We arrived after midnight and the front desk clerk was so thoughtful and nice. Our room was large, very clean and the ac was working well during this hot evening. Our beds were super comfy. The hotel was under a remodeling phase but we were not affected by their progress at all. We ate a hearty breakfast the following morning and found the hostess/cook to be very delightful and so so sweet. As we roll our FULL cart into the lobby an elderly gentleman employee offered to roll out our cart to the car. We now know chivalry is not dead! He insisted on helping us unload but we told him we needed to organize as we unloaded! We highly recommend this hotel on your way thru Monticello.

Super staff. Big room. Good breakfast. Could use a little TLC refreshing and carpet cleaning. Desk chair was pretty stained and gross but I threw a towel in it and was fine. Keurig available. Microwave and fridge. Hand soap available upon request at check in. Is not placed by sink in room. Elevator was not working for a few days. Fresh cookies at desk.

This is a very nice hotel in the small town of Monticello, Arkansas, we enjoyed our stay here very much. Everything was clean and bright. Everyone was very friendly. Great breakfast, Our room was spacious, microwave, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and I had a great nights sleep, very quiet area. I would definitely stay here again love those Holiday Inn express cinnamon rolls! Breakfast was great!!!

The best thing about this hotel is the staff especially Lakedra. We arrived after a 9 hour drive and Lakedra was busy checking in several other guests. I was thinking boy she is one of the most friendly people to the guests and apologizing for making us wait. I felt bad for her being the only one at the front desk but she handled herself and the guests in the most helpful and friendly manner. When we got to our room we found out the air conditioning in our room was not working. She came up to the room to check and it was not working. There was no maintenance around that afternoon to fix it which I didn’t understand as we checked in during the workday around 4 pm. She immediately found us a different room even though I know the hotel was booked solid. Shout out to Lakedra. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a small outdoor pool that my nephew enjoyed. I would stay here again but not sure when would ever be back. Highly recommend.

I had business in Monticello and was here on business, I booked here because I thought this was the best choice in town. There must have been an event in town because there were a lot of people staying there when I was there. There were two other people ahead of me in line, A lot of traffic for a small town hotel. But anyway I got my room, the guy at the front desk was a little rude, he seemed to kind of roll his eyes at everything I said, but I cant really complain because everything went okay. I did stay here two nights and my room was okay, it was safe interior corridor, second floor, they seem to have several exterior corridor rooms on the ground floor near the courtyard. The rooms have new carpet but the beds seem like they have been well worn. The courtyard and outdoor pool are a good feature of this hotel, didn't swim because its february, of course. Didn't eat breakfast here the first morning, becuase I went to Huddle House, I did eat breakfast here the last morning I was there and it was pretty good. I think this is a good hotel for a small town.
