The Best Western Centro Monterrey is a tourist hotel located in Monterrey downtown nearby to Fundidora Park, Cintermex International Business Center, Fundidora Theater -where the race track cart series take place, movie theaters, discos, and the most important corporations such as Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, Cigarrera La Moderna, Vitro and Hylsa. Also the Best Western Centro Monterrey is very close to Macro Plaza and Morelos Plaza, where you can find in Mallo a great variety of stones.

The double room (2 single beds) is very small. No hairdryer and iron. The internet is slow but manageable. The drainage in the bathtub and bath sink always clogged up. Very noisy from 9 PM to 5 AM due to the bar club nearby (playing music all night long). Would not recommend to stay on the weekends (best is during weekdays). We stayed from Saturday through Tuesday (12/10/22 - 12/13/22). The hotel looks fine but the surrounding buildings/stores look old and shaggy. Very dirty in this area as people littering trash on the street during the day (and the government clean it up around midnight). Free breakfast is very simple just breads, cereals, and juices. The morning front desk staffs barely speaking English (the night staffs are okay). Most of the major attractions are walking distance from 1/4 to 1 mile. Lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby the hotel and food is very cheap. They have FREE shuttle to take you within 10 kilometers distance. We took the shuttle to the point view (mirador in Spanish) where you can view the whole city of Monterrey. The taxi from the airport is $25 USD and roughly 33 minutes drive. Taxi and Uber are also cheap $2 to $5 per trip for 3 persons within 1 to 5 miles. If you are on a low budget, stay here and the hotel is closer to all major attractions. Otherwise, go to the new town or old historical town is much better (1 mile from this BW Centro).

Although the property is in a good location and includes limited parking, the room was dirty; with a peculiar smell the a/c didn’t work properly and the mattress is severely outdated: The springs chimed at the minor movement, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, as in the bath curtain I found hair and dust. The hotel is lacks manteinance. If it were earlier and less tired, i’d had move to other hotel.

Very beautiful hotel that still smells new. The small lobby kind of threw me off, at first I thought I was at a residency but luckily there was a staff member waiting for me to check in. Room was amazing, very large. Sadly I was on the back so the view was not that great, had booked a King size bed room but got a double bed room at first. They managed to fix it for me right away. There were still some constructions going on but it didn´t really bother me. Everything was just super clean and looked great. One of the best hotels I ever stayed at, staff was very friendly and helped my girlfriend out with the valet service and walked up to the road for me to open the taxi´ doors too. One of the best hotel stays I ever had. Perfect for a business trip/meeting at the bar or for a couple looking for a luxury place.
I didn´t have the breakfast included nor did I have dinner at the restaurant but I´m sure this was arranged fine by the looks of everything else. They were renovating the restaurant the last two days of my stay so I´m sure it must look very nice by now.
Views from the terraces are very nice too. There is one on the right side that was kind of hidden, perfect view on the Cerro de la Silla.
9.5/10 would definitely book again.

We arrived late at night and did not realize what part of Monterrey we were staying in. Instantly we were impressed with the hotel. The staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Even past midnight on a Wednesday, someone that spoke English was working the desk which made check-on a breeze. When we woke up in the morning and opened the drapes, it was floor to ceiling windows facing south and an amazing view of the mountain range. Not only that, we were in the most cosmopolitan area of the city. There are tons of restaurants, bars, a massive mall, all within walking distance. We ate breakfast every morning at 1856, the on-premises restaurant. It was amazing. Yes, a buffet but one that was top notch and enough choices to make anyone happy. The pasole on Saturday was perfect. The various salsas were great and the pastries were very local and tasty. I believe that 1856 becomes a steak restaurant at night but we were busy exploring the city. The staff was great, rooms were always cleaned. For Americans that don't speak Spanish - there was one English channel on the TV, I think Fox News or CNN and then one sub-titled channel that showed movies and FX shows. Uber was extremely quick when we called. The location was great. Maybe 30 minutes to the mountains to hike, horseback or boating, or a five minute walk to any type of retail you want. I would stay here every time we visit Monterrey as the experience was completely awesome.

I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2024. The hotel is new, very clean, well maintained, and (mostly) quiet. (I was in a room next to the elevator and for some reason on one night the elevator kept dinging its arrival...even if it wasn't arriving on my floor). I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. My only challenge--and this is not the hotel's fault--was getting Uber pickups. The app autocorrects for pickup at the building behind the hotel which isn't a big deal but was annoying initially.

GGuest UserI hesitated to write this review because it is such an amazing stay, I kind of want to be selfish and keep it a secret. Fiesta Americana Pabellon M is perfectly located, walking distance to many great restaurants and tourist attractions. It is an easy walk to Paseo Santa Lucia, Macroplaza, and the Metro terminal for transportation. The area seems very safe and is well lit. The hotel is modern, clean and luxurious. It is worth every penny. It has an incredible bar and restaurant with an amazing view of the city. You really can't beat it. The true reason I am writing this review is to congratulate the staff on providing your guests with an outstanding hospitality experience. There are two people that were extremely helpful and made our stay particularly enjoyable: Pamela from front desk and Mr. Alfredo, concierge services. I truly could not believe how great they treated us. They were courteous, respectful and very helpful. They went above and beyond in making sure that our stay was perfect and that everything went without a hitch. I even attempted to find the general manager to commend them. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to, but I hope that this review reaches management. People like Ms Pamela and Mr Alfredo are hard to find in hospitality now a days. Cherish them. They are the ones that will keep the guests coming back. They were wonderful! And quite honestly, everyone was! Thank you so much for a perfect stay. We will definitely be returning and recommending to many travelers.

This is a nice e hotel, with a great interior design, and very comfortable spaces. Located in Valley Oriente mall in San Pedro, NL, its a great option if you are visiting Monterrey, as is conveniently located and in a very secure area. There are plenty of dinner options nearby, and the site restaurant and bar are good options as well. The only but i see in the room design is that the water closet is not completely enclosed.

GGuest UserFriendly staff. But as other has mention, the hotel need a renovation. -The worst thing in the hotel is the old carpet, it seems like its been there uncleaned for 20years. I did not want to touch the carpet without socks. Please just remove it or deep clean it regularly. -AC fan could only turn on on MAX speed or not at all, not possible to sleep with that loud thing on. -Furniture is pretty old and scuffed. In general hotel could do some good with a renovation -breakfast area was really hot, it was cooler just outside the breakfast area than inside. -Breakfast options is pretty limited, got pretty tired of the eggs real quick. -The gym is really small and limited, and some equipment was damaged when I was there, No free weights. -The location is pretty bad. It is in the outskirts of the city, you are limited to a very few restaurants in the area that you can walk too. +You have a Wallmart close by, that is a plus. +The TV in the room is large and you get free water +Free parking +It was pretty cheap One thing that really bothered me was a picture in google maps photo for this hotel with a supernice renovated room was shown, this was CLEARLY not from this hotel and I feelt a little bit scammed from that picture. Compare to other Marriott hotels I stayed at, this does not live up to the Marriott standard at all. I would rate this 2 out of 5. I would not return to this hotel.

GGuest UserLocated 5 minutes away from downtown Monterrey and right by a medical center, this hotel has a lot to offer. I was here for an eye exam and it was such a convenience staying right next to the center. Instead of going out for something to eat, I was able to Uber Eats the food to the hotel. Front desk is very accommodating and friendly. Room is clean. I would definitely stay again!

GGuest UserI was rushing to attend a wedding at the Hotel SAFI Metropolitan that is next, and despite the neighborhood, it was very difficult to find the salon, as it was necessary to pass a shopping center, to raise an elevator to floor 4, to get out to a parking station, and then walk to another lift that climbs up to floor 7. The phone didn't work to call the reception, which I had to report by phone several times, and after two hours they were to change the cellular batteries to the phone to work. The bathroom had several water leaks, and as the door of the bathroom was not closed well, the bathroom and the closet area were flooded.

When you check in, they give you these vouchers for you and whoever is staying with youfor breakfast. So, if you forget it, lose it or just simply don't have it, you can't eat. Breakfast was pretty decent though, a combination of a continental and Mexican breakfast. Plus, staff in the dinning room were very nice and helpful and that is always appreciated, especially early in the morning. Wish their front desk was the same. Their parking is a bit strange in my opinion since they don't have one on site and instead you have to park in a shopping centers garage. I tried to get help from one of their front desk personnel and the look of annoyance on this guys face just irked me, especially since I approached him as polite as possible. At one point, he laughed at us when we told him the instructions he was giving were not making sense. In the end, I assumed he felt us being annoyed and just took a deep breath and drew us a map but even while doing so, was condescending with his tone. Not the best experience. There is a shopping center next to the hotel with stores, restaurants and coffee shops but for the most part, you'll need a car to go elsewhere since there was nothing else nearby. Again, beautiful hotel but not the nicest front desk reception at any point in the day.

TTeresa1928We were there for a woman’s conference and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. They were very helpful and attentive. We loved the room, so modern and right in front of cintermex we just had to cross the pedestrian bridge, the location is the best, so close to different options to eat but we loved the hotel restaurant so much that we eat there 90% of the time. The breakfast buffet was so good, the whole menu is so delicious. We were served by Carmen who always went beyond the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our food. The hotel is so beautiful and modern inside but by far my favorite was the restaurant’s decor It’s the perfect hotel for a couples get away I can’t wait to go back with my husband for a quick get away. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.
