Excellent customer service. We had a small problem in our room and it was immediately taken care of by maintenance, and upon checkout they comped our valet parking. My family has been staying here for many years and we have always enjoyed the extra space, full amenities, and complimentary buffet breakfast. It is very clean and, although it may seem a little dated in this Instagram era of fancy wallpaper, it is actually beneficial to have three times the amount of space compared to hotels three times the price. You can get a huge king size room with a full kitchen, free breakfast, dining table, 4 dining chairs, armchair and ottoman, desk and comfortable work chair, 2 robes and two closets, plus an elevator and swimming pool for only $260 Canadian including tax!

It’s a little pricey for what you’re getting. If you don’t care if you’re in a Hilton or Marriott or want a swimming pool, we’d recommend staying closer to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or Centre Bell as that’s where there are a ton of really good restaurants so dinner is easier to find. If you want to stay in a known hotel chain, there is a Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn in this area. Pros - complimentary continental breakfast for Diamond members - on site parking and there is an elevator that takes you to the lobby - swimming pool/gym floor has 2 nice outdoor balconies with view - spacious room - mini frig and microwave in the room (no need to request and no extra charge) - decently centrally located – kind of halfway between most of the major sights. Cons - hot tub broke the 2nd night - other guests were rude and loud especially at the pool - ice machines were broken on 3 consecutive floors (2 of them put the broken sign on the machine inside the room) - no view from room window - breakfast was pricey and not fully complimentary as stated on confirmation but instead a credit for C$36 per day or $C$18 per person per day (credit cannot be saved and carried over); if you use it wisely and just get that amount worth of food/coffee you should be ok because then it’s just a tip. If you aren’t wise, then you’re at the mercy of your waiter. Different staff treat the charges differently – one charged us C$64.68 (after the credit and before taxes) for breakfast for 4: one C$25.95 buffet, one C$16 two egg platter, 2 small chocolate croissants and some fruit, and oatmeal with bacon. When we asked for some fruit, the waitress offered a fruit platter – we didn’t know any better so we said ok and got a huge platter full of unripe melon. So we paid less for a huge dim sum than we did for an ok breakfast. -C$34.99 + taxes per day for on site parking which can be challenging. You first pull into a teeny drive in area and have to check in before you can get access to the parking lot. The parking spaces are very small and the driving lane turns are super tight. For C$387 a night at Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville, we’re going to try the DoubleTree by Hilton in Montreal before we stay here again.

We had a good stay and it was the perfect location, lots of places within walking distance - shopping, restaurants, concert hall. We had a small issue with the heat and adjusting the temperature and the elevator was just okay but would stay here again if passing through. Staff was very helpful checking us in and answering some questions about places in the area.

Everything was as expected to the friendly front desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed and awesome location. You can walk to the old port, downtown and abundant shopping malls from the hotel. We didn’t use our car so the $30/night fee seems expensive. All around great stay in an awesome city.

I feel that the environment is pretty good and the room is quite clean and tidy. The small kitchen has basic kitchen utensils for cooking, and you have to prepare your own condiments. It is relatively quiet at night. It is very close to Chinatown. There are many restaurants nearby. For shopping, there are Chinese supermarkets and Wal-Mart. It is within walking distance to the underground city and Notre Dame Cathedral in the old town of Lao Port. It is very convenient! The only inconvenience is that there is no washing machine and dryer in the room

The hotel is in a great location, close to the subway station, Chinatown and City Hall. The front desk staff is friendly and the room is clean and quiet. The disadvantage is that the infrastructure is old and toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers are not provided. In short, the hotel is very cost-effective.

This is a small hotel located near Montreal's port and the city center. It offers a convenient location within walking distance to downtown, Rue de Saint Catharine, and Quebec University, allowing easy access to the city's top attractions. One of the best parts is the cost-saving opportunity when arriving from the airport. Instead of taking a taxi or Uber, simply hop on the bus 747 from the terminal. In just about 30 minutes (which is not much longer than an Uber ride), you can reach the hotel's entrance at a fraction of the cost. The staff at Le Roberval is incredibly friendly and helpful, making your stay even more enjoyable. While the hotel may not have the luxurious amenities found in more expensive establishments, it is well-maintained, clean, and provides everything you need. The facilities may not be fancy or glamorous, but they are certainly satisfactory. The breakfast offered is basic but satisfying. In conclusion, if you're looking to explore Montreal on a budget, Le Roberval should definitely be on your shortlist.

The plane was late, the staff was late, and the staff had already got off work, but he had self-check-in and check-out at the front desk, which was very convenient, but because the check-in time was late, he needed to call the customer service to apply for the deposit deduction, because he would not speak English and French. On September the 9th, 2022 we checked into your hotel, as part of a large group that reserved many rooms in your hotel for celebrating my son in law brother, Upon check in, ROOM 163, I was requested to provide my credit card info in order to access our reserved room. That is a normal procedure in many hotels, and I do respect it. However, I was immediately notified by VISA that an additional hold of $ 200 was applied. Requesting the front desk for clarification, I was told that it is a “security deposit”. For exactly what, I had no idea and the clerk could not explain. If it was for possible damages that may be my responsibility, than the hotel had to escort me to my room and verify with me that all is OK, before giving me access. If it is for after I check out, than no one came to check the room upon my departure. So what is the point? I was asked if I am an Aeroplan member. I provided the clerk with my membership number and was assured to earn the points. It’s been over 20 days, and no points have been credited. We have stayed for 3 consecutive nights. During the entire stay, we did not have our room cleaned even once. We had only one and a half rolls of toilet paper for 3 days. We had to buy papers at Walmart. We did not have our sheets changed. We did not get any soap and shampoo provided for 2 days. We had to buy supply at the nearby Walmart. We had to beg the cleaning girl in the hallway for more towels, as new fresh towels were not supplied. I personally complained to the front desk that our faucet is not working properly, it was seized. I was promised it would be rectified, but no one showed up. Our garbage was never emptied. I had to take it outside the room once a day. The ceiling fan in the bathroom is probably clogged, and humidity would stay in the bathroom for a long time. The carpets have not been vacuumed, and felt dusty. There were 8 large pillows, 4 on each bed. What’s the idea? One can use only 1 or 2, and the rest end up on the floor. Yes, 4 pillows have no use. The next gests get to use the same pillows which were on the floor. The mattresses are old and overused to a point that you simply sink into them. The elevators were dirty with leaves and debris on the floor for 3 days. The main entrance to the hotel lobby is so dirty, that one may think we are in a third world country. Tons of cigarette leftovers are pilling up just next to the main door, garbage begs and open garbage all over the garden beds for 3 days! And speaking on the hotel landscaping gardens, I must ask myself, why would the hotel spend so much money to install an irrigation system to automatically water all the ****S around the property? It is a disgusting view to see. Very flourishing ****s all over the property. The Kosher kitchen had no present of a Kosher supervisor showing during our 3 days stay. Front on the highway side very noisy, at the rear probably less. Sheet metal bed base (don't hit it especially if someone is sleeping). Only one ice machine for the entire hotel. No milk or cream in the fridge for coffee. A few more small adjus**ents, new and clean hotel.
