Hotels Near Sympo in Metropolitan City of Bologna

The lobby and room was very nice as it’s newly renovated. Location was also great, just opposite the train station and about 20-30 minutes walk into the centre. Staff were all very nice and friendly. The only bad thing was the shower water pressure was too low and the hot water took quite long to come on. The room lighting can also be a bit dim. Breakfast isn’t great so I would recommend to eat outside if you can.

We had a very nice stay . All the stuff was super kind and polite . 5 to 5 for the cleaners ! The breakfast was very good ! Special thank to the man with glasses in breakfast stage and reception and also to lovely Albanian lady . We loved them and made our stay very comfortable!

A very nice hotel with good amenities. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was decent. Bring a hairdryer as the hairdryer supplied is ok for short hair, but not great for long hair. There was only 2 plug sockets in the room and one in the bathroom. This makes charging modern day phones, watches and other equipment very difficult. Especially if one of the plugs is located behind a cupboard. The kettle was balanced on the air con unit which isn’t ideal. A shelf would be a good idea. There aren’t any draws to put away underwear or tee shirts so be prepared to live from your case, however there is a clothes rail. The beds are made everyday and fresh towels if required. We used the spa which was lovely, although the pool probably was a clean. We will definitely return as the location is excellent, about 8 minute walk to the station.

Situato vicino stazione centrale ma c’è bisogno di taxi per arrivarci … dalla stazione ci vogliono circa 7/8 minuti .., hotel molto pulito servizio alle reception veloce cordiale è molto disponibile…. camere molto belle e super tecnologiche pulizia ottima (la mia era la 339) colazione al buffet molto abbondante e tutto molto buono con soluzione diverse per soddisfare tutte le esigenze …. con il taxi con una decina di minuti si raggiunge subito il centro .., lo consiglio vivamente a tutti … aggiungo per concludere qualità del sonno ottima e doccia nel bagno maxxi ….. da provare assolutamente

On first approach, it was clear to see that this hotel is quite far out from the city centre however explains why the prices are a lot cheaper. My partner and I stayed here in July 2022 for 4 nights and I must admit, we loved the room and overall feel of the hotel. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. We slept amazingly!! If it was just based on rooms alone, we would give this hotel five stars. However… We booked this hotel mainly because it had a pool. When we asked about the pool, we were informed we needed to book a 1 hour slot if we wanted to use it during that day. This was due to covid measures which were still in place at the hotel. So we did. Booked a 1 hour slot for the pool the following evening. When we arrived at the pool on the lower level, we noticed that the changing rooms were locked and the showers were turned off…due to Covid. Now I would typically understand some reasoning for certain covid rules but this just seemed ridiculous. A couple who were using the pool in the hour slot before us informed us to use the small shower cubicle to get changed as this had a frosted glass door on it and is the only bit of privacy you get down there. So we did! We ended up booking the pool out another two times on our stay but as reception advised following our first pool visit, get changed in your rooms then head down to the pool (assuming you don’t need to get the key from reception to unlock the pool). Towels were provided by poolside although on the first day, there was only one towel left for the two of us. On my final visit to the pool on the morning before we left, I had to go to reception in my swimming trunks because the pool was locked. Something I felt uncomfortable doing in the first place but as there was no changing facilities and the towels were locked by poolside, I reluctantly went to reception where the man behind the desk got angry at me being there in my swimming trunks. Simple solution would be to open up the changing facilities down by poolside to prevent this but hey, that was too obvious. Upon pointing out the fact that the changing facilities in his hotel were locked because they won’t open them due to Covid (which he should have known), he eventually calmed down and mentioned he understood. On our visit we also used the electric bikes which were at reception for a full day at the cost of €25 per bike per day. The system is far to complicated for what it needs to be and should be made simpler by just having reception deal with the booking. Once eventually booked, we were given the keys to the 2 bike locks, helmets and some netting for our hair (another odd covid measure which doesn’t make much sense as you will sweat through the netting anyway). As I was away to take the bikes out, I noticed that all four tyres were flat. Surely this should be inspected by the staff before the bikes are taken out?! Unfortunately staff appeared clueless on what PSI the tires had to be at and as he pumped up the first

The flight was canceled and I was forced to stay overnight in a hurry. I was looking for it near the airport because it was early in the morning. In the morning, I asked the hotel for a taxi and arrived in about 8 minutes and was able to go smoothly. When you arrive at the hotel at night, you can get to the vicinity of the hotel by bus and have good access, but since there is no bus from around 21:00, you can go by train, but if you are a train, you can walk to the hotel for about 30 minutes. Taxi - There is no platform and the road is dark. We were very lucky because we happened to have someone passing by by car. Breakfast is from 7 o'clock. There were amenities and it was very comfortable!

We checked in as part of a tour group at around 8 pm from Rome. We were tired and wanted to sleep, but discovered that our room's AC wasn't working. We included a picture of it with no display. Buttons are not responding at all. We ask our tour leader to help us get this problem fixed. Had a big day tomorrow, so we needed as much rest as we could. Front desk said they'd fix the problem, but no one showed up to our room. After waiting for sometime, they said they had fixed it from their end, but it was clearly not working at all. At almost 10 pm, we were told by our tour group leader that they were going to switch us to a different room. Frustrated, because we had already unpacked our things/clothes so we could get up and move early morning, we now had to repack everything then unpack again. What's worse is, they didn't have anyone from the hotel itself assist us with transferring, but had our tour leader act as their bellboy! They gave an excuse that they were understaffed. No apologies,no compensation, no thoughtfulness or professionalism. It was even borderline racism because they used our tour guide as their bellboy when this whole fiasco was their fault! Just because we're Filipino doesn't mean we get treated worst than any other paying guest of this hotel. We're very disappointed with their service, and will spread our negative experience with as many review sites as we can. This NOT how you treat guests of your hotel.

That was perfect choice comparing price to what you get. We could park for free in front of hotel. Room was great with everything inside. 24h reception and very kind people working there. Breakfast was really great with high quality product. I reccommend this hotel warmly.

I can't understand the many negative reviews. The rooms are clean, the mattress top, under the mattress also clean, the atmosphere is tasteful, the technology at the latest level (access with map, heating digital, light circuit from bed, electric roller loads, safe, 2 chairs). It was well heated. The bathroom was also comfortable with its own temperature control and air conditioning. At breakfast there was nothing to expose. Great buffet with sufficient choice, and delicious coffee in all kinds of variants. German bread was not there and no vegetables (tomats, curry) but otherwise there was nothing to expose. Very good price-performance ratio, nice, friendly staff. The location is in the rural environment in Nirvana. Lamborghini has a work close to. Whoever wants, can visit a museum there. I can recommend the hotel for the price every time.

We were hosted for work reasons ,the clean place,the excellent food and very pleasant masters.Located just a few steps from the small center.Accompanied by their high-level restaurant(autonomous structure)!
