Awful - room just ok. Did not feel safe as a lone female traveller on business. Safety chain for the door broken off, door just about locked, room ok but damp. Room noisey can hear neighbours especially those above waking around and flushing chains. Honestly I thought premier inns were more or less sound proof! Never ever again. £137 a night too!! The restaurant stops serving food at 7pm. So glad I was told. Food wasn’t too bad although not that warm. Upholstery on chairs had seen far better days, sticky floor, dirty tables omg! Never ever again! Will not be recommending to colleagues and business partners. Plus side - staff were nice

The man that was serving breakfast was amazing, he was so busy but so professional. My son has a egg allergy so you can imagine a buffet breakfast can be a worry, he took all the stress away and gave us a allergy menu and then proceeded to take my sons order and had it cooked fresh so there would be no cross contamination.

I was completely shocked by the standard of the room - i have stayed in many room/ hotel before and this has to be the worst- the room looked like it was in the middle of being decorated- filler all over the walls in the main room and bathroom- but as it was only for the night i put up with it - it felt like it was a last let room - and they were not full - staff seem shocked when i arrived with a reservation- no interaction no small talk at all

We stayed at the Premier Inn Milton Keynes South last night and were warmly welcomed by Grace upon arrival. Her huge smile and efficient, polite manner set the tone for a pleasant stay. Due to my mobility issues, my private secretary had arranged for us to have room 3, which was conveniently located close to reception, and we appreciated that attention to detail. The room itself was nice and comfortable, but there were a couple of minor issues that prevented this from being a 5-star review. There was a bit of dust on the headboard, and the TV had a dangling wire for a USB movie attachment. Unfortunately, the required adapter to connect the male to female parts was missing, so we couldn’t use the USB feature. These were small annoyances in an otherwise lovely room. Before breakfast, we took an early morning walk by the lake as the sun began to rise. The misty surroundings were serene, despite the geese that had kept us up during the night still making their presence known. We even spotted some canoeists gliding through the mist, which made for a peaceful and picturesque start to our day. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. Everything was fresh and delicious—bacon, sausage, both scrambled and fried eggs, beans, hash browns—the works! The service was fantastic as well, and although we didn’t catch her name, the chef’s politeness and cheerful attitude really stood out. The food was so good, I couldn’t resist an extra helping of scrambled eggs and beans. Checkout was swift, and we made use of the electric car charger in the car park, which was reasonably priced at £0.79 per kWh—an added convenience for electric vehicle owners. Overall, Premier Inn Milton Keynes South offered a very pleasant stay with friendly service, great breakfast, and beautiful surroundings. With just a couple of minor improvements in the room, this would easily be a 5-star review. 4 stars.

With it's location next to a public park, lake and restaurant this hotel has the potential to be one of the best. Unfortunately it is starting to show it's age and just needs some investment and room modernising. The same can be said for the pub/grille next door. Whitworth's should buy it and turn it onto a Brewers Fayre.

The location is superb and it felt lovely and quiet for a relaxing nights sleep. Although the room met our needs, the curtains were broken and hanging off, and the bed linen had some unpleasant stains. A few chips in the wall just made it feel a little shabby. On a more positive note, the staff are excellent and the breakfast is first class. Also, the lakeside path outside is lovely to explore.

The Premier Inn Milton Keynes South is a lovely hotel beside a lake with waterfowl. It and the Caldecote Bar and Grill alongside (not owned by Premier Inn) are modern well-architected buildings built around an old windmill. Our room had a view over the lake, which was a huge improvement on the usual Premier Inn views over carparks and busy roads. We were especially impressed with the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and everything was cooked as it should be, and the dining room seemed really well managed. The croissants were amazing, much better than the usual buffet breakfast croissants. Best of all, the staff smiled at us and made us feel welcome, as well as checking that the breakfast was to our liking and asking if we needed anything. What a difference it makes to be looked after so well at breakfast.

Not far from MK centre, set on the side of a beautiful lake with plenty of free parking & a well rated pub next door! Pretty typical premier inn, we heard some rooms didn't have great ventilation? Our ground floor room was fine. Infact other than elephants in the room above, its quite a peaceful place. No road noise, good blackout curtain... Good nights sleep. Breakfast room built into the hotel was ok, we did wonder if the pub would have been better? Nothing else within walking distance. Only negative was that it was a bit tired, clean enough but paint flaking off walls, bathroom fan broken etc.. A good stop for a night or 2, but needs a bit of updating.
