The overall feeling is good, the hotel has a swimming pool, spa, gym, and there are many restaurants near the sea, which is quite convenient. There are also supermarkets, but you have to take a taxi, but not far away. .

The environment is fantastic and the room is quite good. It contains two meals, so this price is not expensive. However, since I didn't know if the room was good when I booked it, I didn't dare to order more, only booked for one day. I found it very good after I checked in. I hope that when I continue to live, the other party tells me that I am full, sorry. However, this is a great place to spend a holiday and enjoy the sun and the beach. I have stayed at several hotels in Mombasa and this is one of the best.

It was my birthday on the 22nd of July and I decided to give myself a solo treat at Voyager. My experience was really amazing.
-I checked in earlier than the allowed time, yet I was received so well and luckily allocated a room earlier.
-The highlight of my stay: My bf planned a surprise for me from far and the organisation of the same was top notch, Amina did an amazing job at the planning, she did it so joyfully and passionately. The dancers who presented the cake really went out of their way to help present the surprise, proper HD photos were taken and shared. My bf was updated so often, and they ensured that I am so comfortable and happy throughout that day.
I later came to meet Amina and she was so eager to tell me how excited she was to plan and surprise me. She is such a gem: Voyager, your staff are very professional and lovely. They most certainly made my stay worth every penny.
-Having three swimming pools also makes one able to get the different experiences at the different locations, there are activities in the pool at any time of the day and so one is guaranteed there is no dull moments in the pool, it's all exciting and fun.
-Food: There was such a wide variety and each of them were top notch in terms of flavor.
-Drinks: The unending supply of drinks makes it really worthwhile.
Views: being a beach front, you will not be disappointed, serene views that are very calming and soothing from the fast life of Nairobi.
-I was also not rushed during check out yet I checked out late.
-I am grateful for the experience Voyager gave me on my bday. 🥳

The Sarova Whitesands resort was perfect. The room was very clean, everyone was very friendly and accommodating, the facilities were outstanding, and the food was terrific. I suggest booking with the full board option. They changed the buffet options frequently, and had a wide assortment of offerings. One night, they even had grilled lobster, which was a pleasant surprise. The Coco Bar was a lot of fun also.

Lovely hotel and pool right on the beach. Nice rooms and restaurant. Beautiful warm pool. Beach can be a bit daunting with all attention from men selling things but worth it to swim in the sea. Fabulous friendly staff especially the animation team - Diana and Said in particular. Had a great stay and would come back again ☀️☀️

My order includes the dinner on the day of the check-in and the next-day brunch. The dinner is good. The breakfast was not eaten. Let's talk about lunch. The hotel check-in time starts at 13:00 and the check-out time is 10:00 the next day. My lunch. Just being ”corrupted”, is there a refund? The hotel environment is good, swimming in the yard, monkeys, lizards, all kinds of birds... very close to the beach, very pleasant at night. The service is not bad. It is not allowed to wear shorts for dining, and to change the trousers for the room. It is understandable to be gentlemanly. In the morning, you can see the sunrise of the Indian Ocean, praise one! The room is full of British plugs, only the bathroom has a two-hole Chinese plug, it is recommended to bring your own conversion plug.

OO., KO.So spacious with so much natural lighting. The ocean view is awesome. The airflow makes using air conditioning optional.
ZZhaocaiyexiaomaoTraveling with my son, we booked a package that includes three meals. This is an older hotel, the decoration is not new, but the overall maintenance is still very good, the management is standardized, and the staff is well-trained. The architectural planning of the entire park is well-arranged, with the relaxation and stretching of a resort hotel, the gardens and plants are well maintained, and there is its own private beach. The swimming pool uses sea water, which is comfortable. The view and scale of the room are quite comfortable. When the weather is good, dinner is in the open air. The singer's voice is very mellow, and there is a dance performance afterwards (the dancers should be hotel employees,) The atmosphere is very good. During the day, there will be someone smiling at you anywhere in the hotel? And ask if you need help or service. Special thanks to Pamela, her interaction and companionship with the children left a deep impression on the children, and my son likes her very much. In addition to the interaction by the pool and at dinner, they also made bracelets together. Let the children have a relaxing and happy time. The only drawback is that there are almost no vegetables at breakfast, and the flavor is relatively simple compared to dinner. If I come again next time, I probably won’t consider this mode of including three meals.
CCFEIIIWe stayed here a couple nights, Our room was small and somewhat hot, but it was great for the price. The neighborhood around here looks a bit sketchy, but the people were nice, ample street food, a couple fair bars, Not a destination, but adequate if you need a cheap place to stay..
JJIANThe hotel is very large, there are few dining restaurants, and the reservation is for dinner. The price is very high. The hotel has to take a taxi to go out, can not walk, there is a little distance from the sea, the next few hotels are very expensive. This business is not good, so make it cheaper
DDanThe location is peaceful. An older facility, somewhat run-down, but clean and orderly. Would suggest a bit more attention to beautifying the grounds, plastering and painting at the gate. The staff was friendly and responsive. The room was comfortable. A/C working well. Shower brought warm water eventually. We had a room service each day with fresh towels and bottles of water. TV was fine but not an internet TV. wi-fi was a bit spotty and slow. Room opened up to a nice patio which overlooked the pool. The patio is shared with another room. In our case there was a fairly lively family next door.
The pool is well maintained and pool area is pleasant. It is a shallow pool throughout.
RResort33619079762The Hotel Plaza Bamburi beach. 'Just wonderful' Just returned from a fortnight in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it' The accommodation its self is a least on par with many european resort hotels,it is immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly, even more so if you tip.If you are on a tight budget sign for your drinks and pay at the end of your holiday. The food is good with a superb English breakfast every morning(you really dont need lunch)the evening meal was sometmes a little disappointing(nothing wrong with the quality just the variety) , i am quite a fussy eater . The soups were always excellent, however. The head chef was very helpful, when i caught a large kingfish ,he had it cooked for the whole hotel. The hotel has a nice pool which is great for cooling off in, and the sun bathing area is well designed with coconut palms filtering out a little of the heat in the breeze(just too hot to lie in other wise ). Dont be afraid to book your trips of the beach boys the, rep will tell you scare stories to ensure your business, but we booked a 3 day two night safari through Harrison at a substaintail saving (Chico is a top bloke too}and we were delighted with the whole thing. we paid £160 each one night voi lodge tsavo east , one night ngalia lodge tsavo west. The rep wanted £210 for same trip. If you are interested in doing some deep sea fishing ,i must recommend John and Ken Rodwell, they are based in Mtapwa creek. The hotel should be able to get a number for you, if not ask the beach boys for charlie brown and he will sort it out for you. I had a exceptional days fishing with 12kg kingfish 23.5kg sailfish and 60kg black marlin. At the time of writing the boat cost £240 per day so you might want to get three buddies to share the cost. By the way i never go to the same place twice on holiday, but i will be coming back here to this hotel next year, nuff said !
1. The place is horrible right from the check in. I regretted on day 1. We arrived from the airport at 9am in the morning with my 2 year old son. We found them setting down breakfast. We were so hungry and requested if we could join in. It was denied since it was time to close. We asked if we could buy al carte from the Tanga bar, the waiter casually responded to us to wait till 12noon since the Chef was not open yet. We requested for a small meal then for the child, we were told its against policy but luckily the customer care personnel called Isabela (he only +ve encounter) intervened and the boy was fed something. 2. The lady who was doing housekeeping in room 211 on dates 3-6th oct, kept coming to wake us up at 9am and requesting to take away the bedsheets that early even before we go for breakfast. I found it disturbing and had to keep requesting her to give us more time and come back when we are out for breakfast. Upon check out, we tipped her 200bob because frankly we were not happy at all with the service and then we heard her behind our back talking dismally to her colleague about the value of money she had been given. 3. The staff at the eating area are quite unfriendly and talk down casually to guests. One waiter, he always served the fish delicacy during lunch and dinner, was even hitting at me. I asked him 'ninyunyuzie mchuzi' and he responded in a weird tone, ”naeza kunyunyuzie kitu kingine pia”. Very disgusting. - They have an oversupply of Trainee/Intern waiters who keep taking away your plate before you even finish. You look away one second, the plate has already been cleared and you weren't done eating. 4. The staff at the swimming pool also complain how they are understaffed and how they don't enjoy their work with minimal pay. This translates in the quality of service given to your guests. 5. Let's not even go to the state of the rooms, very run down. The glasses for drinking water were washed right before my eyes in the bathroom sink (which has gunk build up btw) with the surface cleaning detergent and put back on the console table. I never used a glass again. 6. There're no child friendly meals. They keep recycling meals that didn't finish during breakfast, are served for lunch. Therefore there's no variety, you'll keep finding the same roast potatoes for breakfast/lunch/dinner. 7. Rita and Isabella were the only helpful and generally kind personnel in that hotel. Th management should consider training the staff or do an overhaul because there wasn't much, if any hospitality in that hotel.
TTravHubIt is located perfectly for travel to the airport, so the convenience is certainly a reason to stay here. The staff were all pleasant, but the rooms could use air-conditioning as it is a hot country. They have a restaurant downstairs inside the hotel, but choices are limited and the breakfast was very ordinary. The restaurant they have next door was a total waste of time and money. We ordered the grilled chicken and waited over 1hr for it to arrive, and when it did it was dry overcooked chicken that was like chewing on a rubber boot. We couldn't finish the meal because it was just inedible and not at all a good meal by any standards. Their cold drinks are not very cold and they do not have ice. Oh, but for them it is more important to have an ignorant DJ playing music so loud we had trouble hearing ourselves talking. We asked nicely if they could have the music volume lowered a little but our request was just ignored by the DJ. It is a restaurant not a night club and the music was just too loud for a restaurant. So I would give this place a 0 star rating because it was terrible.
GGuest UserIve stayed for 7nights at Sai rock and tonsay the most, it was not what i expected. I come to msa every 6 weeks for work and stay in average hotels on B/B and enjoy the service. What i chooose to give feedback on; Not worth the money we paid for Wifi that doea not work. Like seriously, isnt that the bare minimum a hotel can offer WIFI? couldnt use my laptop for a whole week cz wifi couldnt work in the room. So i came back with soo much workload that i could have done then. So INCONVINIENCE!! Breakfast was always cold. I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel so i was taking breakfast daily at round 7-7:30 latest except my last Day. And it was always cold. i mean how bad can it get surely. Some day even the tea was cold i never complained cz i was too tired already so i went served tamarind juice which i dont. Im a chai person but aarrgghh House keeping- water at the hotel is too salty i mean its just extra salty IDK why. So 2 consecutive days they dont replace the shower gel cz i prefer it to the soap since il lathers easily so 3rd day i write a note saying “please replace shower gel today you havent done so past 2 days” guess what -whoever he/she is comes cleans, picks the note and adds the soaps. No shower gel day 3. On 4th day is when i found 2 again. But again, i was too tired to complain cz thats just nonsense! Ironbox - Its good for a hotel to know that its the little things. I borrow an ironbox by calling the reception at around 7 the lady said it will be brought to the room. I wait and since i was getting late for work i decide to go get it. At the reception ahw says housekeeping hajafika wakifika wataleta. I mean im getting late my friend so i waitnfor housekeeping? I had a white shirt to iron so i waited. Few min its brought to the room and i take out like 5garments that needed ironing and ironed. Here is where its at. 25min ironing someone knocks my door a gentleman “dada waweza kuwa umemalozia pasi”.OMG!!! I honestly asked him does this hotel have one ironbox really? The worst that could haopen is i leave it in the room instead of handling Over at the reception but housekeeping would have come and found it jameni🤦♀️ The guy had to stand and wait till i finiah ironing and take the ironbox with him. But that was pathetic really inconvinience. First i wait to get it then someone stands out to waitnfor me to finish? HYGiene- bathroom walls were dirty not scrubbed at all. Also im back with a loss since housekeeping decided to throw away all my ETR receipts of my expenditure that i had well placed in a drawer. That drawer had a paper written the wifi password and also a box for my face soap and that was left untouched. I had these stack of receipts i folded and kept there to be re imbursed by accounts later. Around 6k worth of receips ive lost the money cz someone thought i missed the bin below the table and my shallow brain did not know what it was 🤦♀️doing placing them nicely folded im a drawer. Im beyond words for my
