My experience with Valet was exceptional. Loni was so kind and has such a gentle spirit ñ. I am so glad she was there to take care of me on my trip to Milwaukee. Ray at the front desk was phenomenal. I don’t have the proper words to describe his level of knowledge, great spirit and kindness.

I booked 3 rooms at the Hotel Metro for a family birthday celebration. Hotel exceeded expectations in all ways. Rooms are beautifully appointed and HUGE. (My son asked if he got upgraded-couldn't believe that was the 'standard' king room). The location of the hotel is ideal-easy walk to the art museum and market and 3rd ward. Plenty of restaurants on the same block. Rooftop deck is adorable-super fun, great views, tiki themed with wonderful cocktails and mocktails. Could certainly spend several hours up there relaxing! Apart from the actual rooms and facilities at the hotel, I would recommend talking to Ray at the front desk. He is amazing and incredibly skilled and knowledgable. He managed to check a couple of us in early, get all of us on the same floor (hotel was close to capacity with a conference group), get the birthday girl an upgrade (fireplace room-very nice), and threw in a couple of breakfast vouchers as we are Bonvoy Platinum. He really went above and beyond and made the birthday celebration a success. (Including refrigerating the birthday cake!!!!). He is also great with recommendations on where to eat/things to do in the surrounding area. So, thank you Hotel Metro and thank you Ray! We will be back!

This hotel is seriously one of the most incredible hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are amazing, the staff is amazing, and the restaurant is incredible. It's actually one of my all time favorite hotels. I travel a great amount of the time and I haven't found a hotel better than the Hotel Metro. The rooms are huge!!!! You can't go wrong. Love the beds and the in room coffee. The staff is amazing. They have been so kind and helpful. Every staff member I have dealt with has a heart for service. The Restaurant is one of the best hotel restaurants i have seen. Large portions, great food. There wasn't one bad thing I had in the restaurant. If you have the opportunity do yourself a favor and stay at the Hotel Metro! Promise you will love it!

My husband and I only spent one night at the Metro and wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived in the morning hours before check in time. The helpful and friendly valet took care of our car and put our luggage in storage. Ray and Greg at the front desk were both welcoming and charming. We planned to visit the art museum but it was still a bit early so we settled into comfortable chairs in the beautiful lobby for a while. When we were preparing to leave Ray surprised us by handing over our room keys. Since we were early he put a rush on housekeeping so we could get in early. This is a superlative level of service which we hugely appreciated. We had a gorgeous suite on the sixth floor featuring a spacious sitting room with a fireplace, a comfortable king bed, large bathroom with double sinks, walk in shower and loads of space for toiletries. It was stylish, clean and looked new with all of the amenities we needed. We worried a bit about noise from the club, however there wasn’t live music the night we were there (they feature jazz on Tuesday and Friday), and we didn’t hear any noise overnight, so we slept soundly. After unpacking it was an easy walk to the museum and to a lovely path on the lake shore. We had a very good breakfast at the restaurant and liked our server. The young woman at check out was also very personable, so we greatly enjoyed our stay from start to finish.

Friendly staff, clean and classic hotel. Room climate was too warm and we could not get the room cool enough but were able to open one of the windows overnight. Pillows could be improved. Excellent valet service. Overall nice hotel would stay again.

Excellent hotel. The staff was wonderful. Our valet, Lonni, was professional and exceptional! Lobby is tastefully designed. Within the lobby of you went to relax or even read a book, you can do that. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back! Thank You!

Went up to Metro for a weekend getaway from Chicago. Comfy room, daughter loved running around. There is a kids park just around the corner that is great for after a car ride. Children's museum is just down the street, too. Valet is super convenient and friendly. Thanks Loni

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Staff was great and our valet Keyonte was very helpful. My spouse and I stayed there for a weekend to relax and are very satisfied with our choice. It is in an area of downtown close to many places to visit so we had lots to explore.

Great downtown location of a boutique hotel. Rooms are large, spacious and well appointed. Soaking bathtub and shower. Two bars and a dining room. Comfortable pillows and beds. Attentive staff. No noise from the streets. In room refrigerator and coffee maker, with ironing board.
