All of the staff was very friendly and the free hot breakfast was good. Just one complaint that lowered my rating. A thunderstorm knocked out the wifi on Friday afternoon and was still not working when we left on Sunday. This is unacceptable!

Did exactly what was expected & required - relaxing & quiet night's sleep in simple clean comfortable room/bed. Simple breakfast was on the button too - good. No fuss. Sufficient. Coffee to go. Loads of Food Options locally too - usual suspects mostly

Kind staff, accommodated our request of 2 rooms next to each other. Surprisingly quiet even on the road side. Very comfortable beds and clean hotel. Great breakfast including gluten free options and multiple flavors of yogurt which my kids enjoy.

The friendly desk clerk thanked me for being an IHG member and provided me with the address where we could take the "police car" tour of "Mayberry" (Mt. Airy). We were in room 308, sadly on the highway side of the hotel. Everything was clean. Not only was there an extra blanket in the room as we had requested in our reservation, but it was laid out on the bed. There was also another one in the closet. Even after being raised to its maximum height, the desk chair was very low for those of us who have long legs and a short waist. WiFi speed was measured at a decent 21 Mbps down and 23 Mbps up. There was a lot of light in the room that we could not block, especially from the door jamb and it interrupted our sleep. The toilet was one of those very low ones that should not be allowed anywhere for adult usage. The shower was so-so, certainly not great. The breakfast was typical and the coffee, sadly, was weak.

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable beds. Service was wonderful! The desk clerks gave us plenty of info regarding what to see while staying there. We saw Mayberry including Andy’s boyhood home and the granite quarry. Good times!

We had a good experience here. The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for my family. My kids were disappointed they were out of pancakes 2 of the 3 mornings we were there. They had cinnamon rolls though. The pool was nice, no hot tub though. It looked like they had filled it in. It's a bit dated, but nice and clean. Would stay here again.

This place is one to avoid. We needed a place to stay for about six hours on a road trip. They were out of standard rooms so we were forced to spend $200 for a king "upgrade". The decor is from the late 90's, bath fitter shower that creaks when standing on it, bathroom tiles cracking. Super gross carpet. Stained cloth furniture. I mean the kind of place you sleep in your clothes on top of the sheets. Eek.

Very disappointed in my stay there. They actually double charged me for the room and myself and my bank has given proof that they did and they still will not refund the money. Terrible customer service

Great everything: location, staff, suite, free breakfast!!! The hotel Exceeded our expectations!!! My wife and I stayed 5 nights while visiting vacationing friends and wineries in the area. We would live in this area if we ever decide to leave our homestead of 45 years. The locals are all very friendly and the area is beautiful!
