I wish I could leave a lower review than 1. My car was vandalized in the parking lot and even though the hotel staff KNEW at 7:30 am and sent people out to INSPECT the smashed out rear window THEY DID NOTHING. I went out to the car to load up and found at 3:00 pm and discovered the smashed window. Had the staff done even the bare minimum about contacting me arrangements could have been made to have the window repaired or at least covered properly before I went to load up for the 4 hour drive home. According to the hotel personnel, they have NO intercom system, NO way of tracking license plates of guests and apparently NO person capable of walking into the conference center, announcing the license plate number and asking the owner to come to the front desk. If they have NO INTERCOM system how do you suppose they react to a missing child in the water park or some other type of emergency? Add to that a room that has seen better days with a loose, wobbly shower door, no anti slip flooring in the shower and an extremely long wait for hot water and this is definitely a hotel to be avoided. Minot has much nicer ones.

This hotel has seen better days. The rooms are dated and appear to be falling apart in general, with many other issues (light bulbs missing from lamps, ac units not functioning properly, remote backs missing, appliances not working properly). The pool area continues to worsen with only 2 out of 3 waterslides functioning, an attraction in the baby/toddler area only half working and just the overall condition causes concern about cleanliness of the whole pool area. I think our family will search for an alternative for future visits.

We checked in on July 16th. The room was a decent size, but there was only one chair in it. Sitting on the bed for any length of time hurt both our backs, so it was uncomfortable being in the room for any length of time. Breakfast on the 17th was unimpressive. I had to let staff know they were out of food, then found out they had no sausages or bacon. The eggs and potatoes tasted fine. Butter and pepper were not refilled, and two of the three juice options were not working. When we returned to the room, we discovered there had been no service. We saw the sign when we got to the room that they only refreshed towels every three days, but thought the coffee supplies would be restocked. No, they aren’t. You are responsible for tracking down the maids to get whatever supplies are needed, or calling the front desk each morning to tell them what you need so they can have the maid bring it to your room. Yeah, that’s really efficient. We didn’t go for breakfast on the 18th, but tried it again on the 19th. This time there was lots of food available. On the positive side, the fridge kept our drinks ice cold and the room was quiet - but the hotel wasn’t nearly full. Far too many negatives about the property, though, so we will definitely not stay here if we return to Minot.

Sleep inn used to be a gem. Now its being held together by hope and some tape. Lived in minot the majority of my life. I was here when this was built. We havnt been back in 6 years and I wanted to bring my kids to have No fun was had. We booked the suite (sleeps 5) for 6 days. Upon check in we noticed a few things that we would usuallly look past, but for the sake of my review in total- im going to add them in. We are on the opposite side of the pool so I don't understand how it's so musty in our room. My husband needed to utilize the business center for a business call and it had a bunch of random stuff as if its a storage room and you aren't supposed to be in there but the room key did open the door. HALLWAYS- the carpet is filthy and worn. The walls are dinged to hell. The moulding is falling off. ROOMS- As you can see the room intself is in total disrepair. From the clothes rod being rusty to the mirror frame being chipped The toilet paper roll isn't even screwed into the wall and loosely hangs there. It is extremely outdated. Again, huge dents and dings in the walls, paint missing, damp carpet in our room (our entire stay and no we didnt go swimming). The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows collapse Into nothing and you end up with neck pain. The area under the beds are torn and worn and look awful. The lampshades are cracked and broken. There are zero USB ports in the room for charging electronics. There are a few plug ins. BATHROOM- There is a very strange shower we called the "bubble" shower. There are no corners in it and its a little discombobulating to be in. There is a singular, small pseudo shelf in the shower but there is an angle to it so whatever you set on it, slides off. The shower has mold, mildew, and rust, and the caulk is peeling off. There are no towel hooks in the bathroom and one rack for towels to sit for display which is also loose on the wall. We had to hang our towels on chairs and set our change of clothing on the closed toilet lid while we showered. Horrible set up! You cant change clothing outside of the room with the shower because there isnt a door there and a mirror placed in the main room which will show your entire body to the main family area of the suite. The toilet barely flushes and then constantly runs unless you stand there and jiggle the handle for a bit. We originally had 4 towels on check in, for a room of 5 and are making it work as we aren't complainers by nature. But they aren't refreshing the towels each day. More on this below. We pulled out the couch for our teenager (our 5th person) to sleep on and it's filthy, ripped and broken. Our child cut his foot on the broken metal while he was putting on the sheet. Luckily we had a first aid kit with us and i stopped bleeding and got it dressed up, amd luckily he just got a tetanus shot. We went to the front desk to let them know it's broken and they sent a maintenance guy within 30 minutes who came in to take a look. He opened the b

We decided on Minot as a quick mini family vacation; therefore, chose the Sleep Inn for convenience to the mall (specifically for Target and the arcade). We got our room for a very good rate, yet between a number of charges (all different amounts), my credit card was over maxed from Sleep Inn charges. The front desk staff had no idea why and said it must be my banks fault (which it was NOT). I was also told there was a "fee" that is charged at check in and once you check out you will get the fees refunded back... 2 months later, and I have yet to see these fees refunded back to my credit card. The mall access was closed, so we had to go upstairs through the pool entrance then down to access the mall door. Only 1 out of 3 waterslides were working; the kids were quite disappointed in that. The phone in our room didn't have a cord, so I had to use the phone next room over to call to order pizza (we aren't from the US and did not want to use our cell phones because of extra charges). The rooms were bad; incredibly outdated, rough looking, and dirty!! Our fridge was not plugged in so we pulled it out to plug in and the amount of grossness behind it was God awful. Our bed sheets had what looked like fecal stains/soils on it; got clean sheets from the front desk and changed them. The walls are pretty beat up; dents, knicks, cracks, even mold in the bathroom. On one of the walls beside the bed, there was boogers on the wall (my husband got close enough to look to confirm).... We've stayed here multiple times in the past, and this would be our last time staying here.

We’ve come to this location for years. A fun, close getaway to get in some American shopping. This will be our last stay unfortunately. A few things. This hotel is so run down and tired. I understand the pandemic was hard but this hotel desperately needs some upgrades. Mainly to the pool and waterslide area. Panels or the wall are peeling and mould is apparent. It’s in deplorable conditions. Only one functioning waterslide and peeling paint everywhere. The bedding and pillows and beds in the room, same condition, holes, lumpy, falling apart. The bathroom and shower situation were awful. No pressure in the shower after our first night (we stayed 3 nights, painful with 3 females in our family). The hotel is so loud (I get it, caters to family and children) but the running and screaming in hallways all night (well until 930/10 each night). Paper thin walls. The heating unit was strange in the room too. In order to get some heat the first day, we had to crank it up to mid-80’s. The other major disappointment, the corridor to the mall was closed. We had to walk outside to get to the mall. I get it. Floods happen. But no advance heads-up or even mention at check in. That’s one of the biggest features of the hotel. Same thing with the one waterslide being down. This is now a one waterslide property near the mall, not connected. Trying something new for our Nov long weekend next year!

I don’t usually write negative reviews and hope that if I ever have a bad experience somewhere it is just a one off, but I felt compelled to write a review for this atrocious hotel! I hope other people read these numerous awful reviews for this place and STAY AWAY!!! Filthy, staff were unprofessional, unknowledgeable and just plain rude, outdated, and did I mention FILTHY?! This location is convenient but that is literally all it has going for it. NEGATIVE 5 star review……never again!

We will NEVER stay here again!! I booked our room directly to front desk 3 weeks prior to our stay and specifically asked for 2 ADJOINING rooms. The guy I spoke with said he made the notation on our reservation as they don’t assign rooms until morning of checkin. I also called the morning we were leaving to be sure and the snotty girl said she would do her best. Upon our arrival we checked in and when we got up to the rooms , NO they were not adjoining I went back down to front desk and the guy supposedly the supervisor, very arrogantly said there was nothing he could do. I was not letting it go and asked to speak to the mgr. Of course who wasn’t there. The other guy standing there looked in computer finally and said he would reassign us adjoining rooms. He apparently is the assistant mgr. The hotel is disgusting it’s dirty, outdated and cracks in sinks. The pool area is disgusting and funny enough my daughter and my grandson both came down with ear infections! I don’t think the carpets in the rooms have ever been cleaned and friends of ours said when he went to make coffee, the coffee packet was still in machine from prior guests and had mold in it. Two of us also had problems running to the bathroom after eating their breakfast. We just had a disgusting stay!!!’ My dogs that we left at a kennel had a cleaner place to stay. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE STAY HERE!!

Room wasn’t clean and smelled like a hamster cage — floors needed to be vacuumed, there was garbage on the tv stand, comforter was dirty, curtains were filthy, furniture was chipped and old… the door security latch literally broke off. How? No idea! Door slammed shut and it broke off the frame. Was told by the handyman that it was one of “the most common thing that breaks”. Ummm that’s not great for safety at all. The hallways needed to be vacuumed. Was told that NO ROOMS are pet-free because people “sneak pets in all the time”. Shower was clean, which was nice. Bathroom floor needed to be washed. All in all, this was incredibly disappointing and laughable for $250 CDN a night. My friend’s room was in the same condition. Dirty and didn’t smell great. And, her two young daughters only went to the pool/water slides for about 30 mins because the water was cold and the slides felt unsafe.
