If you only need a night to sleep in Venice centre i can recommend ANDA HOSTEL just for 1€ more you get a well equipped kitchen and hygienic rooms.
I had booked this hostel by mistake i am more than glad to return back to ANDA Hostel again for the 3rd time.
For its location i would still rate it two stars. The front desk staff Mark was being very kind to help me get into my room as soon a bed is available (as I was stranded from an 11hr journey and there was a delayed connecting routes in between) I explained to him that I really need my bed to sleep and eventually as soon a bed is available Mark assigned the room to me at 1pm.
If you have a little more to spare book and only need 2 nights I'd suggest get a hotel into Venice canal they provide room woth breakfast (less than 50€)

This hotel offers affordable accommodation close to the centre of Venice. 5 minute walk to the bus and train stations - get into the centre of Venice within 15 minutes with minimal cost. Hotels rooms are comfortable, clean and with great showers. Delicious breakfast with wide range of choices. Located close to an excellent Italian restaurant and Ice-cream shop which does the best food! information about safe is misleading - no in room safe - valuables can go in the hotel reception safe but this has limited opening hours. Despite this, I would happily stay again.

It was a short but fantastic stay. The room that we had is we felt we had a big space to move around and the beds are wow big. However, there is 1 flaw, the toilet sink is kinda slow draining the water. I’m not sure if it is designed that way, hope not though. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel, if only we are able to make changes to our itinerary for our Italy trip, we could have extended our stay.
The Hotel Mercure Venezia Marghera is ideal for visiting the most famous city on water. Near the A4-A57 motorway and close to the Marghera industrial area, our hotel is perfect for both a holiday and a business trip in nearby Padua, Vicenza and Verona. After a tasty dinner in our restaurant, the spacious and soundproofed rooms, with unbeatable WiFi connection, ensure you can relax in peace.

This hotel could easily get five stars from us. Good location. There is a bus line, line 6, which is located close to the hotel and which runs every 20 minutes, which takes you from the hotel and brings you back for 20min. The price of the stay is significantly lower from the hotel prices in Venice. The hotel is also designed in a modern design and is new - as opposed to the Venetian style, for those of you that it matters. The rooms are spacious and pleasant overall, the soundproofing is excellent. The hotel is quiet. The breakfast is good and the breakfast staff provide excellent service, truly exceptional service. Especially Nicoletta, a constant smile, service given with joy, out of care - Nicoletta gets six stars. The service of the reception staff is also excellent, and in general the service of the staff is good. The cleanliness is good. Overall a good hotel. But what? If you need an extra pillow or blanket - none available. The children were given a double blanket and when we asked for another blanket they said it was not possible because there are currently no maids (we arrived around 10pm). The same goes for additional pillows that we asked for and did not receive throughout our stay (4 nights). The hotel has rooms that are connected by a door - so it is very suitable and convenient for families. We asked for one room with a double bed and one room with separate beds, when we arrived at night, we got two rooms with a double bed arrangement. There are no double beds in the hotel (at least we didn't get one) single beds are connected with a sheet, who cares. Likewise, the doors of the connected rooms - not only could they not be locked to allow parents privacy, they also could not be closed. They left them for us with the closing tab open - so it was impossible to close the doors. In addition, the bathroom in the master bedroom is really dangerous, there is no support for getting out of it - and getting out of it is challenging. Specifically in this bathroom - the emergency line does not work... if you have difficulty walking and moving - ask for a room with a shower, not a bathtub. I think a hotel needs very little effort - to become an excellent hotel. Greater attention to detail and a greater supply of blankets and pillows.

The worst i ever experience. 1. i booked due there advertisement Airport Shuttle what they refuse and say orbitz did it. Even on the website the offer this. ok we take a bus and in the early morning a taxi. 2. with many luggage or handicap you have a problem due he fact you have to move all up 3 stairs. 3. Somebody then make the check in process in a room with copy of the passport on his private cellphone and not normal paper copy - unusual 4. The room is very hot and full covered windows. By removing the cover to open the window surprise in the bathroom aggressive mold and in the living room covered with paint. 5. The AC is working only noisy like a permanent running engine. On Sleeping was not even to think. For this we called all hotel around to possible move only most no respond due closed or sold out. So we decided to stay out of the room as long we could and even the 5 hours at night impossible to sleep due the bad air by possible spreading the mold with the AC. I complete went sick and was at ariving in Madrid due big issues with breathing in the hospital to get some medicamentation. All what we experience we recorded by Foto and video and will report this asap to the authorities in Venice where give this .... a working permission. This ”Hotel” not have to mention the name luxury rooms or anything to host travelers and we hope it get investigated. The funny part is to read other reviews where i cant believe that all other rooms would be luxury or hostable

The location is good, a taxi from the airport is 25 euros, and the hotel bus is 8 euros. Breakfast is OK, but the room is relatively small, as is the case in Europe. Generally speaking, 1,000 yuan a night in the tourist city of Venice is enough.

Breakfast is a common product on the European side, the taste is OK, the hotel has an on-site parking lot, free parking, the best is to provide a mobile phone for free use, can bring out, navigation, all domestic and foreign calls are free. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the main island parking lot in Venice, 7 euros, half price for children. If you can drive to the main island parking lot by yourself, plaza roma is more expensive, it seems like 35 or 39 euros a day, you can find a parking lot from the parking lot one stop bus, city park 4.5 Euros a day, bus back and forth 3 Euros

Rather strange accommodation. The arranged room needs to be entered from the side door outside the hotel. The strange thing is that the elevator is on the second floor. I don't know why it is designed like this. Maybe it was a hotel that was changed later. The windows in the room were boarded up, so you couldn't see outside. I arrived in the afternoon, so it didn't matter. I left after sleeping. Breakfast is relatively simple and average. The hotel is not far from the pedestrian street of the town, so you can go shopping on foot.

Outstanding
GGuest UserVery clean place and the I enjoyed the daily breakfast they served each morning. The host went above and beyond when I called him after-hours to help me find a wine bottle opener, I appreciate that.
Some minor drawbacks: Our room was close to the common area and the sound isolation wasn't great. We could hear conversations being had outside, so we had to be mindful about privacy.
Also, I didn't know this when I booked the tickets, but apparently Mestre city is kind of a shady area overall. Luckily this place is only 100m from the bus stop where buses can take you straight to Venice, so you don't have to wander around the Mestre streets at night more than you would like.
Overall I had an awesome time though :)
JjoseiuVery nice, quiet and modern place to stay. It has a kitchenette and a balcony. It also has umbrellas for renting at the hotel lobby.
However the hotel apartment has only one elevator which it could take long time of waiting.
Overall, it's a recommended place if you don't want to stay inside Venice.
ZZhemingVery good location. Just directly opposite the Mestre train station. Less than 2 mins walk. Opp hotel there is this super good Chinese restaurant opened by Wenzhou family. Fried rice is so good and much much cheaper than Switzerland. The hotel has special opening manner where u have to insert your card in a slightly different way than other hotels to unlock the lights
GGuest UserTypical Hilton so quality was not bad. Rather than paying v high hotel rates in Venice people should consider Hilton as it is v reasonable. There are two buses right outside the door with the 2nd stop that brings you to Venice bus terminals. You can walk in to Venice or take a ferry within 30 min with things to see whilst you are walking.
Another plus is that with a 5 to 10 min taxi ride you and your luggages will arrive at the door of Hilton without the trouble of taking your luggages to your hotel in Venice after transport through boats
But you need to time the return journey especially when the weather is cold or wet as it is hard to get a taxi in the evening when people are leaving after dinner.
TTiffany1902Good standard hotel opposite Mestre station. Frequented mainly by international clients. Excellent staff very fast chekinn, quick breakfast with a good cappuccino. Convenient location to reach the city of Venice. Condigliato
GGuest UserWhen we arrived we realised that all the previous reviews were correct. The area is not safe at all and there are men hanging around on the corner of the hotel for hours on end. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, however, there’s no extra security in place and hotel reception staff aren’t 24/7. On the 3rd night, due to there not being aircon, we had to leave the window open (these windows open 2 different ways - like a normal window or a safety way where only the top opens towards the room). At 3.30am we were woken up to an intruder who was trying to break into our room through trying to open the window from the outside by using a metal screwdriver to open it. We had to shout, scream and push the door shut and as two ladies in a room we couldn’t get back to sleep. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, which wouldn’t have mattered anyway as there was no one around. It was horrible & when we tried to tell the lady at reception the next day, she didn’t do anything, just said she’d check the cameras like she didn’t believe us. We were in such a hurry to leave the hotel. We were in a room separate from the main hotel, down the road, which looked like old council flats. The room itself is very basic. Nothing in the mini fridge, our window was broken on the first day and we had to wait 30 minutes for a handy man to come and fix it. We only got one pillow and even though we asked for another one, we never got it. The beds were really hard and our bedding wasn’t changed, just made everyday. The shower was exceptionally small but it was powerful. you can hear every single thing that happens in the rooms next door. We were woken up by people showering in different rooms at 6am. The breakfast is very dissatisfying. There are two sittings - on our first day the breakfast lady refused us entry as our names hadn’t been put on the sheet where you have to say which sitting - an error by the reception staff as we had booked the night before. The breakfast itself had all ran out by the time we were able to sit down. 1 bit of cheese left and no fruit. Very basic so we decided to get breakfast out the next day. As there are no reception staff, we couldn’t check out before 8am, however we had to be at the airport for 8.30 so we went to reception to hand the key back in. The lady was very rude and told us we should’ve checked out last night? How would we have got into our room? she also was rude and told us that we should’ve booked our taxi the night before too (even though the previous staff who were very helpful said come to reception in the morning. We left feeling very unsafe and worried that we hadn’t been able to check out. We were hoping to speak to the manager but the woman just walked away. It’s such a shame as the younger staff were really helpful and friendly at the start. But it’s not safe - I wouldn’t feel safe on my own and I didn’t feel safe with two of us. It is close to the train station, but you don’t feel safe walking there
AAnonymous UserFew minutes walk to the tram stop and direct line to Venice approx 30 mins. Ask the locals about how to get a tram ticket online super easy. Friendly staff. Missed out on the breakfast as we got there so late but overall great place and good value.
GGuest UserClean hotel. Good selection for breakfast. A bit of a trek to the bus stop to take you into Venice with small kids. Only one plug socket in our room between 4 people. Good hotel for a base but not much around it.
GGuest UserEverything was clean. The double bed was just two single beds put together. The provided towels were good and plentiful. However, the amount of shower gel/shampoo was insufficient for two people. We could only find one open power outlet to put our chargers, which was an inconvenience, but maybe we missed others. Biggest complaint would be the absence of a fan (ceiling or standing) so it was quite hot in the room, the windows did not have protection from bugs so we did not open them. The location is quite good, it‘s close to the bus station, you can get to Venice in 30 minutes. The personnel was friendly and let us stay in the lobby before we could check in. Overall, for the price we cannot really complain, a fan would have made the experience a lot better though.
