Located centrally in the Tunis souk, my father and I loved our stay. Surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants, it makes for a great night out. Clean, lavish and traditional hotel operated by a smiling, hard working team. Our room was extremely nice with air condition, a clean bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. The dining area is also well maintained and kitchen staff are super sweet - even serving us extra food without us even asking! The rooftop is also next level, where staff brought us tea and pastries while we enjoyed the sunset over the city. Amazing staff. Amazing hotel.

Mixed review, but overall too pricy hostel for the quality of the service. Having a good location and a cute decoration isn’t enough. Pros and cons below : Pros : - Amazing location in the heart of the Medina ideally located - Cute hostel with beautiful tiles - Kind and helpful staff Cons : - The room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. Instead of a double bed room, we were put in a bunk beds room with no explication or apologies. No solution, accommodations or compensation were offered to us afterwards. Very poor service from the hotel on that side and I saw online afterwards it’s not the first time they’re doing that - Noisy hostel with no soundproof rooms at all. All the rooms are close to each other and open to the dining area with the breakfast starting at 7:30am and people coming back very late at night. Earplugs very much needed - Average breakfast, the quality of the products is poor knowing what is available in the area. Be careful with water as some plastic bottles for breakfast are filled with tap water - Be aware you’ll have to walk at least 5min in little paved streets after taking off your taxi and finding a taxi to leave the area won’t be always very easy

We were there for our friends wedding, the room is spacious but there were smells in the bathroom as well as black spots in the shower from mold. The food was good.

I lived twice for a total of four days. The first time the quilt was already used, the other bird's hair was above, and it was good to go to the front desk to clean up. We had booked a triple room instead just arrived we received a up grade in small suites ! Very gentle!! Room with double bed, kitchen room and bed sofa and bathroom in modern style. I felt home.The place is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We asked for the missing covers for the bed sofa and immediately served us with coats and covers just out of the washing machine. It is a pity that there is no restaurant that serves for dinner, because there are no fast food or restaurants with local kitchen, but only a room next to the hotel Maia that serves coffee and sandwich/sweet sandwiches. We went down for breakfast the morning and I must say that the whole thing was delicious, especially fresh bean juice and bread. We stayed for a night all in quiet ... Hotel Maia is excellent price and pleasant stay. The only negative side is the lack of availability of dinner in hotels and the distance from the center of the capital for the rest is all excellent!

It was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that. Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip. Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.
