Rocky Mountain National Park, Indian Peaks Mountains on the Continental Divide, and Fourth of July trail near Eldora are a short drive.The home is 45 miles, (approx. 1 hour) from the Denver Airport. Fifteen minutes to Boulder or Nederland for shopping and restaurants. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park is 45 miles away (about 1 hour 15 minutes) via the Peak-to-Peak highway, which is a beautiful drive.You may use the herb garden with Chives, Sage, Mint, Thyme, Lavender and Hops as well as a rhubarb patch.Other things to note:To reach our panoramic views, you must navigate dirt road to a short steep mountain driveway section. To avoid wildfire risk: NO Smoking, NO outdoor campfires, NO target practice, NO hunting, and NO fireworks. All above are prohibited on the property. No pets allowed violations a fee of $500 plus for deep cleaning due to allergies in addition to $40 a day of reservation.In the summer, up at the house outside temperatures can be 10 degrees cooler than in Boulder. The skylight has a screen and is operational to open and bring cool air in and release heat.
