We arrived at this hotel on December 22nd in pouring rain! The establishment had been open for 2 days but not yet officially inaugurated. A beach not prepared for visitors who travel rather far to come to this (still) lost corner of the Atlantic coast of the Dominican Republic. The bars were not yet stocked and, in fact, nothing was ready for customers to be satisfied with the value for money of this new resort. The worst was the buffet open for the 3 meals but unfortunately not up to par, both in terms of choice, quality and the very poor quantities offered. After having been customers of 40 hotels in the Bavaro - Punta Cana region over the past 20 years, this last experience was unfortunately one of the least successful. The only positive point that I can honestly note is the staff, whose kindness and friendliness made this recent hotel stay in Punta Cana a little less sad

Beautiful structure, brand new inaugurated upon our arrival at the end of December, therefore nothing to say about the overall layout, rooms and common areas, such as restaurants, bars and swimming pool. The beach is also very beautiful, large and surrounded by nature made up mainly of lush palm trees along the entire length of the bay in which at the moment only this village exists, the sea however is the only flaw as the colour is literally brown so dark that it does not allow you to see the bottom even at the shore. Excellent food even in the themed restaurants, bar service however certainly to be improved in terms of management and content probably attributable to the new opening. Exceptional entertainment always very kind and available even with the little ones. I really appreciated the nautical base and the whole team always available to make all the brand new equipment available. I do not rule out returning in the future but the sea is not the typical Caribbean ideal.

I stayed in December 2024 with my family. Newly opened village with some shortcomings that will certainly be filled. Engaging and never intrusive entertainment. Very beautiful and scenic swimming pool with a very nice bar inside it. We really appreciated the themed restaurants that were booked by the management so as to allow everyone to use them. Bravo staff very attentive and ready to solve any type of problem. The beach and the bay are really beautiful but they cannot compensate for the most painful note: the sea which has always had a brown color even on sunny days in stark contrast to the photos published by Alpitour and which pushed us and many others to choose this destination and then be very disappointed. The explanation that was given to us is that the rains before our arrival caused the river that flows into the sea near the village to swell, giving the color that we found. I allow myself to consider this explanation unsatisfactory as we went on some boat trips far from the village and the sea never had a blue color. For this reason I would not return or recommend it.

We stayed at this brand new hotel in the Viva Wyndham chain, just opened in the town of Miches. It is located on a beautiful and pristine beach, adorned with tall and lush palm trees, ideal for long walks and peaceful swims. In front of it is the beautiful bay of Samana, where the whales will soon arrive. The hall, the pool and the themed restaurants are beautiful. As well as the snack point and the bar in front of the sea where the Italian chef prepares excellent pasta and pizza dishes. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms with quality marble. Spectacular gym located on the fourth floor, from which you can enjoy an exceptional view of the sea. Attentive and kind staff, entertainment present but never intrusive. In short, the ideal place to relax and have fun at the same time. We will definitely return and stay longer.
