Nice Hotel, in need of some modernisation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, and good size bathroom. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious.

I’ve stayed at the Northfield 4 or 5 times now. Love this hotel. It’s near a great open space park and a few steps from the sea front. My favourite part of my stay is the lovely warm pool. Staff are always polite and helpful and the breakfast is great and plentiful

This isn't a 5 star, chrome and glass hotel, but a hotel that has genuine old English charm, that makes for a very comfortable and relaxed stay. The rooms are fine, the food is good quality, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the value is excellent. Don't go expecting all the bells and whistles, and looking for everything to be pristine, but revel in its character and charm and you will have a very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay, great value and the whole family enjoyed it. Excellent pool, nice dinner and great breakfast. The room was ideal for the 4 of us and bunk beds were big enough for the children. I’d say it’s definitely worth a visit

If you enjoy an English cooked breakfast give this hotel a miss, eggs were over cooked cold with broken yolks. Asking for a hard cold fried to be replaced with a hot egg with a runny yolk it was replaced with a cold hard egg, complaining made no difference. I have never before be served such poorly cooked breakfasts.

Weird, fusty smell as soon as you enter the hotel. Looked more like a care home. Dirty carpets, old furniture zipped up single beds, request for oat milk in room not given on second night. Deathly silence in the bar!

Perfectly located within easy walking for the beach, Minehead and the surrounding areas. The food is of decent quality, but the cooking was somewhat lacking. Staff were all very friendly. However, there is a major need for attention to detail with regard to their efficiency, cleaning of the tables, glasses and cups. Stayed in a De-Luxe room. Comfortable bed and bedroom. Unfortunately, there were 'NO' usable plugs for hairdryer or phone charger. Bathroom cleanliness was extremely poor with certain windows covered in black mould, others covered in cobwebs and the effectiveness of the shower was atrocious. Suffice to stay we will not be returning.

The hotel was chosen for a overnight stop on our way to our main holiday. Food was very good ,rooms clean but in need of a makeover, staff friendly, and swimming pool handy. Dog friendly which is why the hotel was chosen .I would not dissmis from going again.

Third time we have stayed here on a 7 night break.near to town centre and 5 mins to harbour.lovely place to stay.The room is very well presented and clean.with everything available that you will need.Bed is very comfortable so guaranteed a good nights sleep.The hosts Nicki and Neil are a lovely people and are on hand for advice or what ever you need.
