到了酒店是20:30，酒店是個獨立的房子，從外面完全看不出來，窗户的燈都是黑的，也沒名字，大門緊閉，找了兩圈問了邊上的商家才知道就是這裏，按門鈴沒人，衹能找電話聯繫，這期間下起了大雨，被淋透了衹能回到車上打電話，好不容易找到人給我們開了門，一進去一股黴味，裏面很安靜感覺陰森森的，果斷離開，在附近找了另外一家酒店。

Wow - what an amazing place! We didn't expect to find such a gem in Messina, but this hotel has so much character. Our suite had a balcony with a view, a huge en suite, a chandelier and a tapestry. We found we had the whole hotel to ourselves overnight (no staff on the premises!). Breakfast was fabulous, with loads of choice, and the location was great for exploring in the afternoon. Messina isn't the most exciting location (we were en route to the Aeolian Islands) but this hotel made our stay very special!

We had a pleasant stay. The view is great but it is more an AB&B not a hotel as such.
Towels were the size of foot mat …. Need to address with bath towels. Parking able to find literally outside. Room was large, stay was pleasant.

This is an exceptional place to stay. It is an old mansion that has been retrofitted to receive guests. It is beautiful and full of history. You feel as if you are stepping back in time. The location is also excellent. The staff superior and gave us a list of places to go and restaurants to visit. We had one of our BEST meals at the restaurant the suggested. The bed and pillows were also amazing. The best we slept in BY FAR. I would highly recommend staying here.

Abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza super ricercata. Per un giorno ci siamo immersi in un’atmosfera super suggestiva. Ho apprezzato la disponibilità e accoglienza del personale in fase di check e nell’attenzione nella preparazione dei cornetti caldi a colazione. Unico aspetto negativo non di poco conto è stata la pulizia della stanza. Essendo un parametro essenziale devo segnalare, mio malgrado, che la pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare. Invito e consiglio di prestare più attenzione.

The room was an amazing surprise….very large and exquisite decor. We had 2 spacious patios overlooking the water. The staff was very helpful and we cannot recommend the establishment highly enough. Antiques were abundant and tastefully displayed.

This is a grand old house, well-kept and beautiful on the Messina waterfront. It was really fun to stay here and we partied on the rooftop terrace until late, enjoying the night view and watching the ships come and go in the harbor. It’s a 15 minute walk to downtown shopping but there is a light rail train that stops right out front. There are some restaurants nearby. We loved the charm.
