I was the other victim on Oct 4 of Kaleigh Ayer's unprofessional behavior ( plus the woman who physically threw us out). I was in customer service for over 20 years & was taught the customer is always right. Instead, 2 females were thrown out of the Hampton Inn-Monticello NY at 12:30am in an unfamiliar place with no other hotels within 30 minutes. We were forced to drive home over 2 1/2 hours on mostly back roads in the middle of the night. Not to mention they removed all of our belongings from the room we paid for. All because we stood up for ourselves when Kaleigh tried to force us to pay a higher rate than what was authorized. Neither of us were irate or threatening. Kaleigh was projecting her own behavior onto us, by claiming we were. If Kaleigh would've done what L.T. asked and just provided her name and honored the room price rate, this whole situation could've been avoided. We still have no resolution. but we do have video, so I suggest this matter be handled properly by Hampton/Hilton. Sue

The customer service at this hotel is the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. We had booked our room months ago to attend a friends wedding nearby. We arrived late assuming that since our credit card was holding the room for a guaranteed arrival that the room would be available when we arrived to check in after the reception. WRONG. The hotel front desk had given our room to a both person just 10 minutes before we arrived, claiming they called us and we didn’t and the phone - while we were enjoying the wedding reception- so they assumed we were a “no show.” The clerk then proceeded to tell us there was both she could do - and we were then told that not only did they charge us for the room but they would not refund the charge since they marked us as a no show. We were told to drive to the Best Western several miles away. After we pressed the clerk a bit she called a manager who told us they had arranged for a room at the other hotel for us. WHY did they not just send the other person to the BEST WESTERN? We have been long time customers of this chain but this makes me think it may be time to change our loyalty to another brand. The clerk was extremely rude and useless. The manager was the o my saving grace - but we had to threaten to call the authorities to get to speak with the manager. Very BAD experience.

This is the newest hotel in Sullivan County, and it shows in its amenities. The room was very spacious and includes a dorm-style fridge, microwave, and very large tv. The bathroom had several hooks for hanging towels and clothes while changing (a convenience that is too often overlooked). Water pressure was very strong. The hot breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the breakfast area is very modern with comfortable seating and many pillows. And, if you like half-and-half in your coffee, they provide an insulated carafe for pouring -- none of those annoying little thumb-size plastic containers to sloppily break open. The front desk staff was very helpful, cheerful, and professional and happily provided us with an earlier check-in.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. From the desk to house keeping. Everyone has the same goal. Everyone I saw had a smile on their face and did not leave any questions unanswered. Truly thankful for everyone. I would stay her again if I had the chance.

Had a very good great experience. My room was clean, the hotel was extra close to restaurants and other stores. Tucked away in a great location. Was there for a retreat and the staff was very hard working and professional especially Kaylee. She was very accommodating and patient with any issues I had. Appreciate it.

Great breakfast options and service all weekend! I arrived with family and friends, thoroughly enjoyed my stay and experience from the pool to the nature all around. I would take hikes in the morning and enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend and visit again.
