I stayed for 3 nights in a 5th floor Standard Twin room in the Ocean Wing side of the resort. The Ocean Wing has 6 floors, and is older than the Coral Wing, which has 9 stories. While the Coral Wing apparently has wider views, the view from my room was nevertheless spectacular. Given the hotel faces West there’s a great view of the sunset from the ocean-view rooms. I also liked that my Ocean Wing room had wood floors. It was very spacious with 2 very comfortable double beds and a small seating area. The bathroom has shutters that you can open in order to see the view. A nice bonus was the beautiful Okinawa Botanicals bathroom products. While this is not a luxury resort, and the building and facilities are a bit dated, it is very well maintained. The grounds are gorgeous, with beautiful trees and gardens (and a very small golf course). The Yonaha-Maehama Beach on which the resort sits, is perfect - soft white sand and crystal clear water. You can access the beach on the south side of the resort only. There are lots of beach chairs and umbrellas maintained by the resort. I met a few staff who spoke good English, and with the others I had no problems communicating using the iPhone Translate app. The staff are so kind - absolutely every staff will greet you as you go by. I loved the restaurants, especially the barbecue restaurant. Also the buffet breakfast (included, you can also choose traditional Japanese breakfast) was excellent - I loved the fresh lychee and other fruits, omelette bar and espresso machine. I rented an electric-assist bike from the hotel’s beach club (¥1,000/hr) to explore Kurina-Jima, which was tons of fun. it was great having the 24-hour coin laundromat on site (wash ¥200, laundry soap provided). There are coin dryers or there was a full drying rack in the room, which was very convenient. The only thing I didn’t love about this resort was the pool. There’s unfortunately a raised platform that blocks most of the view of the ocean from the pool. I only saw kids and their parents use it during my stay. Fortunately the gorgeous beach is only steps away… Overall I found this resort to be super relaxing and excellent value for the price.

On the first day, I walked to the hotel without knowing about the shuttle bus, but since it's hot, I recommend making a reservation and using the shuttle bus.
I went to the evening buffet, which seems to be irregular. (Reservation required) It seems that there are days when they serve Japanese food and days when they serve Western food. It's nice to be able to take a break in your room after coming back from the beach and eat in the hotel.
I enjoyed the buffet in the bright and clean restaurant both in the morning and at night ^ ^
There was also a pool, and although I didn't book a particularly large room, I had a comfortable stay.

The space was spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The building was old, but it was kept clean so there were no inconveniences. The sea is right in front of the accommodation, so it's great for swimming.
The inconvenience was that you had to take a car to the resort next door to eat breakfast and use the swimming pool.

The hotel is one of the hotels in the entire Shigira Resort. The resort is very large and there are many things to do. There are free tuk-tuks or buses connecting each hotel to the ropeway and beach, which is very convenient. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Miyako Airport. No reservation is required for pick-up, it is right at the arrival exit; drop-off needs to be booked at the front desk. There are golden hot springs, ropeways and other facilities around. There are turtles in the bay at the door, and there are many kinds of marine sports. We signed up for paddle board and free diving tour. The room itself has a washing machine, which is very important. Go into the water several times a day, and wash wet clothes quickly. It also has its own kitchen, large refrigerator, oven, and coffee machine. The air conditioning is very powerful.
Disadvantages: This family room is in Habor Wing, the facilities are old, the floor is still bulging, and although the cleaning is timely, cockroaches are found. The bedding is not very comfortable.

We were quite apprehensive prior to our stay here as the ratings were quite low and some scathing for a Hilton resort hotel that opened about a year ago. There were even some minor hiccups during check-in that confirmed our prior bias to the negative. However, all that changed rather quickly night after night. And to make a long story short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay there without hesitation if we were to return to the beautiful island of Miyakojima. In hind sight, I believe the hotel went through some early growing pains when they opened in June 2023. The island itself, much like other rural areas of Japan, is going through seismic demographic changes, leaving it with a shortage of local workers--most of their employees are either from the main island of Honshu or from overseas. After their initial launch, they seem to have made significant changes ironing out those early wrinkles. And this may always be a work in progress for any establishment for that matter: There were some issues we noticed with the lines for breakfast. Hilton Diamond members are able to make advanced breakfast reservations, whereas non-Diamond members are not thereby having to wait in line for breakfast that can be quite long. The issue here is that there is no separate line for the Diamond members, so when they go to the front to inform of their reservation, those waiting in line think they're cutting in (as they don't know what's going on and they're frustrated with the long lines to begin with) setting the stage for some potential 'fireworks' (angry customers) that actually happened during our stay. My suggestion to alleviate this would be--and I've seen this done at other Hiltons--to have 2 clearly delineated lines with signs: one for Diamond members with reservations, and the other for non-Diamond members. This way the staff doesn't have to keep explaining to the others waiting that some customers have reservations, and, the Diamond members won't feel bad going straight to the front ahead of the others waiting in long lines. Service at every function we experienced was great, we had no issue with the DIY bottling of drinking water, the swimming/walking at beach was fantastic, parking was abundant, and to top it off, we were blessed with favorable weather.
All rooms have ocean views, and we have relaxing guest rooms available according to the number of guests.
Located about 13 minutes by car from Miyako Airport and about 20 minutes by car from Shimojishima Airport, it is a convenient location for sightseeing and business.

We stayed for 7 nights in early December. First of all, the front desk, restaurant, room cleaners, etc. were all well-educated and welcomed me comfortably, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. I asked for a box because I had to leave early in the morning for golf, but the chef's attention was wonderful and it was a very heartfelt breakfast. In addition, pasta which we ate in lounge was very delicious. Izakaya on the island is good, but I think dinner in the hotel lounge is also good. The location is also highly recommended.

This was my second visit.
Last time, the breakfast was very delicious and I was able to do it.
i've been taking care of you this time, santa monica.
and also celebrated his birthday
It was a very nice memory, such as a very nice room, a birthday present and a photo service.
Breakfast was delicious.
It was a marathon day, so I was sorry I couldn't eat it calmly.
Every year, I'm looking forward to taking care of my favorite ones rental car, which is cheap, and snorkeling on the shore of Shinjo, and playing with the underwater aquarium 🐠 turtles. Every year, I'm taking care of you, Santa Monica, and I'm going to have a better service and a good meal.
I'll come back to play again.
It was very good

I stayed at the mirage Bayside several times, so this time I stayed at the beach front newly established in 2024. There was a feeling of condominium in an overseas resort, and I was able to spend a clean and very cozy time. Excellent access to Shigira Beach just by going down the stairs. However, it may be convenient to stay at the Bayside for breakfast venues, pool size, hotel shops, etc.

This was my second stay in 2020.
I was able to fully enjoy Miyakojima in the off-season. Thank you to all the staff.
One thing that bothered me was that the pescatore I ordered at the restaurant didn't taste like seafood stock at all, and it felt like seafood was on top of tomato pasta.

周周Because I come to Japan for a holiday every year, I can feel the service and thoughtfulness of Japan's top hotels. Therefore, I booked the best and most expensive hotel in Okinawa and the most expensive set - St. Geely. (Valued at around 1 million yen, discounted RMB including tax of nearly 60,000 per night) Ten days before staying at the hotel, the hotel will contact me via email and Ctrip customer service to arrange various service introductions, including exclusive The private butler pick-up and pick-up machine will take you on a tour of Miyako Island and the surrounding islands, taking you on a smooth day at the finest beaches in Japan to enjoy the sun, blue sky and calm sea level windsurfing. Breakfast meals during the stay can be enjoyed in the room. Japanese or Western style is served. Champagne is served by the pool for breakfast. Japanese-style beef rice is selected for Chinese food, and the Japanese rice is delicious with Miyako beef. The dinner restaurant offers seven special restaurants, including Japanese creation, Japanese Teppanyaki, Cantonese cuisine, Little Sheep hot pot, Italian cuisine. Sushi and Japanese izakaya are available. Because I only stayed on the island for two nights, depending on the taste and choice of Japanese creation and Japanese teppanyaki, exquisite cooking and providing a quiet and exclusive dining environment, the intimate service makes you feel distinguished and luxurious. There are three separate master bedrooms on the upper and lower floors. There are two downstairs master bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs, which can accommodate three families. However, I am more extravagant. Although the number is not enough, each room sleeps for one night. To make up for the vacancy of the room. The master bedroom has a separate toilet and bath tub, shower and the main bedroom has an open-air bath. The outdoor swimming pool, sauna steaming, open-air bed, subtropical plants and the sea in front of you can truly feel the exclusivity and indulgence. The weather is fine at night, full of stars, bathing in the open-air bath and looking up at the stars, listening to the waves of the waves, very comfortable. There is also a 90-minute Japanese-style spa every night, so you can relax and be relaxed. A variety of snacks and cold drinks are available in the room, just take a bag. The three-day and two-night trip to Miyako Island made me feel very deep. Some friends said that it is too extravagant to live in this hotel, but I think money and time are not wasted on good things and feelings. Because the hotel feels so beautiful, so for the first time left a footprint on Ctrip, the text is rough and please advise. Finally, it is recommended to recommend this room type to the rich and leisurely local friends [smile] (Note: all consumption in the hotel is included in the room rate)
ナナムンOriginally planned for 5 nights, but there were no restaurants or convenience stores around the hostel, so I stayed for 2 nights and moved to the downtown area. The location was a bit disappointing for me as a short-term traveler, but the atmosphere of the hostel was so good, and the owner Atsushi Award and other staff were all friendly, so the location was not important.
The yabiji skin diving with the Atsushi prize and the Pao prize that took me to the farm to show beautiful flowers at night are all memorable. It was so comfortable for the two days I spent in Koa.
It's a pity that I couldn't say hello because I checked out early in the morning. Next time I come to Miyakojima again, I'm going to stay in Koa, so I'll say hello at that time.
GGuest UserYou can see the lively harbor and Irabu Island from the room. The sunset is on the left, but unfortunately there is a Hilton Hotel (under construction) and you cannot worship the sunset. The room is quite small if it is not superior, there is only a 20 centimeter vacancy between the bed and the sofa, and there is no closet, so it feels like walking while hitting when you put a suitcase in the vacant part. It's a shame that the air conditioner was full of black mold and had a strange odor, and the bathroom smelled of sewage. When it rained, the corridor was flooded and left as it was. I expected breakfast because there was a picture of smoothies on the hotel image, but there was no such thing at all and it was like a cheap business hotel. I didn't provide hot water and I thought I wasn't thinking about anything because there was nothing but coffee. There was Japanese food, but the only thing that was delicious was miso soup and the rest was a bag-packed side dish. It was unusual for a hotel that did not serve Okinawa cuisine so far because it was served Japanese food. I think I wanted to give a Western-style fashionable feeling. For resort stay purposes, we do not recommend it except for rooms with high prices. Under Superior is small and you are at a loss in the luggage storage area. The location of the hotel was good because it was close to the downtown area about 15 minutes walk. However, the parking lot is full soon and the second parking lot is quite far away, so if you have heavy luggage, you should avoid going out from the evening.
PPatty LGreat location if you want to stay in the middle of town surrounded by eateries. Two of my favorites in Miyako are right across the street: 南楽 - izakaya and ラトゥール (La Tour) - cake shop specializing in many kinds of cheese cakes. Then Bistro Pierrot - french cuisine around 3 streets away should also not be missed. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and staff friendly. Rooms are of good size though amenities are rather basic. Good thing they have free laundry machines and dryers in the corridors, and breakfast included. However, for a longer stay, I would prefer personally to stay closer to nature on this beautiful island.
PPassenger654294The first floor had a pine rental car, and the second floor was a guest room. It looks more like an apartment than a hotel, but it has a gas stove, washing machine, bathroom dryer, microwave oven, electric kettle, tableware, etc., so you can travel like living. There is a JA-Tarasu market nearby, so it is convenient to buy ingredients and souvenirs. The room is clean and comfortable. The view from the room is not good, but if you drive a little, you will be satisfied because it is an island with a superb view point everywhere.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great! Located in the downtown area of Miyakojima, there are many restaurants nearby, and there is a family convenience store about 200 meters on foot, which is very convenient. The hotel offers a free taxi reservation service, and tourists who can make their own calls can make a taxi reservation call at the front desk. The hotel is very close to Sand Mountain, about 1,000 yen by taxi and 5-6 minutes away. The hotel rooms are large and have a washing machine. The washing machine is very user-friendly and is useful for tourists to clean the sand left on their clothes after the beach.
GGuest UserThe staff was very helpful.

The airport bus is in front of the hotel..
Many restaurants around.
