Great hotel

Worst hotel experience ever, frankly my dear this management really doesn’t give a damn about you. From the moment of entry, the front desk clerk immediately started telling me that there were no handicap rooms even though I had reserved one well in advance and paid for it. She stated if she gave me a handicap room, it would take it away from someone who really needed it. My husband really needed it! She began dropping the F bomb and got on her cell phone. I was shocked to be treated in such an unprofessional manner!! After finally getting in a room, It was extremely substandard. There was a bathtub which my husband could not get into and a crack across the window with no window coverings that worked they were broken. A bright light shined into the room all night. The barn door to the bathroom did not shut. We immediately checked out the next morning. My husband has now sadly died, and that was the last Christmas we were able to spend time together. He was so frustrated from no sleep that he left and went back home since he couldn’t shower. I asked that the manager contact me and months later she never has even though corporate has sent numerous emails requesting her to call me. She really could care less and if I were you I’d go anywhere but this hotel it’s obvious they really don’t give a damn about anybody if you have a problem especially if you are handicapped. Look up the number of complaints made to the better business bureau with no response!!

BEWARE OF BED BUGS!! My husband woke up with over 50 bites on his legs. He checked the sheets and saw the bed bugs. The manager moved him to another room and never gave him the incident report he requested. I am still trying to get a refund since the manager will not call me back. When I called they either say she isn’t available, don’t answer the phone or hang up on me. Avoid this hotel!!!

We have been visiting our son and family for 10 years and staying at this hotel 2-3 times a year… we are no longer doing so. 1) we were unable to park our car due to trucks carrying machinery, moving trucks, and 18 wheelers taking up 35-40 spaces forcing us to park in an unlit road. When asking the staff why this was allowed, we got a lot of blank stares, and were told they shouldn’t park there but…. 2) we walked to our first floor room and were greeted with a damp, musty smell… this is after having turned the air on 6 hours earlier when we first checked in. 3) The bed was not really made well, so my wife pulled the sheets back and found a bunch of hair on the sheets. This is in addition to coffee (we think) having been spilled on the floor and nobody really mopped it up… at this point I called the front desk, asked if they had done anything to allow us to park in the parking lot. I was greeted with an attitude, which was fine because we told them we were checking out …. So at 12 midnight we went to the courtyard by Marriott and parked our car, had a comfortable bedroom and clean sheets… We have noticed a decline over the last few years but this adventure will end our stay at this Hotel. Never Again.

In town for a baseball tournament and had rooms blocked off for us, supposedly. After 20 minutes of searching her computer she found us. Room was very moldy smelling. We had to run very cold air constantly to keep smell from being too strong! For 2 hours at the pool we tried to get towels and last time we asked they said we couldn’t have any because people were taking them to the beach. So, I used a room towel, which there were only 2 to start with. A family in our group was locked out of their room for 4 hours! Were told lock needed replaced and had to wait on someone.

The staff was awesome! They were so helpful. I had four small kids with me and I would definitely do it again! The continental breakfast was excellent!

I arrived early and they let me check in without any problems. The entire location was clean and stocked with coffee and snacks. The room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is the single worst hospitality experience I have ever had. If you value your health or basic respect, stay anywhere else. As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I am appalled. THE ROOMS: We were cycled through three uninhabitable rooms. The first two had mold-infested AC units (confirmed by their own staff). The third room reeked of urine. THE SERVICE (KHALA): The receptionist, Khala, is a complete liability to this franchise. Like other guests have noted, she is rude, impolite, and prioritizes her personal cell phone calls, or listening to music, over guests. Furthermore, several guests waited during the evening for her, because she suddenly disappeared. When we politely asked for a sanitary room, she became vile and hostile. She didn't act like a hotel professional. Khala acted like she was looking for a confrontation. She actually shouted at us, admitted she was mocking my wife with a colleague, and told us we could "wait in the lobby until 6:00 AM" if we wanted to see a manager. As a result, my wife started to cry afterwards. Her aggressive demeanor and attitude are questionable. I have video footage of her aggressive behavior, the verbal insults, and the unsanitary room conditions. This hotel is a health risk and the behavior is dangerously unprofessional. IHG Corporate has been notified and will be provided with the video footage.

The breakfast and service was very good! Our room needed a clothing hook repaired and the walk in shower floor was cracked. Other than those things needing some maintenance attention, everything else was just fine. It was a very convenient location for us. I would stay again.
