Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Pleasant TX

Room given to us. Second floor not level we had the feeling like it was going to fall any moment. Dirty with bugs everywhere, smoke smell in a non smoking room, dirty bed sheets and towels. Sticky carpet. We asked to canceled they did but still charge full price of the stay.

The hotel is a wreck. The grounds are unkempt. The lobby is shabby, dirty and not clean. The stench of the room was so bad, I smelled it as soon as I opened the ramshackle door. The bed linens were filthy. The floor had not been swept or mopped in a while. The bathroom was in disrepair. It took more than 30 minutes to get the smell of that room out of my sinuses. I have lived in burned out houses and slept under my truck. We have traveled to third world nations all over and must say that this was the worst experience of our lives. The gentleman at the counter tried to give us a different room, but I refused, so he promptly refunded our money. Wyndham should take better care of where they advertise their brand.

Booked hotels using Agoda site. We had a terrible experience staying in Super 8 by Wyndham Mt Pleasant. Our room had bed bugs. My spouse and I had bites everywhere on our body. Spent thousand dollars to recover. The case is pending with Agoda and hotel and there is no refund yet. Stayed on June 21, 2024. No Agoda or this hotel anymore!!! If no refund we will file the court case.

Never going back. Doors didn't open properly, broken stuff everywhere, pool was "closed". It was a very sour experience which I will not repeat.

I would give this hotel ZERO stars if I could. I made a reservation for April 2024 nearly a year in advance for 1 night and they just cancelled my reservation on me so they could price gouge by charging 4x what I made my reservation for. They also cancelled the reservation of another group I was meeting there as well so this wasn't an error. They are claiming they overbooked but when I spoke to the reservation line for Wyndham they offered to re-book (at the significantly higher rate) and how could they do that if they were overbooked?

The bolt lock on the door was broken and the door would not close without really having to force it. There were cockroaches alive and dead in the room. The breakfast consisted of 2 stale cereals. The positive about this hotel was the check in staff she was very helpful.

BEWARE: DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOME TO BE INFESTED!!!! We arrived and within 30-45 minutes we were packing our stuff and running out of there. We got to our room and we started to unpack, I had some lavender bed pillow mist that I travel with and sprayed the air in the room as well as the bed since the room was a little stale and damp smelling. Me and my fiancé went out for about 20 minutes and came back to our room to begin unpacking and getting dressed for thanksgiving. We had about 30minutes before we needed to be back on the road to see family for dinner. It started in the restroom, the lights didn’t work and I made a note to let the office know. Then I saw something black in the tub. I moved in closer and that’s when I saw antennas moving. I screamed asked my fiancé to double check that I was seeing a roach and he looked and said yup that’s right. I immediately begin checking the room the walls had some smaller babies crawling down the walls and I lost my stuff and started frantically shaking out the stuff we had unpacked and started throwing stuff back in to our suite cases. As I was at the desk packing my things I pick up my bag and there was a huge adult roach sitting right on the table ready to hop in my bag. I took several pictures and a couple videos as proof! DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY ARE TRYING TO NOT REFUND MY MONEY!

Bugs in the sink & tub drains / towels had stains / floors were dirty / i would not recommend sleeping on the bed or covers / dirty pair of panties in the parking lot / door hinge looked like SWAT had previously kicked the door down
