This motel is well kept, and tidy. We got a room a few doors down from the road, which is noisy. The sound came in via the back wall A/C unit and then from the front side as trucks when past. The place is old, but kept will considering the age. The sheets felt scratchy to my Wife, I have hairy legs so didn't notice. The people working there were nice and pleasant. The breakfast is a light continental type, I had coffee and yogurt, there were a few other choices but not a lot. A big concern I have is the possibility of peeping Tom's. When we pulled up we saw a fellow traveler, walk down a few doors and peep into a room via the door blind. He did knock on the door, so guess he just wondered why his friend didn't answer. When we were in our room, I peeked and could see out the blinds so someone could peek in easily even with the blinds closed. (see photo peeking out). The blinds are built into the door glass. The window curtain was thick and did block views. If I was traveling alone, I'd stay there again, but my Wife didn't like the traffic noise and scratchy sheets so we won't.

Excellent night away with hubby to see the town of Murray. Very nice motel. Clean quiet & safe. No bugs no mold no loud noise. Stayed in king in corner. Please keep the place in great shape like it is now. Convenient to every thing. Enjoyed the visit.

It's my first time writing a review, and we had such a delightful stay at Murray Inn and Art Gallery. After a day of volunteering at a high school, we were exhausted. Luckily, the hotel was exceptionally clean, providing a homely atmosphere. We opted not to dine out; the room's microwave allowed us to heat our own food, ensuring a peaceful and restful evening. The comfort level, as mentioned in some reviews, surpassed that of some chain hotels. The only drawback was being able to hear the TV from the adjacent room. Despite this, I highly recommend this hotel.

The motel definitely looks like it was built in the 1950s, an old style motel you don’t see much anymore. Check in went well, and I was given an actual key, which I obviously used to open the door to my room. When I opened the door I was surprised to find a beautiful ultra clean room. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and quiet. Definitely would stay again

We were so happy with our stay at the Murray Inn. It is old style but up to date. Charming and accessible and very clean. The managers are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the room was sweet. The shower was great!

So friendly, so clean and yes a cute retro style. Rooms are cute and hot water in the shower was instant. It was adorable and affordable as well. The staff are very welcoming and on point in every area.

I have stayed at Murray Inn and Art Gallery multiple times and will continue to stay there. It is not a fancy, nee hotel, but it is very clean, well maintained, great hot shower, breakfast included and locally owned and operated! The owners are excellent to work with and so very sweet! The last time I stayed in March 2023, due to the weather, there was a change in an athletic event we were scheduled to be at for the entire weekend. The day of the event there was a cancellation and a reschedule, and the owners worked with me to help accommodate what happened at the University, and ended up not charging me when I had to cancel one of the rooms last minute. I just stayed again in April 2023, and realized when I arrived home, a pair of my shoes did not end up in my bag. I called, and they immediately went to see if my shoes were still there, they were, and they agreed to hold them for me until my daughter could come over and pick them up. Again, locally owned and operated, great customer service and VERY reasonably price and clean!

Found this sweet place here on tripadvisor. I love vintage hotels and bathrooms and this one was amazing. We had a room with a Cinderella bathtub in a lovely shade of green!! The couple who owns this motel were so sweet and kind. Breakfast was simple but filling and you get to look at all the beautiful artwork. I will also say this, it is by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in!!
