Holiday Inn Express Morgantown

This is a nice place to stay. The staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are noisy, you can hear the shower next door to your room. The breakfast was nice, and plentiful. The do game day (football) water, chips and dip for the guests in the lobby. We will be staying here again.

Check-in was great. The front desk person was extremely welcoming, offering tips for nearby restaurants and friendly chatter. The good: Location. Right off the interstate, and surrounded by restaurants and stores. You can walk to stores for just about anything you might need Good A/C that kept the room very comfortable. Really like the suitcase "stands" with storage drawers underneath. Spacious Very clean and new Breakfast was delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls (yum!!). The not so good: Bathroom exhaust fan did not work There was no toilet paper holder The 2nd "room" had only 1 light - on the desk. No light on a switch or anywhere else in that "room". We booked what they called a 1 King 1 Bedroom suite, but found there was NO door between the bedroom and the living "room". The online photo captions even refer to two "rooms", which we feel is misleading. With no partition or door (or even curtain) between the living area and the bedroom, there was zero privacy for the bed"room" and it was really not two rooms. It was basically just an oversized single suite. We would probably stay here again, but would not re-book the same type of room.

Very clean and newly renovated. The breakfast is okay with more options than most other hotels. The price on Sunday was very reasonable. We returned to the hotel on Wednesday and they had increased the price by $80 due to the upcoming graduation ceremony at the West Virginia University. The young man at the front desk advised that he was not allowed by management to give any discount due to the demand for hotels around graduation.

Wow!! We loved this hotel!! We arrived very late and they were very accommodating with a late checkout for the next day. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had a Holiday Inn, and this was my 5th one over the last two weeks. Overall it was just great! Next time we a passing through the area this is our new go to hotel!!

Wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the facility well kept even with some of the redecorating in progress. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The only thing it required was maintenance to,the elevator sliding door which was very noisy. We would stay het again if in this area.

I have stayed at this location several times over the course of the past few years. It has an excellent proximity to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The rooms/restrooms have always been and well stocked, the staff has always been friendly, and it is surprising quiet there. I have actually gone ahead and booked my next visit there, 6 months from now, for my next appointment with my doctor. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

Typical interstate motor lodge. Fairly pricey for not much hotel. Evidenced by the number of commercial work trucks in the parking lot, it was full of mostly construction workers and a few of us travelers. Good selection of light shopping, gas stations, and restaurants in walking distance (fast food and few sit downs such a OutBack). A few miles from downtown Morgantown and WVU. Not much going on in Morgantown on a Thursday night in July.

The place was a bit odd, but in no way that took away from the experience. When you enter, there is a fairly large wall with apparent random chairs sitting about. Just odd. The room seemed too big for the furniture in it. That said, I had everything I needed. Pull out sofa was comfy, pillows were good, room and bathroom clean. I saw all the expected room amenities but didn't have need of them. The elevator door does squeak and a repair of that would be great, but even sleeping next to it, I actually barely noticed it a few times. Breakfast was great. Staff nice and helpful. *Suggestion - put the Lipton tea bags at the coffee/tea station*. ＜- Big deal. :) Less than 15 minutes from WVU medicine Ruby.

The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was great and the beds were so comfortable I want to buy one of my own! The property was clean and well kept, and everyone was just so kind! I will absolutely be coming back!
