Minamiaso Hotels with Breakfast

On my trip to Aso Volcano, I stayed at Asunara Resort this time. Their mushroom house is very cute and can accommodate 4 people. The bathroom is very narrow and tall people may bump their heads. The dressing room outside is also very small. It is also easy for others to see when changing clothes. Speaking of entertainment facilities, there are hot springs and steam rooms. But you have to pay for it at your own expense, ¥3000 all-inclusive. The farmhouse and game facilities are also charged separately. Remember to arrange the time for the activities. Check-in at the resort is at 4 o'clock and check-out at 10 o'clock. The zoo enters at 9 o'clock and closes at 5 o'clock. I usually pick up a room in the afternoon after visiting the volcano, and then visit the zoo the next day (at my own expense). In the end, I give up visiting the zoo, which is a pity.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you will be greeted warmly. The waiter was smiling, spoke politely, and had no problem communicating in simple English. The hotel is not new, but it is well maintained, clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax and have a rest. Facing Mount Aso, the scenery is beautiful. The room is large, has a private hot spring in the room, and the dinner is rich and delicious. It's about half an hour's drive from Aso Nakadake. It's highly recommended if you're chartering a car or traveling by car.

Although I didn’t go because of the typhoon problem and special sudden reasons, I will definitely become a place that makes me dream. I want to go to Aso Volcano with my good friend and go to the Thousand Grassland to stay in the sum. I think so. Good, I hope I have a chance to dream come true. The hotel service staff is very kind. I called before I made an appointment. I had a little breakfast in advance. I asked if I could think of a way to get through. Although it was very difficult, I would do it for me as much as possible. 本來是想去黑川温泉的，可惜太熱門，好的酒店全部訂完，找備選方案時意外留意到了南阿蘇村，知名度雖然沒有黑川那麼響，但綜合指數一點不落下。 交通方面，從熊本坐豐肥本線到肥厚大津再換同線路車到立野站，也有車次能直達立野站，但車次不多，大部分還是到肥厚大津的，得換一次。另外要注意，立野站不能刷ic卡，所有卡都不能，坐車去立野站記得買乘車券，進站時千萬別刷卡。到立野站後再換南阿蘇鐵路，這是條主打海賊王的私鐵線路，很有特色，沿途風景也很治癒，算是個景點。注意南阿蘇鐵路也不能刷卡，後門上車拿整理券，前門下車付現即可，沒零錢的可以用車上的兩替機兑換，很方便。離酒店最近的車站是白水高原站（hakusui-kogen），可以提前和酒店聯繫好時間，他們可以來車站接的，如果嫌麻煩，也想自己走走看看日本農村景象，步行到酒店沿途走走拍拍照，我們大概花了1小時，後半程因為是爬坡會有些累。 景點方面，我們去了網紅的上色見熊野座神社，不虛此行，酒店也很貼心的幫忙接送到白水高原站，從這裏坐電車到高森站，再換產交巴士上色見環線就到了。酒店後山其實也挺好逛的，我們在地圖上找了個叫十六羅漢的古蹟，想去探探險，可惜疫情幾年沒有維護，上山的路壞了沒法走，但沿途風景還是不錯的。 餐飲方面，酒店包兩餐，都是在房間用餐。主菜有壽喜燒、小火鍋和蒸汽牛肉可選，配菜有生魚片刺身、馬肉刺身、鍋物、蒸物等，很豐盛，口味也不錯。 温泉方面，酒店特色就是每個房間有自己的私湯，應該更符合國人喜好，也適合情侶出行吧。住的幾天基本一天3泡，不要太舒服。

Minamiaso Kugino Onsen Wafu Ryokan Hanamomiji is located in Minamiaso and takes about 50 minute by car from JR Aso Station, near Mount Aso and Aso Shrine. It takes about 30 minute from the hotel to Kumamoto Airport by car. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow irons and humidifiers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a communal bath and an open-air bath. The hotel possesses 10 guest rooms.

It was the best location to see the stars! Starry sky tour, the best. There was a small planetarium, and some people were snoring in less than five minutes to a comfortable voice. The observatory's telescope has ２ and it's a little blurred, but I saw the stars explained in the planetarium. The starry sky observation in the grassland was warm in the sleeping bag, and the bonfire and hot drink were delicious. I could see the starry sky as I saw in the planetarium. I was surprised that the room was in the woods but there were no insects at all. The surroundings are rich in nature, and it is a very pleasant place to hear the voices of birds and frogs. The appearance and furniture were cute, and when I fell on the bed, I saw the stars from the skylight. The breakfast was very delicious, despite the suddenness. The water from the tap water is natural water from Aso, and when I take a bath, it smells soft and gentle. Amenities were also available and comfortable. It is a fairy tale nearby, and it is recommended to touch animals.

The layout of the entire hotel is more Japanese-style, but due to some cracks in the walls of the room, it looks a bit dilapidated. There is no power outlet near the bed, so it is extremely inconvenient to power the device away from the room. But there are several features of this hotel. The first is that dinner is Kaiseki cuisine. Anyone who needs to take off their shoes to enter the tatami will be assigned a seat by the staff to experience Japanese culture. The second is the open-air hot springs, which are open for a long time, allowing you to further the hot spring experience. Of course, there are also indoor hot springs. The last point is what I discovered when I went up to Aso Volcano. The hotel seems to have a bus that can go up to the volcano, but I only recognized the name of the hotel and it is not confirmed. Please help me confirm it. Although I don't have a good impression of this hotel, I can definitely try it at this price to experience kaiseki cuisine and open-air hot springs.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a peaceful and quiet location. It is in the village with not much disturbances. The owner is very helpful and try to answer your questions about bus and train services in the area. You can find some local restaurants nearby using your Google map. The restaurants are close around 3 to 4 pm most days. The closing hours for the restaurants are not accurate. This is a small town; if they don’t have costumers after a certain hours in the evening, they will be closed. Be mindful about that and come prepared with snacks and food!

There is no hot spring meal now, but it is comfortable to live!
