Posto magnifico poco fuori da Montalcino.Accoglienza unica, mi sento a casa!!! Cibo ottimo(trippa e zuppa di cipolla cose uniche) , cordialità e gentilezza e tanto amore per ciò che hanno, fanno e danno. Viviana ed Artura,persone speciali.

If Paolo and Viviana are still tending this place, make your reservation immediately. Not only is the Villa La Croce near the beautiful hill town of Montalcino, but it is nestled in a lovely valley, its vinyards a perfect accent. The 13th Century village turned into 7 nice apartments is a treat to stay in, and perfect staging for a car tour of Tuscan. Paolo is as kind and genuine a host as you could ever expect. Viviana makes fabulous food in the restaurant and treats everyone like an old friend. We could not have been happier.

Wonderful stay. Very cool experience staying at an agriturismo. Barbara and family are so warm and welcoming. It was great having a small kitchen with a fridge to store any leftovers we had. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed the tour of the cellar and wine tasting. A perfect base for our trip to Tuscany.

We used La Crociona as home base for exploring Tuscany on a rented Ducati. Our first day we did a tour of Brunello wine country with some reserved tastings. Our second day we saw Montepulciano and Pienza and the Val D’Orcia. Our third day we drove the Crete Senesi and saw San Gimignano and Volterra. La Crociona was a perfect base for this. There is a lovely restaurant next door. The village is quiet and the family is wonderful. We bought groceries at the coop in Montalcino and made dinner on the apartment stove. We bought a bottle of their wine and drank a glass while walking in their vineyard. It is a beautiful place that made our trip peaceful and memorable.

Siamo stati presso l'agriturismo la Crociona 4 notti i primi di agosto con 3 bambini. Proprietari disponibili, bella la piscina e ottima posizione vicino a Montalcino. L'appartamento però l'abbiamo trovata mal tenuta e poco pulita, le macchine passano di continuo sotto l'appartamento (anche in piena notte). Leggendo le recensioni ci aspettavamo più pace e tranquillità.
