I recently stayed at Casa de Cecilia in Mindo, Ecuador, and it was wonderful. The place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Sitting by the river that runs through the property was a highlight—I loved listening to the water and watching the birds in the garden. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. It’s a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Very nice guesthouse in fantastic location just steps from Mindo center. The communication with hotel was excellent, they were very responsive. Antony organized a car to pick us up from Quito and later to take us to Otavalo for a very good price. The car was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly, bed comfortable. The room was a bit basic for my taste, but the guesthouse has a nice vibe and for the location it is a great deal!

Amazing place, great staff, and superb setting! The economy rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom, but the bed was great and lots of windows. They arranged everything for us at a better rate than we could get. So much to do here, we stayed 4 extra days! Highly recommend!

The our room and the property were very nice. A mix of feeling in the forest but having all the facilities we needed to feel comfortable. It was also very easy to walk into town from our the hostel.

The staff, and in particular, Savied, was EXTREMELY helpful. The rooms were beautiful, the settiing idyllic (you can hear the stream running through the property) and the location central to everything. We needed help setting up some activities, and Savied made it so easy. This is a great place to stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights in June In a private room. The room was basic but comfortable. Beautiful views across the river and gardens. The gardens are beautiful perfect for relaxing in a hammock, bird watching or dipping your feet in the river and reading a book. Breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. Coffee wasn’t great. It would have been nice to have a sign up to say when breakfast was. All in all a great stay.

Convenient hostel with hot water and good rooms. More great were the owners who didn't just help me find the birdwatching I went too, but went with me for a whole day and advised me how to get the best photos, all for a joke price. I feel really lucky choosing this hostel and recommend for all!
