"The hotel facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The shower water was nice and hot. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a fantastic 180-degree panoramic view. The lobby downstairs is spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping us plan our itinerary right from when we booked the room. She advised us on how to avoid wasting time traveling between the two villages on the scenic bus and even booked our bus tickets back to Guilin for the next day. After checking out, she kindly drove us to the parking lot. The rice noodles for breakfast and the bamboo chicken and rice for dinner were delicious, and we even received complimentary glutinous rice wine. Highly recommended!"

"The location of this hotel is simply magical, right in the heart of the Longji rice fields. However, the language barrier was a real challenge. Even with a translator, communication was often limited to “hello” and “yes,” which made it difficult to organize activities or transportation. The included breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and very generous. As for the skylight in the room, which was supposed to offer a view of the sky, it acts like a mirror in the evening... too bad!"

"Excellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists."

"Our log cabin was incredibly comfortable, nestled halfway up the mountain and conveniently close to Viewing Platform #2. Our room even had a small balcony, and there's also a communal viewing deck on the ground floor offering truly stunning views. The owner was wonderfully hospitable, providing enthusiastic pick-up and drop-off service. And the meals were absolutely delicious!"

"The room was spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. The balcony offered a beautiful, expansive view of the terraced fields. Breakfast was included, and we just needed to arrange lunch and dinner with the owner. They also provided shuttle service up and down the mountain, which was incredibly convenient. The service was warm and attentive. I had to go up and down the mountain several times for personal matters, and the owner was always very enthusiastic about driving me and offering assistance. Truly commendable!"

"Location: The hotel is situated in Jinfoding, one of the highest areas, very close to Observation Deck No. 3. My dad and I went to watch the sunrise early in the morning, and it only took a few minutes to get there. Rooms: We were traveling with family, including children and seniors, so we booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, which perfectly met our needs and made it easy to care for everyone. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and featured floor-to-ceiling windows with direct views of the terraced fields – the scenery was excellent. There was even an automatic mahjong table in the room, haha. Public Areas: The hotel has a new Chinese-style design, which is very tasteful. The first floor houses the restaurant and lobby, and the outdoor viewing platform is quite unique. Service: The owner was warm and hospitable. They contacted us multiple times via WeChat in advance to arrange pick-up and drop-off. Since it was the National Day holiday, there were many tourists going up the mountain. We drove ourselves and parked at the Dazhai car park, and the owner came down to pick us up. It was already quite late, so we pre-ordered our food on the way, and it was ready to eat as soon as we arrived at the hotel. The ingredients were excellent, and I particularly recommend the scrambled eggs – my child absolutely loved them. The owner also gave us some homemade rice wine. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and they took great care of our family, especially the children and seniors. Many thanks. Overall: Five-star review. "Our arrival to the village was a bit difficult and we might have been a tad grumpy after having to climb up 20minutes vertically from the bus stop to the hotel with our 2 heavy suitcases, but immediately upon arrival our mood took a 360 shift. The owner was super friendly and told us that he even tried to reach us to pick us up by car but couldn’t due to our international number. We then got a room upgrade and he showed us where we can head out to see the first sights. We originally planned to stay only 1 night, but ended up loving our stay so much that we stayed an extra evening. We had a very nice European breakfast on the hotel’s beautiful view and made friends with the local cat. All the hikes and cultural experiences around were amazing, we especially liked the Dazhai-Ping’an hike, with so many amazing sights and views along the road. Was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days in our 3 week trip in south China. At the end of our stay the owner drove us down to the bus. We would absolutely love to come back and spend a full week here in any other season."

"Very satisfied with the stay, everyone in the store is very friendly and welcoming. The boss is also very good to help with the luggage. The food in the store is delicious. I also gave a rice wine. I asked for a few pots. The room health environment is also in place. The scenery is also good. The whole body is very good. The comfortable location is also very close to the observation deck. When I left, I also sent a souvenir. Everyone can rest assured!"

"This place is probably as deep into Longji as you can get. We arrived on a rainy day, and the mountain paths were muddy and difficult to navigate. Luckily, the owner was incredibly helpful and even drove us up and down the steepest, most challenging part of the trail – really appreciate that! Our room had a tatami mat and floor-to-ceiling windows that looked directly onto the terraced fields. It was a shame it was so foggy and cloudy, I could only imagine the view."

"Our stay at Yundu Panjing Mountain House was absolutely incredible 🤍 The place is stunning, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces, truly a magical setting where you feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. The hospitality was exceptional. The team took such great care of us throughout our stay. They even helped us buy local rice directly from villagers and surprised us with lovely farewell gifts. Their kindness and attention to detail really made the experience special 🥹 The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the village. Waking up here surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views is unforgettable. And of course, a special shoutout to Bobo, the hotel’s mascot 🐶 the sweetest and friendliest dog, who made our stay even warmer and more enjoyable!
