In Abundance Guest House

The number 1 plece to stay in Montagu. A very peaceful and super relaxed stay. Wonderful room with everything that you need. Stayed 2 days and it was way too short. Breakfast is amazing. I will certainly be back again. Keep up the great work everyone.

Pre arrival we gathered In Abundance was organised on an auto prompt to our phone! Arrival itself was warm and welcoming. A nice large rambling old house tastefully adjusted to fit spacious and comfortable rooms with good amenities and a warm and comfortable bed. Local arrangements for dinner were requested in advance - an easy walk to a fantastic restaurant down the road. Came back to a beautiful warm fireplace lit lounge before a quiet nights sleep. Breakfast was well presented and top quality omelette prepared in front of you. Staff so warm and friendly and certainly going out to ensure your well being. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed home-from-home hospitality at this gorgeous guesthouse. Cozy in winter. Nothing is too much trouble for Yolandie, Joseph and Martly who ensure that guests enjoy every moment of their stay. An abundant breakfast does justice to their name. It was hard to leave, but we will be back.

We stayed here on our way through from Franschhoek to Sanbona Wildlife reserve. I only wish we had stayed for longer. A beautifully appointed guest house with delightful accommodation, comfortable bed,wonderful staff, delicious breakfast and a fantastic host Marty who serves the most amazing honey. We entered as stagers and left as friends. Everything was lovely and we throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Excellent accommodation just a couple of hours from Cape Town Airport in a calm beautiful relaxing environment with amazing friendly efficient and professional staff, tastefully decorated, delicious breakfast and a great host. What else could you ask for? Ah yes, also walking distance from great restaurants and a bird sanctuary!

Fab-u-lous! This is such a great guest house run by Marty and her excellent team. We stayed in room 3 with double doors onto the pool decking with very comfy beds and spotless bathroom. Marty has thought of everything and this shows in her attention to detail and selection of only the finest local products for breakfast. We absolutely loved staying here.

Right in the centre,“In Abundance” is in a most beautiful and quiet spot. The staff are delightful and thoughtfully arranged dinner reservations and explained various things we could do in Montagu. We had a wonderful room overlooking the pool and our own private garden. We loved it and would not hesitate to return.

Excellent accommodation. Warm welcoming owner and staff. Every need catered for. Full marks for quality of service and a definite five star breakfast. We will definitely be back hopefully for a longer stay

We stayed at the 'In Abundance' Guest House for one night, on the trip back from Garden Route to Cape Town. Montagu is a lovely town in the mountains, with great options to go hiking or trail running in particular. I can not overstate how fantastic 'In Abundance' is-- the guesthouse is nothing short of spectacular. The rooms are nicely furnished and decorated, and there is a gigantic common space which leads to the equally nice pool-area and outside seating. Everything is exquisitely designed with lots of attention to detail. Our kids also loved the pool and the house! Most importantly, Martly and Hanno were amazing hosts-- they really made us feel welcome and had great tipps. We had some complications in scheduling ahead of time, but they were amazingly friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a friendly space to spend a few days for simply relaxing or hiking in the area, I could not recommend this place more highly, this is really a unique place! Our only regret is that we only had time to stay there for a single night, we wish we had more time there (as Martly had correctly predicted ;-)).
