The service was just pathetic. Check in person could have been pleasant. We checked in at 12.30 AM & genuine courteousness goes a long way. Check out was ok.
The breakfast is not a buffet and is aligned to the restaurant connected to the hotel that didn’t seem to belong to the hotel. Both the food and service was a horror show. No alignment between the hotel and restaurant, so the restaurant person first refuses to offer breakfast even if it was paid. After checking it was all ok, but in short poor communication between the hotel and restaurant. The breakfast was oily and limited. And, even when it ordered at 9.40, at the time of serving the server said, we’ll shut in 5 mins not from the POV of last order, but basically asking us to eat quick and leave. Bad! You’re in service industry Best Western.
The room - small, poor lighting, broken fittings & the carpet felt like it needed deep cleaning. The only thing that was good was the coffee machine at the lobby.
The location is poor from the point of view that it felt dodgy around.
Loyalty program - we checked in very late at 12.30 AM and didn’t give the membership no. We checked out and I requested them to do it, but nah the system won’t allow. You have a lot to catch up Best Western. Goodbye. For good. We’ve moved ourselves to Holiday Inn and that’s a lost business for you.
