It's a very large resort hotel, and no matter where you take a photo it looks great. I stayed in the lodge building, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very cozy, making it a great place to stay for a few nights. Parking is mainly indoors, so it's safe even in the snowy season. Just the entrance is exciting, but the moment the automatic doors open, the staircase that appears in front of you immediately draws you into the world of the hotel. The only downside to the lodge building is the distance you have to walk to the Arai building for meals and baths. You can just walk while enjoying the morning and evening scenery, but for some people it may feel far away. The Hoshizora Onsen is worth going to, even though it's far away. The large public bath is spacious, clean, and very nice. At night, the open-air bath with the starry sky spread out above you is the best. The spring quality isn't fantastic, but it's extremely comfortable. I've stayed in the Arai building before, and I recommend the lodge building! You can only experience the world of the hotel, its design, and its comfort in the lodge building.
