Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa at the Convention Center

We came to Montgomery to visit some old friends. We are planning a couple of trips in 2025. We need to sit down and develop a plan for two trips each with more than a three week duration. We wanted to stay in the downtown Montgomery area and experience the nightlife. We chose the Renaissance hotel and it is absolutely outstanding. The courtesy began as we drove into the unloading area. Mitchell was fantastic. He explained to us valet parking versus self parking. He helped us out of the car. He unloaded our bags. He brought them into the room and set the suitcases up. He adjusted the thermostat showed us where the towels were and ask us would we need anything else. The check-in was flawless and all the folks working behind the counter absolutely outstanding. Very courteous. Very clean location. The room is outstanding. We got here just in time for sunset. The view was unbelievable. Highly recommend this location. What a beautiful property.

Although the hotel was having a very busy weekend and appeared understaffed in valet with the hotel at almost 100% occupancy, Blake went out of his way to ensure I didnt have to wait longer than necessary to receive service and he assisted with my luggage which was a godsend after the weekend that I had.

Blake the valet was very kind and helpful to help me with my bags and pull my car around swiftly. Staying at the Renaissance was a good experience. The staff was courteous and our room was clean and quiet even though the hotel was full due to a large event.

Enjoyed our stay! Would like to give a shout out to our Valet guy Blake! He was courteous & friendly!! Our room was very comfy & nice. The buffet was delicious as always. Enjoyed the 2 man band on the patio & the weather was perfect for being outside!

We had a great experience at the Renaissance Hotel. The hotel smelled so good. Everyone was so hospitable, especially Blake in valet. Thank you for the excellent customer service and southern hospitality. The staff was so helpful, and attentive. Everyone had smiling faces. Most definitely will be coming back.

I recently visited the Renaissance for a business trip. Blake was very friendly and helpful when retrieving my vehicle and helping with my luggage. It is refreshing to get such good customer service and I really appreciated his friendliness and desire to do a good job!

After a long but enjoyable tour of the Sounds and Sights of the South we stayed in this beautiful hotel. Out of all the hotels we stayed in during the tour this was the best. Immaculately clean and presented. Good friendly atmosphere and great staff. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Room was lovely and had a great view of the river. Montgomery is a beautiful place and I could not believe how clean the place was. Puts my home town to shame. A great finish to our trip.

Me and my hubby came for a staycation. So lovely! Brant and the valet team was great. Room service was excellent! Just a great experience. If you are looking for great views, a peaceful stay, exceptional customer service, and entertainment within walking distance, this is a perfect option!!

We booked this hotel online with no problem and looked forward to a nice little Labor Day weekend getaway. Upon arrival, we were amazed at all of the people, buses, etc and come to find out that a couple college football teams were staying here too, as it was the season opener weekend. I had a bit of a difficult situation at check in as they couldn't locate my reservation. I showed them my phone app which reflected my dates, the hotel's name and the reservation number. It apparently could not be found and I was worried that we wouldn't have a place to stay. They assured me that they'd have a room for us. We got things resolved and had a nice view of the river. In my opinion, the location of this hotel was perfect for what we wanted to do and see. One of our days, we rented bikes and rode our way through an online tour -- Rosa Parks, MLK, etc. It was HOT and I'm glad there were bikes right across the street to rent (and they are scattered throughout the area). It was nice to come back here to a very nice, cool and comfortable hotel. We also spent some time at the outside bar area watching college football games while a couple of different men entertained and sang. We happened to be here the same evening that "The Voice" winner, Asher, was on site and it was nice meeting him and listening to him join in on a song. Our reservations included breakfast at "The House" which was FaBuLoUs!! Breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, grits and an area to get made-your-way omelets. This is the restaurant onsite and I really can say, it was great and all the staff that we interacted with were kind and accommodating. There were several restaurants close by (Italian, Oyster bar, BBQ, etc) as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. We declined room service while there -- it just wasn't needed. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. One night, I was awoken by loud (obnoxious) women yelling (maybe drinking?) in the hallways at each other. So, the rooms aren't completely soundproof as I could hear the conversation well. If there's a gripe, that's the only one. We were pleased with everything from the service to the food to the location and would definitely stay again as it seemed, to me anyway, to be the nicest hotel in the area. There is a parking garage for guests (and venue patrons), at a cost but it's convenient to the hotel as it sits right behind the property and can be reached without being in the elements, if it's raining. We are thankful for a comfortable place to stay during our getaway.
