is warm and welcoming. Thank you Moirai.
