If you are a couple and want a experience of lifetime go to this beautiful and quiet place, with a good food too, litter hard to find but went you found it, you will love it they have private beach, no one can come from outside that is not staying at the place, stuff very good, one morning walking to around i dropped a few 100 dollar bills. next morning the lady in charge had it for me, one of her employers found it, no body do that no where, I didn't even know i dropped it. we had a good time i will go again

When Traveling to El Salvador’s picturesque coastline, I firmly believe that those who can should stop by Paradiso Escondido - if not for one night, just for a meal - to discover a view unlike any other in the country. With elevated local cuisine, a fully private beach with not one, but two pools, and nine villas that overlook a magnificent cove of tall rocks, this hotel - simply put - is something special. The factor, however, that won me over the most was the impeccable service and kindness of the staff. Treating me as if part of their family, never once at this hotel did I feel like I was lacking for anything or that I was out of place, even as a student from the United States whose Spanish (admittedly) could use some brushing up. An illustrative example of this familial quality of service came on my first night when a large storm passed through the resort. I had ordered room service dinner prior to the rain beginning; however, as the storm grew more powerful I figured that my food would (rightfully) be delayed as it would at almost any other hotel like this with open villas. To my astonishment, ten minutes into the terrible storm, I hear a knock on my door with all of my food and the kitchen staff waiting there for me - to say I was taken aback was an understatement. This level of service is exhibitive of the quality of this resort in all its facets. I cannot recommend this place enough to those traveling to El Salvador, if only for one evening, to experience the finest of what this country has to offer both in ambiance and in friendliness.

The property is beyond beautiful. On sloping jungle cliffs, surrounded by verdant rainforest. Incredibly relaxing. Even though it was a torrential rainfall our entire stay (as in a national emergency level rain event), it was incredibly pleasant with Rosa (the GM) and the staff being standouts for their excellent service and attention. The villas are huge and comfortable and also have wonderful vistas of the surrounding area. The black sand beach and salt water pool are just a few of the several nooks and crannies you can walk to across the resort to relax and hang out in. The food and drinks absolutely delicious. Just an absolute joy of a resort. Would give it 6/5 stars.

I stayed here with my wife and two small children and we were in heaven. Rosa is a very warm, gracious host and was seemingly ever-present to accommodate us and the children. The entire staff reflects Rosas heart and professionalism. We miss the food, chefs and waitstaff dearly. The combination of being in a villa in a jungle overlooking the sea makes the locale of this hotel world-class and the sunset beach walks, cave-explorations and iguana sightings will be remembered forever! Every trip to El Salvador in our future will include a stay at Paraiso Escondido!

This hotel is a true gem. My husband found it a couple of years ago and I it has become our favourite place to stay. The location and views are breathtaking. The villas and grounds are amazing. The food is always delicious and fresh. What makes this great place even more special , is Rosa and her amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. And they make you feel like family. Because they treat each other like family as well. We are booking this years trip again. If you’re planning a trip to El Salvador I highly recommend that you stay there.

This boutique hotel is phenomenal! It sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. The views, especially sunrise and sunset are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The bar and restaurant overlook the ocean and the food is delicious. Rosa, the manager, deserves 5* too!! She is incredibly friendly, welcoming and ensures that your stay is truly memorable. El Salvador is a beautiful country and/but we would return just to stay in this wonderful hotel!!!

We had an incredible experience during my three-day stay at "Paraiso Escondido" in San Salvador. This place is truly remarkable. As soon as you step onto the grounds, you feel your blood pressure drop. You're surrounded by a lush, green forest filled with native birds, and then it opens up to reveal a breathtaking view of the ocean. It's pristine, serene, and free from noise pollution. You can hear the waves and smell the salt in the air. The staff, especially Roxanne, went above and beyond to make my stay fantastic. Rosie, who manages this unique boutique hotel, is amazing. She helped us with transportation, tours, and anything I needed to ensure my stay was fantastic. Even when "green mangos" weren't in season, she managed to find five of them for me and had the chef prepare them – that's top-notch service. We stayed in the Onyx Villa, a two-bedroom, two-story accommodation with a stunning ocean view. At night, you can hear the waves crashing, and you get to witness the most incredible sunsets. This place has become our new go-to spot. It's absolutely fantastic.

Reading some reviews comparing this to other more popular destinations and then saying it was better…. I’m now a believer. The value of this property, the accommodations, the pristine powder black beach, and the food are all world class. Things to expect: beach is rough and will pull you but there’s a large shelf to walk and a few caves to explore. They put chairs down based on guests at low tide with umbrellas. It’s very exclusive and the views are dramatic worth getting into the water some to look back on the landscape. You cannot go to the beach at high tide. The saltwater natural pool lets you avoid waves so it’s very unique and worth a visit. Lookout points and hammocks set at places on the resort, we particularly liked having a beer at the pergola area midway down to the beach. The pool is constantly cleaned. And the infinity edge allows a great view down to the crashing waves, great during high tide times or at night. The room: Large, your own private space with plenty of places to lounge and see. Deck is amazing for slow times and personal space and the crashing of the ways is so calming. One complaint mirrors an earlier review (but it’s so minor and helps them save energy) just remember when power is off to the villa phones won’t charge AC won’t cool your room. So after a day trip it takes a bit to be comfortable again. Shower only got to warm water but if yours is cold just play around with the temperature settings and don’t slam it to all the way hot. Ours in the turquesa villa was warm in between the hot and cold and that was as hot as it got. The food: gourmet, on par with higher end dining across the world. Was pleasantly surprised and very happy trying different items, don’t be afraid that it’s your only place to eat. Variety and takes more than 5 days to get bored of the food. Micheladas and pupusas exist but off menu. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, service is 5 star Rosa and Javier took care of us. Prices are great, you just sign a bill to your room for the tab for the day, very convenient. This country and resort need to be more talked about, and visited. Security is at the top armed and ready and we felt save the whole time, even in downtown San salvador. Put this resort on your list! Consider it over the known all inclusive places, I enjoyed this experience much better.
