"Unfortunately, the standard of this hotel has declined, as I've stayed there before and have something to compare it to. This time, I didn't like the following: - the quality of service; they might simply forget to clean the room and change the towels; - they forget to bring laundry without a reminder; - I had to ask for water in the room because they simply forgot to bring it. A separate issue, which unfortunately was also present before, is the quality of the breakfasts. By the time they open and until 7:30, most of the dishes are out of stock, the omelette leaves much to be desired, there are practically no dishes for Europeans, and those that are available are quite mediocre. They don't even have vegetables for breakfast; you can either get an omelette, baked beans, boiled eggs, or oatmeal (unfortunately, they can't cook it properly). It's sad."

"It was a good experience, the receptionist were kind, we had cloak rooms to keep our luggage even after the checkout time. Rooms & Swimming pool was very clean and maintained. Time taken to get the room was quick when compared to my past experiences in many 5 star hotels."

"What a beautiful building. Understand that this used to be a palace that has now been converted to a hotel. Absolutely mesmerizing and great for a day visit where you can take great photos. The breakfast and food quality were also decent -- so far, so good. However, the room was very unclean - the bed linens, curtains and bathroom looked dirty and stained. Insects were also profuse. The lighting was so low that it made the room look gloomy - think they should work on this. The bed mattress was so high that shorter people actually need a chair to slowly get onto the bed. In the bathroom, there was a "vintage" bathtub that was only for show and not to be used - which is OK, but wish they had cleaned it or covered it under some netting."
