Fairfield Inn & Suites Moses Lake

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn on business on 10/2/24. I woke up today covered in bedbug bites. I called in to report this and spoke to Jen (?). I don’t feel that this was taken seriously. She suggested that perhaps I had incurred the bites during recreational activities. However, this is definitely not the case. I am an RN and was seeing patients all day and came straight to the hotel at the end of the day. I was told that they have never had a problem with bedbugs in the past, but she would “look into it.” I get the feeling that that isn’t going to happen, as she didn’t take down my room number or ask my name. The room was 329, if anyone cares. My hope is that they will hire an exterminator to “look into it” because nobody should have to deal with this. Especially at the “bargain “ price of $230 a night.

I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and stay over 20 nights in Marriott hotels last year. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Moses Lake for a work event a few weeks ago and was shocked when I saw my credit card was charged over $400. When I called to hotel I was told that I smoked in my room. The interesting part of that is that I am not a smoker, never have been. When I was on the phone I was told "you smoked in your room." It was beyond frustrating to the point I was in tears. I asked for proof and although they said the would provide their official documentation right away I had to call back to get it over a day later. They then sent a screenshot of a text conversation (very official) that included a photo they said showed ash on the bathroom countertop but I couldn't zoom in on the picture well enough to see anything and you couldn't even tell if it was actually in a hotel room, let alone the room I was in. I am beyond frustrated because I have never had anything happen like this before in my life and feel like I am being scammed. Fair warning from a non-smoker about what could happen to you.

I really liked this hotel. I stopped here on a cross country move and was very impressed. I want to commend the manager who was working during the evening. He really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. I received an upgrade as a gold elite member to a suite. breakfast was decent. air conditioning worked well. bed was comfortable. shower was good. Taco bell was across from the hotel. Another bonus. Would stay here again!

Just finished a three day stay at this Fairfield Inn. As a loyal Marriott Member I voiced my displeasure with the desk about three ice machines that have all be out-of-order the entire time. This morning I went to the lobby to get a cup of coffee at 6:10 and all three coffee containers had no coffee. Something is broken with the management of this facility.
