Sleep Inn & Suites

This hotel is located around a corner up on a hill away from noise and traffic. It is well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and contained a lot of varied items. The service was prompt and kind. I highly recommend this motel.

I only give it a”2” because it was clean and new from the outside and the lobby was the same. When I ask if they gave a veteran discount, I was told no only active duty and that the only rooms that they had available was a pet room and no, I could not have that at a discount and it was at and at an elevated rate because there was a graduation going on in town in August? I found the receptionist to be cold and indifferent and almost bordering on rude and well I don’t wanna say anything bad about anybody so I won’t.

This was a great place to stay! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was great consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pastries, waffles, etc. We would stay here again.

Would rate it a 4.5 out of five if possible. This Sleep Inn is located a short distance from the busy highway in a quiet mountainous spot. A somewhat older hotel, yet the suite was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. Beds comfortable. Good continental breakfast. Spacious parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

On a recent road trip to Virginia, My Husband and I were looking for a place to stay on our way back home. Started looking in Middlesboro, Kentucky. chose the sleep because it looked nice and the price was definitely right. I was a little concerned having never stayed at a sleep in before. But this was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We had a king size suite which had a refrigerator and microwave and in room coffee. The shower was wonderful with plenty of towels. The full breakfast the next morning was great with eggs, sausage biscuits, fruit, yogurt, hot, and cold cereal, and waffles . The staff was friendly and accommodating, and even slid the receipt under the door the next morning. I would definitely consider a sleep in again based on this experience. Plus the price was right at $134 a night.

Probably the best stay of any in all our travels. Ladies at the front desk were friendly and efficient. Lady taking care of breakfast room was super. Everything was clean and she kept the food stocked up. The location was very quiet. 1/2 mile up a hill all by itself. Surrounded by woods. Yet the Walmart was very close. Don’t go anywhere else.

It's good to know that even though you always support local when tragedy strikes, this hotel could give a damn less about you. Been a choice number for many, many years and nowed out of my home road clos d. No place to stay. I called this hotel. Coincidentally they own all three in town and I was told it doesn't matter if it's a weather emergency, if your house burns down and you have no place to stay, they will absolutely refuse to rent to you if you live within 60 miles... No we have and no. What kind of b******* hotel pulls that?!? I have manyQNY credit card even tons of cash in hand. I was still told doesn't matter you live too close... I only hope that the owner of this hotel has some kind of tragic incident that happens to him and somebody turns their back on them!!! I will say the very nice lady at the front desk. It was either Irene or Eileen was very sympathetic. Tried to get the manager to speak to me and understood my plight. Whoever she was talking to didn't even have the guts to speak to me themselves, but absolutely refused to remove this stupid ass rules. IT'S CALLED EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES BUT but don't worry I'm reported you and I won't let this go unnoticed. And just so you won't know it is their policy. However, according to choice hotels THOSE REQUIREMENTS ARE TO BE REMOVED WHEN THERE'S EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES.

The place is clean and the staff is super. Its on the higher end for a Sleep Inn. I would compare to a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was provided daily. Its good for a hotel, the lady in charge was wonderful. I have also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next door. They are very comparable, I would choose the one with the better price. Sleep in is pet friendly and on the first floor.

Nice hotel and great front desk staff. The room was clean, and the shower was very nice. Beds were comfortable also. Breakfast was delicious. They had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy (which was icing on the cake) and you can make your own waffle. Also, they had the pastries and bread and bagels with all the fixins like butter, jelly, honey, and cream cheese. The ladies running the dining area were very nice and cheerful at 7:30 am. I would stay here again if in the area and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
