Hotels Near Shorebird Egret Rookery in Mountain View

Hotel exceeded expectations overall. Some of the reviews on TA scared me but it seems like they might be for a different hotel or old hotel. Everything in this hotel felt new fresh and clean. Quick check in. Prior to stay called for info about the one bedroom suite with king since there's very little info and only one photo posted. Person who answered had never seen it and wasn't able to describe. Took a chance and was delighted. From what I've gathered it's similar to the VIP suite but doesn't have a balcony or windows that open. Also it said separate parlor but not sure what that actually means. There's a separate bedroom and living room and the living room includes a dining table with four chairs. The setup was great for my wife and I to work but when we both had meetings one of us had to go to the bedroom which doesn't have any kind of desk. Grocery store, starbucks, and Mendocino farms all quick walk in the same shopping center. Paid $15 a night self parking in the parking garage but seemed like I could've just parked for free on the street. Small pool with lounges and seating and large hot tub but no drinks/food offered at pool.

This is the worst of my experience in any of the properties by Marriott so far. I made a corporate booking and stayed here for 7 days. Here is some feedback on the extremely arrogant and weird staff from this hotel ... 1) When I reached for check in, I waited in the queue for 30 minuets along with 3 more members and the staff responsible for providing keys was roaming here and there with his mobile carelessly for 30 mins. 2) There were a total 2 towels in the room and kitchen was not properly cleaned. The room was not properly checked and a heavy noise was coming from AC entire night , due to which I can't sleep. It took them 2 nights to fix the issue. 3) WORST ONE -- I selected the hotel as there was kitchen in the room , so that I can prepare my dinner. But for 7 consecutive days those arrogant staff didn't provided any room service including cleaning of kitchen utensils ,trash removal, or new towels. I went to front desk and complained 3 times in 7 days but those shameless and weird staff tried raising their hands and kept on cross questioning me with stupid questions like-- when did u came, whom u complained for room cleaning, why can't u ask the people cleaning rooms to clean ur room etc etc .. I talked to the workers who used to clean rooms, they told my room number is excluded from their list for any kind of servicing. I talked to the staff in hotel again but those shameless people seating in front desk hardly did anything. (thinking no one is supervising them and no one can can force them to do any work.) The person said they provide room service once in 2 days so wait for next day , but nothing happened in next day also. The guests in hotel are getting treated on the basis of their race... Finally I gave up and ordered all my dinners from Uber Eats for 7 days , as no-one came to clean the kitchen.. Finally trash in the kitchen started smelling badly in entire room. 4) Free Breakfast: they have minimal items on the name of breakfast, and they don't have any information on ingredients of the breakfast along with any allergic information. I questioned about couple of items asking do they have egg , and duffers reacted saying we don't know ... I requested front desk to add information on ingredients and allergy, but as usual they made fun of me and said we don't have any such provisions, if you have issues don't eat them. We go to Palo Alto regularly for visits to Stanford and typically stay in one of the chain hotels. Thought we’d change it up and stay somewhere different. Dinah’s filled the bill! So cute! It’s an older hotel, but that just adds to the charm! We stayed in a deluxe garden room. The room was huge and had the most quaint little patio. It was so calming to hear the water outside and to see the koi and ducks. The room was clean and had all of the standard amenities. And, bonus, we were able to bring our dog! They even have a cute little dog park on the premises! We will definitely stay there again!

I chose this hotel specifically because of the fireplace, which was advertised as a key feature of the room. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the fireplace didn't work. I checked in late, and the staff wasn't able to resolve the issue, possibly due to the late hour. While I understand that things can go wrong, it was disappointing that the main reason I chose this hotel was unavailable and that there wasn't any effort to make up for it. Overall, my experience was less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Checked in about 13.30 the young guy at the front desk said our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm, we was cool with that. About half an hour later he said our rooms was ready. Got our keys went to the room which was right round the back the room was dark dinghy and smelly. Went bk to the front desk and said we was not happy with our room, we would like to change to a room at the front and not the back he said ok but we would have to wait, we was cool with that. Got our second room which was still dark dinghy and smelly and round the back. Went bk to the front desk I said to I noticed WHITE PEOPLE checking in after us getting rooms at the front. Finally got our 3 room which was not much better the dirt on the coat rack was disgusting the TV remote was full of dirt. Hotel like theses should be closed down. DO NOT STAY HERE

We went to see the 49 ers preseason game and my husband booked this room. Although we checked in pretty late and when we got to our room there were two ants in the bathroom by the shower tub, I told my husband and he said babe let’s go get something to eat so we left and went to get pizza and wings, when we got back we were eating and went took a shower fell asleep. My husband woke up at 6 am a turn the light on and wakes me up to tell me that the table is covered in ants and our food and clothes omg I was so pist off and called down to the front desk the lady said her manager was not there and to call back Monday. My husband was taking a shower and I told hi. He went down stairs to the front desk and told the lady about our room being infested with ants , she basically told him manger was not there so he got pist and told the lady look your telling me i have to wait in the room that’s infested with ants until 12 noon I don’t think so, she gave him a different room and said we’ll you’ll have to talk to the manager on Monday he said she was rude . We were able to get a different room and went to eat breakfast which was excellent and after that we went swimming in the pool it was very nice .overall, the hotels is a very nice quiet place we will definitely stay there again , but we will talk to the manager about our situation

The hotel is great, the rooms are big, but the location is a bit remote. Suitable for couples traveling. All the toiletries in the room are from le labo, the experience is very good. It can be delivered right away if you ask for a microwave in the middle of the night, very good service.

Overall, I am very impressed. The room and bathroom were excellent and very clean. Staff were very courteous. Only negative experience was with the TV. I did not get Chromecast working on my iPhone and gave up after a few minutes of trying. Yes, I plan to stay here again next time.

I have to say The Good Nite Inn-Redwood City was an unexpected pleasurable hotel. I had booked a room for 4 nights in Burlingame, with my debit card. After a long day, & long drive we arrive only to be told there having sum issues. And we cannot check in. Mind you, it's the day before fourth of July . So we spend next hour trying to find an available room . Call after call gets us nowhere, and I am starting to panic. Then I call the good nite inn , & speak with Renee. She says she thinks there may be a c9ôancellation. She returns to phone call and tells me yes, there , is. She hears the panic & desperation in my voice. So she asks me how fast I can get there. Telling me just to relax & just get there . Needless to say .....she turned my whole bad day around into a beautiful. Holiday. Thank you soo much

A great hotel check-up, super classic and elegant, with the feeling of a royal residence, the room is spacious, comfortable and quiet, and you can see squirrels and hummingbirds at any time. Although the hotel itself is not big, the surrounding environment is also a peaceful rural feeling like a fairy tale cottage. The hotel is on the side of the highway, but it’s not noisy at all, and there is no sound at all. I went to the airport after staying for one night. I went to San Francisco International Airport for half an hour. . Comparing the smallness of British and Japanese hotels, I strongly recommend this large and beautiful hotel.
