This hotel is quite a way out of Munich but it was easy to get to a metro and train station (very short walk past some construction). We had lovely big clean rooms and the best breakfasts of our holiday here! There was so much choice and even a very nice lady making fresh omelette in the morning. All the staff were friendly but it did seem that they were out to get money where possible, for example, umbrellas had to be hired and having paid to park in the small car park as guests we then found that there was a special offer for all weekend parking used by locals meaning that it was almost impossible to park safely. If you want big rooms, a great breakfast and don't mind a commute into munich then this is ideal.

The booking was made from Trip.com but the reply from hotel was slow.
It took more than 10 days to change name of guest that was after many emails, many calls and also many trip.com chat support. ... . Hotel response was quicker than trip.com support which was surprising.
For hotel:
For the location its good as its near to the 3 groceries store such as netto- and bus stop is just in front of hotel. overall hotel staffs was good but need to improve the email support.
same for trip.com, as trip support was less in compare to hotel itself. They try but I think trip.com need to improve.

It’s very good, but enough issues to knock a star off. Lots of good things - very clean, modern room. Great shower. Good lighting. Comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast, with omelettes to order. Every sort of milk you could imagine (though except, oddly, we couldn’t find fresh - the one we thought was it was UHT!). Great gym on 14 floor. Internet lightning fast. The staff were friendly and gave you full attention when you were with them. Issues. Short staffed. On checkout, for example, only two staff, one of whom was on the phone … then the other could not get round an issue for a couple checking online, so had to be helped by the first. When a place is this swish, check in and out should be fast and slick. It wasn’t. Short staffed in the restaurant too: we’d booked a table but were ignored by the two staff who were covering the bar and the tables. A lot of tables and a long wait to be seated. Better training needed: at least greet and acknowledge the waiting guests. Restaurant food was ok. In the room: no access to the online hotel directory: reception didn’t really understand the problem and sent a spare remote up to us, then guessed maybe a software issue. No USB ports in the sockets, and none to loan (you could buy them apparently). (Tip: actually there there are two USB ports - on the back of the TV! They’re fiddly to reach but it can be done, and they charged a phone overnight).

Firstly my apologies for losing my notes with the names of the fantastic staff here, but many thanks to the amazing young lady from Kenya who checked us in! Really friendly, great sense of humour, absolutely perfect for front of house. The young lady from Italy along with the young guy who was in training, just a great laugh, all three were brilliant, you were made to feel welcome from minute one! The rooms were modern and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, tons of wardrobe space. Great bathroom, well stocked, great walk-in shower! Breakfast was plentiful and top notch! You couldn’t fault it! Nice hotel bar where they’ll make you a great ‘Old Fashioned’ and you can sit and watch the world go by in comfort! The hotel is a two minute walk from a beautiful woodland park with a beer garden, some really nice restaurants around. Local transport stops outside or it’s a €25 euro cab ride to the main attractions. We ere really impressed with Munich, we only came here for the Springsteen concert but it’s a city we’ll return to and when we do, this hotel will be our first stop. Perfect! The staff make the place, thank you all!

Stayed here with my family (2 sons, 11 and 13.) The hotel was very kid friendly- my kids were greeted and they had a play area (with a video game) and a few games for the room. The location was great- about a 5 min walk to the Deutsches Museum and about 15 walk to Marienplatz, but seemed to be off the beaten tourist path. The area felt very safe, and there was a small mall next door that had 2 grocery stores in it (great for simple meals!). It also had a subway stop (Rosenheimer Platz), where all the main lines stopped. The room itself was great. My kids enjoyed the free minibar (but I was told this was being discontinued.) The pool was nice- the kids loved it! It is smaller than it looks in the pictures and was too cold for me. The bathroom was nice- the toilet is separate from the shower/sink/tub area. The sink area had the best lighting of any hotel bathroom I've ever stayed in. Plenty of hot water, and my kids were amused that there was a TV speaker in the shower area. If we return to Munich, we would definitely stay here again!

We booked an executive suite, which was a decent size. It was two interconnected rooms (with two bathrooms). We added a bed in the living room as requested, but we charged an extra bed fee. The room facilities were old, but the maintenance was OK. The air conditioner switch was a very old dial. Noise and bathroom drainage were no problem. Clean.
There were quite a lot of breakfast items, and there were some automatic machines, such as automatic pancake making, jam squeezing and chocolate sauce making, which were quite fun. They also provided food from various countries, processco sparkling wine and other drinks.
However, the bad thing was that the service was really not up to this standard. There was no luggage, and the attitude of the front desk was also average. The first time I made a key, I didn't get permission to go to the executive floor. The child had a birthday during the stay, but there was no expression. Don't expect too much.
The meals on the executive floor were average, and the drinks were beer and a kind of German red and white wine. The swimming pool and gym were relatively small.
As for the location, it is far from the city center, about 15 minutes by tram, which is quite convenient. You can play around if you buy a one-day ticket. There is a British park and a large forest next to it where you can take a stroll.

GGuest UserThe hotel has all that you need for comfort as a tourist. You are only a block away from the Munich Hbf so walking to the hotel with luggage was no problem. Proximity to the train station was essential for me since I used Munich as base while taking several train trips. The front desk staff is helpful and made it easy for someone who speaks very poor German. The rooms are sizeable by European standards and very comfortable. Fitness center was acceptable. You are about 4-5 long city blocks away from getting to Neuhauser Street and main shopping district (about another 3 blocks to Marienplatz) so if you mind the walking then maybe not the place for you, but I had no problem with it. Several restaurants within close walking distance (albeit not fine dining) and an Aldi's next door. One one hand nice to see a very diverse area in the immediate neighborhood, but also some sketch figures, but encountered no real problems (albeit a few odd visuals that I will not share). The breakfast was very good and I generally at eenough that lunch was not even a need or a consideration. Overall, well worth it.
GGuest UserHotel is located a bit away from marienplatz and the downtown shopping area . It isn”t a problem because public transportation is at your front door . taxis and the train station are near by . The hotel staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived . Pia and Jan in the restaurant took excellent care of us at dinner ,food was tasty and nicely presented . The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with a good selection to get your day started . Our room was clean , well maintained and quiet . Would definety stay again if we return to Munich . Thanks for a great stay !
My stay at the hotel was greatly affected by the Afro-American receptionist who worked from morning till afternoon on 29 May. I booked the most expensive Signature room and paid 150 EURO/night. I arrived at the hotel around 11.50am, the room was free, as were many other Signature rooms in the hotel. But the lady at the reception told me I had to pay 20 EURO if I wanted to go to the room now. Considering that many rooms, including mine, were free and I was paying a lot of money for one night, I expected better service and the ability to check in earlier. The room itself was extremely noisy due to construction work going on in the building next door. The table, the chair, the room itself literally vibrated a lot, I felt it physically and it was a very uncomfortable feeling. I went to the reception and asked the same lady to change the room. After 25 minutes of waiting (!) she gave me room 601, which faced the construction site. I thought the lady was pulling my leg. I went back to reception, waited 10 minutes for the receptionist to finish her casual conversation with a colleague and informed her that this room was much worse than the previous one (605). She said there was nothing she could do for me. I kept asking her about other rooms on the floor and asked her to give me room 609, for example. She said it was reserved for a ”special guest” who had not yet arrived. I did not know what to say. This lady showed zero willingness to help, zero knowledge of conflict management and simply does not understand that her job as a receptionist is to make sure guests are happy. Why do you put people on reception who have no basic knowledge of hospitality? So I stayed in the same room. Then my room card did not work. I had to go back to reception. I waited more than 20 minutes for the lady to give me another card. For 20 minutes she was looking for someone at the computer and only when I asked her ”How long do I have to wait” did she give me the card. Perhaps she is doing this on purpose because I do not believe that she cannot use the computer and that it takes her 25 minutes to change the room card. In general, this receptionist is extremely slow. The room should be cleaned better: there were lips from other guests on the cups. There were no slippers in the room. The food in the restaurant Casa da Nina was not good: for a pizza for 15 euros it is not acceptable to use cheap pizza dough from the supermarket. And that is exactly what was done in the restaurant. In general, I will not stay in this hotel again and I will not recommend it to colleagues or friends. P.S. The room should have been 40 sqm. It was much less than 40 sqm.
GGuest UserThis hotel was one of the best we have stayed at. We loved the room. Ours came with a little kitchen area. We felt like we were staying in a modern episode of “tiny house”. The lobby area is large and inviting. We were meet by a friendly and accommodating staff who meet all our our needs. Wonderful stay!
GGuest UserAnother Aweseome stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Munich. Loved just everything here. Have been here before. Stayed with the family for three nights before our vacation flight to explore the city. Staff is wonderfull, especially with kids. Everyone was so welcoming. Room was nice and tidy, spacious and equipped with everything you needed. We could even prepare small dishes for our Baby Boy. We will definitely be back soon.
白白色的玉石Hear me out: this hotel has THE BEST - meaning most professional - service I have ever encountered in any hotel - and I say it from my experience from staying at 4-5 stars hotels as a general rule.
Regarding service:
- ALWAYS replying to every email (unfortunately letters sometimes land in a spam folder, a little flaw)
- 24/7 there’s always someone at the reception ready to assist (mind it’s not a branded hotel, but a family-owned business), making sure that there aren’t any unsolved problems or unsatisfied needs
- all website-provided informations are up to date
- there’s a shuttle bus from a train station for guests (till 5pm)
- staff is perfectly trained and experienced. There’s never any personal attitude, just a smile and clear communication. Of course speaking well English.
- Bonus: I arrived quite before check-in hours and checked out a bit late too; didn’t have to say a word and no word was said (or called). Even got an advise how to efficiently manage my luggage for my next trip.
Location: a bit far from train & metro stations.
Amenities: a very big swimming pool! And a sauna, and a gym. Downside is that those amenities are in a neighbouring building, so if you’re still wearing your swimming suit, you need to walk on a pedestrian path for two minutes like this. It feels weird. But there are lockets, showers and fresh towels too, if you prefer to change your clothes first.
Concluding: best combination of price, location, fun, and quality.
Had a most enjoyable stay at the Drei Löwen in Munich Location is absolutely excellent at the hauptbanhof with ease of access to all U and S bahn . Great team of staff at reception that were very helpful Raymonda was very professional and helpful in the way she dealt with customers. Ben was exceptional in the way he followed up and dealt with any queries we had Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a great choice particularly the omelet made by the chef to your taste in front of you Overall this is a fantastic hotel as its location lends itself so well to exploring Munich the Marianplatz is just a leisurely walk from it Well done to all at the hotel .
GGuest UserThis hostel is awesome. The staff are really helpful and accommodating. We came a few hours before the check in time (1500 hrs) and we were greeted, checked in and shown somewhere to securely leave our luggage while they prepared our rooms. The room itself (ours was a 10 person) is clean, with clean sheets and a very clean en-suite bathroom/shower. The rooms have air conditioning, however it was very warm at the time of our visit so I think it was struggling. Nonetheless the room felt homely and has a locker to put your valuables/clothes in (like a football locker). The breakfast is a continental breakfast priced at €8. There are many meats and cheeses along with: cereal, bread, fruit, yoghurt, juices, coffee and scrambled eggs. The breakfast is a buffet so you can really make the most of it for €8 per person. The bar area itself is very nicely decorated, and run by very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hostel to everyone. Wether you’re looking to chill out or party this hostel has everything. Would like to say a huge thanks to Kimom and Giorgos in particular. They made our visit extremely fun and provided many suggestions as to where we should go/ avoid. I have no doubts the rest of the staff are the same, but these guys made it extra special. Thanks dudes!
YYukiI have to say that this full 5 stars is for the Ctrip specialist. Our Chinese App is much better than the European one in terms of service, quality and convenience.
The room is not big, the bathroom is especially small, and the service is so-so. It is 6 minutes away from the subway station. There is a McDonald's opposite. I ate there for a few days. It is 3 stops away from the Allianz Arena and about 10 stops away from Maria Square. It is quite convenient. There is bus No. 177 when going out.
The front desk service is indifferent and is not very helpful to people who don't speak English.
would give a zero if I could. Currently in the reception with nowhere to go, where we've been for well over two and a half hours. Our rooms (which were paid for through ******* in October, and have twice had written confirmation) have been given to other people. The receptionist says he can do nothing without authorisation from the Manager, who won't answer her phone. He's refused to do anything to assist. He is now going to lock up and leave is in reception with nowhere to sleep. Took 15 hours to get here from Heathrow today, and this is how it's ended up. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. Update: Reception found us rooms in a sister hotel at 12:15am. Only 200 hundred yards away, but surely these had been available since we'd arrived in Munich? Room was ok and were still able to have breakfast, which was fine enough. Manager of the Belle Blue was apologetic and gave us a suite for the rest of our stay, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a shower room and lounge with kitchen area. It was sparse but nice. Breakfast each morning was quite good for continental and the staff were friendly and always cleaning. As people have said before, the area isn't the nicest but it's not a big deal. It's not far to the Underground and bus station, and there is a fabulous microbrewery/restaurant next door. I would consider going again.
