Nous avons été accueilli du dimanche 1er décembre à lundi nous et nous étions les seuls dans ce château avons été agréablement surpris par la gentillesse du personnel très accueillant, le petit déjeuner était excellent et nous reviendrons sans hésiter

Chateau LaMoune = Serene/Private/Comfortable Let me begin by saying we could not have been more pleased with the accommodation, location and especially, our most wonderful host François and his team. The chateau is beautiful, charming, inviting and combined with our host makes it irresistible. We couldn’t have been happier with our host François; he went above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived at the gate, he greeted us with the warmest welcome and from that day on, treated us with his famous sumptuous dinners and breakfasts. Merci beaucoup François d'avoir rendu nos vacances des plus mémorables, à bientôt.

Espaces extérieurs très agréables avec une belle piscine. Chambre beige très agréable et très grande avec balcon vue piscine, literie confortable. Accueil très sympathique et surtout aux petits soins! Nous avons testé l espace jaccuzi très bien et surtout nous avons adoré la prestation massages du spa, merci Chloé! Enfin, nous avons beaucoup apprécié prendre le petit déjeuner face à la piscine. Petit-déjeuner de grande qualité avec fruits frais et gâteaux maison de Mr François, un délice! Bref nous avons passé un excellent week-end prolongé et bien reposant. Remarque : La salle de bain est fonctionnelle mais pourrait être modernisée avec une douche italienne notamment. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Une halte très bucolique un peu hors du temps qui nous a ressourcée. Nous avons séjourné dans une très belle chambre très propre. Le petit déjeuner est très soigné et délicieux. Un hôte aux petits soins qui nous a donné plein de conseils en matière de dégustations et de bonnes adresses de restaurants.

After an overnight flight to Bordeaux, we did not want to drive on to our destination several hours away and decided to stay overnight at a hotel not too far from the airport, and on the way to our destination in the Dordogne. Chateau La Moune was a brilliant find, located just across the Pont Aquitaine, and close to the A 89. François, the manager, was so very accommodating and friendly. He even drove these two tired travelers to a nearby restaurant and returned to pick us up. He went out of his way to make our brief visit memorable. We had the chambre Nuptiale – a large, beautifully furnished room on the ground floor – the king-sized bed was a dream. His breakfast was wonderful. We could have had anything we wanted, but we chose to have tea and croissants – served with lovely jams, sweet local strawberries and other fruits. AND a piece of his over-the-top delicious orange cake – for which he offered the recipe – an offer that was gratefully accepted. Chateau La Moune has become our go-to overnight stop when we land at Bordeaux Airport.

J'ai réservé des chambres et un salon dans cette très belle demeure pour réunir la famille après un évènement douloureux. François et sa collaboratrice ont été tout simplement au Top, accueillants, disponibles, discrets mais aux petits soins. Le cadre, le calme et le buffet maison accompagné de très bons vins nous ont permis de nous retrouver et de nous réconforter dans l'intimité.

Personnel gentil et très cordial, très bien servie par l'autoroute proche, propriété exceptionnelle et petit déjeuné entièrement fait maison, un régal. On m'a conseillé des bonnes adresses. Les chambres sont nickel, encore plus belles que sur les photo et très important, très propre. Je conseil les yeux fermés !
