📍 847 Misasa, Misasa-cho, Tohaku-gun, Tottori Prefecuture, Misasa

"Because it's a small inn with limited capacity, and meals are served in private rooms, we hardly encountered other guests, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. Given its location, I recommend a secluded stay within the inn rather than visiting other hot springs or exploring the town. I also experienced the ondol (underground heating) system at the inn for the first time. It's more comfortable than a sauna and less painful than a hot stone bath (because you lie on a bench), so I highly recommend it."

Misasakan ★★★★
"I was very satisfied with the modern room. The room was very spacious, and I even used the private hot spring bath in the room, which was also quite large. Dinner was plentiful and delicious, and although the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, the quality was good. Both breakfast and dinner were served in separate rooms, ensuring a quiet and private dining experience."

"Traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel, with nice delicious Japanese-style cuisines for breakfast and dinner. Location is not too near JR station, but it just takes around 15-minute drive or 30-minute bus to get there. They also provide drop off / pickup shuttle bus service. Will consider returning again!"

"We went as a couple. The food was delicious and we were very satisfied with our eyes, tongue and stomach. Not only dinner but also breakfast was more than enough for New Year's Day, with ozoni and other New Year's dishes. We would like to go again. Thank you very much."

"The room, food, bath, and service were all excellent. There were a few disappointing things. There was a stink bug when I opened the curtains in the room. The ventilation fan in the toilet wasn't working. Other than these two things, I have no complaints! It was a wonderful stay!"

Misasa Royal Hotel ★★★★
"Very traditional, authentic Japanese hot spring hotel. The hotel environment is a bit historical. Since I had already referenced the pictures online in advance, I didn't expect too much. The dinner buffet was rich, but breakfast was not lost. But more than 95% of hotels are Japanese, so non-foreign tourists will be the first choice hotel. So you can enjoy it. If the price includes one night and two meals. Basically good value for money. In addition the hot spring is very comfortable, the interior facilities are plentiful. Outdoor bathing is superior to indoor, less cramped. Since you can't take pictures, you can refer to the hotel website to see the relevant pictures."
