I booked from Italy through trip.com.
Three days before departure, our youngest daughter's trip - 12 years old - was canceled and we decided to take the little girl with us to Munich.
I sent countless messages with the hotel's automatic chat, but no response.
I then sent 2 emails to their direct email address and one through the trip.com portal. Very little response, despite the urgency of the communication.
I had them call directly from Germany because I don't speak German: no contact and no answer.
Finally, a friend of mine asked her son who lives in Munich to come by the hotel to talk to the reception staff.
One guy admitted their mistake and changed the reservation to add an extra bed.
Well aware of the total indifference shown, he decided to make a small upgrade, not charging for the extra bed.
No communication was sent in this regard.
We bought plane tickets for our daughter and showed up at the hotel in Munich on trust.
Upon our arrival they made us pay for an extra bed even though the person with whom they had made the arrangements was present!
There was an extra bed. We asked for towels which had been forgotten.
Nice and comfortable structure.
However, being totally ignored and the terrible treatment upon arrival do not allow us to give positive ratings to the entire service.
